Hm, it might have been a more contested vote if the other two options were, say, Guilliman and Sanguinius. Guilliman being placed in the role of Lorgar's guide would have been just as ironic and hilarious as Corax being assigned this position. As for Sanguinius, well, it is self-explanatory.

Hm, Lorgar does seem to have shifted his counterpart's position ever so slightly, which is impressive. As noted, Daemon Prince Lorgar went from saying that Chaos is inevitable and that the other Lorgar could not resist it forever to simply telling Lorgar that Chaos is inevitable and to save what little he can when the time comes.

If Lorgar interacts further with his Daemon Prince counterpart throughout this vision quest, one wonders if Lorgar can further shift his counterpart's position. With his Essence awakened, Lorgar has achieved true enlightenment and opened his eyes to cosmic truths. Perhaps he might be able to help his counterpart attain true enlightenment as well, at least help him reach one step closer to it.

This conflict is a social one, after all. It will be a disucssion and debate.

Corax is tempting, if I remember correctly he's the one that chased deamon Lorgar into a tower right? After whooping him. Intrigue is needed when facing a larger threat and is a scapal instead of a hammer when facing Chaos. Finding their shadows when they infiltrate is just as important. Some Primarchs didn't fall due to personal failing but their Children falling first and betraying them.

I had all the Loyalist Primarchs as an option initially, but cut it to these three as Sang is as dead as Horus and Guilliman is in Stasis and not available. Vulcan is nowhere and the Khan is in the Webway.

Then only Lorgar's Mythos powers are left. After the vision quest, you can directly purchase powers for Lorgar at 10xp each.

Can someone total how much xp was earned in the 3 turns?

Hmm... looking at the MA charms I think Lorgar is very much a glass canon primarch wise. He can beat a more physically focused adversary, but he has to burn a lot of Essence. He is going to get mote tapped fast with only 10, so he wins in the first few rounds or not at all. That makes sense in terms of the narrative since Lorgar's power isn't intrinsic to his legend it is born of understanding and being able to conscious use his Mythos.
 
Updated Lorgar's powers. Each cost 10xp but I am still determining how much xp Lorgar will get. Keep in mind that developing powers from Mythos is HARD. Normally, a Primarch has to go through hell and back to gain such powers.

Note: Just because there are only 5 Tasks per project does not mean they are easy or doable in short periods of time. Discuss this with the Storyteller.

Buy later, I think we can figure out what we need to do to take over the planet without the charm and after that this will be useful in the Empire, especially if we go conquering. He's the social primarch so knowing what he needs to do to take a place with little or no violence is useful as all heck.

: Lorgar can roll Mental + Ability at base difficulty to determine the full value or worth of an object, favor or something and how to leverage it. This allows Lorgar to add or subtract Successes difficulty from any Social Influence roll by anyone who is trying to buy or sell that thing. Whether Lorgar succeeds or not depends on how well they roll on Social.

Buy as needed, it is a neat power, but circumstantial and will only come into its own once and if we plan to do big trades, probably after we meet the Emperor

System
: Lorgar can read, write and speak all languages a human is capable of doing so. This counts for the purpose of teaching others the language but this charm does not protect them from any ill effects or enhance Lorgar's ability to teach them. (This explicitly allows Lorgar to learn Enuncia and speak it without exploding, though it does not help with collateral damage or other dangers inherent to Enuncia.)

If it were not for the Enuncia thing I would call this a pretty minor charm but as is and with that synergy, buy now. Each of the three words we can teach him on their own are as powerful as any of the stronger charms he can master.

Compelling Voice
System
: Lorgar can roll Mental + Awareness against their (Social + Socialize) and knows what to say to reduce an intimacy. Lorgar is treated as having a sufficient Intimacy of higher value needed to reduce targeted Intimacy by one degree, i.e from Major to Minor and Minor to none. The effect lasts depending on the successes rolled.

Very circumstantial, buy as needed. It makes more sense to use those rolls to grind down the intimacy with similar rolls than it does to go for a short term play like this unless you are in some kind of time crunch

Hide the Evidence
System
: Any clues Lorgar leaves behind on his actions taken during a scene degrades or if they already do, degrades one Interval faster. Videos and recordings become corrupt, memories fade and so on through a series of coincidences that appear implausible but well within the bounds of possibility. In addition, all Characters will need to roll Willpower against the Lorgar's (Physical/Mental + Stealth/Socialize) to avoid misinterpreting the clues and evidence.

OK, who let the Ebon Dragon into the kid's charms... Oh, it might have been us oops. :V

Useful but not immediately so. One should probably have a plot in mind before you take the cover-up charm so buy as needed.

Clark Kenting
System
: Lorgar appears "unremarkable" to any forms of observation, both magical and mundane that are not specifically looking for him. In such cases, they are dismissed as inconsequential unless he is blatantly or directly recorded/seen doing something extraordinary or provocative. If he is taking some indirect action that would reveal them or make them feel out of place, the character can spend a point of Willpower and make a Willpower roll against the Lorgar's (Physical/Mental + Stealth/Socialize) to attempt to acknowledge and investigate him.

This is a hilarious power for a nine foot tall giant, for that alone, buy later.

Mind of Steel
System
: Any attempt to cause or force Lorgar to betray, undermine, or abandon his Intimacies automatically fails. Furthermore, he becomes immune to all thought and emotion-altering magic.

True Faith can already do most of this, buy as needed

Eyes of the Primarch
System
: Reduce the difficulty of all Social influence rolls against characters whose Intimacies are known, at -1 difficulty per Intimacy. Archetype provides a -2 difficulty reduction.

This is basically a social excellency, we should definitely buy it later when we have the XP to spare.

Voice of the Primarch
System
: Any Social influence rolls against subordinates are granted Mythos reduction in difficulty. Subordinates for these charms, includes those who swore fealty at sword point.

Very useful for when we take the planet, there are going to be a lot of people with their own ideas about how to do things. Persuasion will be necesary so buy now

Laws of the Primarch
System
: All direct actions taken against a Subordinate who has broken Lorgar's rules or betrayed him have their difficulty reduced by -3 until they earn his forgiveness. This only applies to actions taken Directly against the Subordinate that Lorgar knows has betrayed him or has disobeyed one of his rules.

Only does anything once you get betrayed, this is the definition of circumstantial and not a circumstance we want to come about. Buy as needed.

Craft of the Primarch
System
: All direct actions taken by Lorgar or his subordinates to directly maintain and directly defend against any attempt to cause or force them to betray, undermine, or abandon their Intimacies to or are a part of, from any attack, corruption or anything else that would affect it negatively have their difficulty reduced by -3. NOTE: They must be able to resist it for this to apply.

Chaos and general betrayl protections on the other hand is useful and will continue to be so. Buy later.

At some point it might be useful to give Lorgar the Shapechange mutation, so he can adopt a more conventional human sized form.

Not charms per say so no. Even otherwise, GoGG is a charm I am not sure to allow as it serves no purpose right now. You are locked in what Yozi you can take and need to unlock charms. Lorgar is limited by xp.

So that charm is something I would need to think about.
