Earth Bet: House of the Sun (Cultist Simulator/Worm)

[X] Aiding the cult to the best of our ability
-[X] You'll work your hours and no more (Gain no extra actions, default)
--[X] Dig into the files, take a peek at confidential information (Major suspicion)
-[X] On furthering the cause.
--[X] Train the fodder, get them up to snuff
-[X] The Mansus, a place of contradictions. It calls to you, reach out.
--[X] Explore the Woods and it's many secrets
-[X] On matters outside the cult
--[X] Offer Ai your assistance and knowledge about the legal side of the games of power.

Threw in assisting our mothy associate. We might be... not that subtle. But we have been navigating the halls of military for quite a while.

Whether they appreciate the offer or not...

Cool to see a quest inspired by one of my favourites.

Looks interesting so far and it's a fun choice of character. Plus a suitably ambitious goal. I'm very curious learning more about the lore on the CS side of things… will definitely be following.

@Witherbrine26

This looks great! And I finished reading Worm once, so I might even jump in and read it as well.

I don't say this with any malice. And I truly wish success to you and your quest.

May your readers be kind to you, and your inspiration to write plentiful. I look forward to see how you mash the Shards with the concept of Hours!

Oh shit I forgot to mention that at the start of the quest. Let me go do that, your quest is a pretty huge inspiration and I can't believe that slipped my mind sorry about that
No problem at all! I also apologize for disturbing you to begin with.

The site where I am writing is, from what I hear, less populated than this one. But I'll mention your quest there if you don't mind.

Cheers!

[X] Plan: Hidden training.

... Is this a Wolf cult? Because it feels a bit like it is with all the "unmaking" talk. And the principles of the Master too.

Well, she has-
A young waif of a girl, with flowers woven into her hair. She walks silently and speaks rarely but when she does you feel you heart freeze over and the pain of total unmaking.
-flowers on her head, and pretty damning Lores.

Sounds like a flower-girl, no? Sounds like someone who might have a close relationship with the ocean, no?

The name "Coelle" comes to mind :V

Did somebody say "Cultist Simulator quest"? Well this I have to see, and I'm in on the ground floor for once.

Now then...

[X] Plan: Hidden training.

This looks right and meet, stealth is important in this line of work.

Establish positive working relationships with your fellow Cultists early people, it'll make them more hesitant to betray you.

To get as much personal power as possible, or to cement yourself as a valuable ally...
Why not both?

[x] Plan: Getting Started

[X] Aiding the cult to the best of our ability

I do think that the Dreaming can wait a bit, best to be prepared and not assume that we know what is lurking in the dark.
...If any great amount of my fellow CS-Equestria players migrates to this, then I'd imagine that assumptions would run rampant.

My assumption is that someway, somehow, we will eventually fuck up in spectacular fashion.

I would like one action on work, one action on learning the Lores, one action on the cult, and one action on the Mansus - though right now I do not think we are prepared enough to brave it. I agree that we should get to know our cult members - hmm... I don't want to risk cutting corners this early, so since we have 2 months we can train the fodder next turn.

[X] Plan Shift in Personality
-[X] On work and the challenges it entails.
--[X] You'll work your hours and no more (Gain no extra actions, default)
-[X] On the goal. (All of the following options are suspicious. This only applies if you are caught)
--[X] Do some research, watch some tapes of the fighting (Minor suspicion)
-[X] On furthering the cause.
--[X] Assist somebody else in their task
---[X] Offer Ai your assistance and knowledge about the legal side of the games of power.
-[X] On learning the Lores.
--[X] You Master is willing to teach, request a lesson
---[X] Moth

[X] Plan Shift in Personality

A mix of befriending the Cult members, and also gaining Moth. Lantern can be focused on after we have more than the baseline ability to hide from suspicion.

Besides… Moth will help us avoid any Lantern-based FASCINATION that may come knocking, especially with Winter already providing decent Groundwork in that regard…

A buzzing in the brain and all that…

Witherbrine26 How is the order of action arranged?
Does it follow a list or a narrative logic?
Suppose the action of the Hidden training plan unfolds according to a list, or as its logic implies, will the training of the moth and the journey to Mansus take place first?

Narrative logic.
They go most beneficial (Training, studying etc) to least beneficial and least dangerous to most dangerous (Expeditions, suspicious actions etc)
