Disciples of Red Dew Sect (Cultivation Riot Quest)

Turn 1: Zhu Saqiang's Mission
A message in much blockier handwriting is posted on the barracks of the inner and outer disciples.

"The Elder Maçon places a mission at the behest of the disciples of our glorious sect of Red Dew. The handgonne is a crucial implement of modern war and is the weapon of the future, the disciple that brings back the most quality Peasant-Grade handgonnes, or harquebuses, I am not critical of the exact variety, will be allowed to learn at my feet for a period of one month."

"There shall be no show of worth, only a show of results, you have exactly one month to return with the goods."

The message is signed by Tristram Maçon, Elder of War.

A note is attached next to Elder Macon's announcement

"In light of Elder Macon's request for firearms, I, Elder Zhu Saqiang, am willing to teach any disciples the art of gunsmithing. Adequate results and potential for talent may lead to further invitations to study the Path of Firearms."

@Arcanestomper does the Technique Manual I have in mind seem reasonable? Also I don't know what element is best for a blacksmith. I am thinking Metal, but maybe it's Earth, or Fire.

Hmm, the technique manual won't have the full set from that school just get you started on the path. But if you want to be a smith Metal is best.

I'll give it a shot I guess...

BTW, I just wanted to confirm what the Training a Technique does. Is it more Making a technique you already have stronger, or learning a whole new one entirely?

Quick question: Are the realms in this setting the classic realms for most Xianxia? (I.E Qi-Refining, Foundation Building, Golden Core and Nascent soul)

It can be both. You can become more skilled in a technique you already have making it stronger. Or if you have acquired a new manual you can start learning it.

Quick question: Are the realms in this setting the classic realms for most Xianxia? (I.E Qi-Refining, Foundation Building, Golden Core and Nascent soul)

I came up with my own for this.

Tempered Peasant <- You Are Here
Forged Soldier
Iron Knight
Core Lord
Gold Baron
Jade Count
Nascent Marquess
Profound Duke
Sage King
Eternal Emperor
Tribulation Saint
True Immortal
Celestial Being

That said the names are different, but I did take a lot of inspiration from classic xianxia realms.

And I'm guessing we're all starting on the lowest rung, just with with different grades on the lowest rung depending on our gift? Well, except the Elders. What realm are they at?

You all start at the Tempered Peasant Realm. There are senior outer disciples in the Forged Soldier Realm and Inner Disciples in the Iron Knight realm. The elders are at various stages of Core Lord.
