Description: An oldman with a long white beard, the hair on his head now only in patches. Just from the look in his black eyes most people can tell that he has likely seen too much.
Noticed one of the elders didn't have a pic so I doodled my headcanon on my phone

Got a chessboard for a head cuz he can't stop playing games 😔🙏

Turn 6: Mei Fenfang's Mission
A little notes pinned to the outer disciple mission board

"Currently the sects spirit beast farm is limited to llamas and pheasants. We wish to rectify this. Therefore those that wish to participate are tasked with catching spirit beasts alive and bringing them to the sects spirit beast farm. As most spirit beasts do not appreciate such things this is counted as a combat mission and will be awarded 20 Merit points upon completion."

"The meeting place for the mission is the entrance to the spirit beast farm. Note that you can also try this on your own, but if you do you will only be awarded the points if you do bring back a spirit beast as we cannot confirm your participation otherwise and you will not have the protective benefit a group would provide. It would however offer you more flexibility and the chance of finding rare specimen and earning extra rewards."

Signed,
-Elder of Flowers, Mei Fenfang

Turn 6: Cheng Nianzu's Mission
A painting of a small lake, filled with ships of all sizes would find it's way to the outer disciple mission board. On further inspection the details of a a small town with ship construction docks, access to the river and Lake Taiwei below would present themselves. Next to a missive from the eccentric elder Nianzu.

"I have been inspired to take lake Taiwei from the groupers and build a fleet of ships with which to exploit it's resources as well as conduct trade with the Windy Valley barony. But as the barony currently lacks much shipbuilding knowledge or a place to build them and as lake Taiwei itself is home to our most hated enemy... We must start small first. By constructing our own lake in which to iterate these designs and chum the waters for weapons against our most hated foes... It shall be no small task, but the benefits shall be nearly infinite."

Signed
-Admiral Nianzu, Elder of Enlightenment.

P.S. avoid the river serpents. If they can pull down a ship they can easily pull down any number of outer disciples.

(While this looks like a shitpost, the mission is 100% serious. Controlling that lake gives so many benefits. And... Well we can't really construct ships right next to the Groupers so...)

This nameless mook is slightly confused, won't chumming the waters attract river serpents? Will the feed be placed elsewhere to redirect their attention?

The "Chumming the waters for weapons designs" part was a joke. :p

Just to be clear do you mean that they're stronger than the PC outer disciples and are therefore at Soldier or that they're stronger than any outer disciple and are therefore Knights?

At least soldier. No idea how strong they are top tier.

@Arcanestomper I'd like to break 1 stone down to silver and spend 120 to hire a mortal gardening team to tend to my plot for 3 months. Imma have them plant 9 of my herbs with instructions from my technique manual this next turn then have them harvest for me turn 9. A growing cycle is 3 turns, right?

Yes, a growing cycle is 3 turns. However we're about to enter winter. So your yields will be reduced as the mortals have to work extra hard to keep the herbs alive in the cold.

--[X] Use Fortune
--[X] Use Sword and Shield

...I'll raise my pay to 150 in that case as a thank you. Is it at least guaranteed to give me more than I put in?

[X] Gan Jia

-[X] Sell 1 Clay Beast Corpse for 20 Spirit Stones, buy 2 clay Body Tempering Elixers

[X] Sum of 7, 3, and 5
-[X] Healing: Oh accursed be I, child of night's child. Woefully injured, unjustly, by some manner of fluffy, venomous crab o' the land. Not only that, it appears that all the missing blood (and maybe poison) has caused some manner of hallucinations amidst my eyes. I can now see the color of "sword". This is obviously insane nonsense and I should find a doctor. I shall bemoan these facts near some kind looking individuals of this beautiful and compassionate Barony.
--[X] Fortune: Copper?
--[X] The Theft of Fire: I am going to attempt to "yoink" a piece of fate to get me a doctor. This feels like a bad decision, but I believe in my Technique. If that seems to fail, I will settle with just grabbing their attention. Like a loser. That is, if techniques can be used by those of us on the very edge of the domain of Death (May he never wake).
-[X] Eyes: Fortune Clay to Copper
