Holy fuck another halfer!? I know I don't want to get my hopes up because I only know an edgelord in DMC and he is being babysat by his brother right now... but either it's an OC or the horrifying... DmC?
It's implied to be DmC. At least Sky already warned people ahead of time this arc might not be for everyone just for that.Holy fuck another halfer!? Waitaminute... Nero? So, Urizen is apparently here and either Nero decided to jump in or DmC Donte is stealing his lines."You've got a jacked-up notion of fair play, kid," the white-haired man told Taylor. "Not going to lie. It's pissing me off."
I'm pretty chill about DmC tbh, while it is pretty much cool that the Sparda siblings of that particular place are more or less have a stronger baseline than OG Sparda brothers, I am more a fan of OG Sparda. It's implied to be DmC. Still, I have high hopes. And I, for one, am willing to bet that Taylor is going to wreck Virgil's shit something fierce.
Could this be the arc where she unlocks her Devil Trigger?
Seems to be mixing Dante with Nero to build DMC Dante's character a little betterWaitaminute... Nero? So, Urizen is apparently here and either Nero decided to jump in or DmC Donte is stealing his lines.

To clear things up, and and to give some context without spoiling too much, the Sparda twins from Ninja Theory's DmC: Devil May Cry are going to be a central focus for Mission 2.
Truth be told, I'm a little nervous about writing them, considering all the flak DmC gets, but like I said before, I'm always up for a challenge and I still believe that even a bad character can be written well if handled properly.
If get pass the emo and edginess worthy of cringe, DmC Dante is actually a neat character. You just have to take out all the cringe involved in him.
And I've already made my point clear about the wasted potential that is Virgil.
Yes...because hes younger and hasnt had time to become the character who appeared in the other game. You wouldnt expect him to be the same person, even if it wasnt a reboot.DmC Vergil on the other hand is a whole nother bag of toys. He's nowhere near as cultured, honorable, or skilled as DMC Vergil nor does he have as much depth. Much like DmC Dante he is Vergil In Name Only. VINO if you will.
The new one felt like an emo, angsty brat thinking that being an asshole is a funny trait, whilst the New Vergil used a gun to kill an unborn baby and off the mama afterwords. You know, I actually prefer to DMC versions over the other version. I found the original Dante to be a bit of an annoying prick, although far from a bad character. The one in the new one felt a little more...real. I mean, you cant exactly blame the guy for being a bit of a dick considering that hes literally at the start of his career and isnt even aware of most of the Demon shit at the start.
I also prefer the DMC game over the others since I could actually figure out where the flying fuck I was supposed to go.
I am baking some fan art atm.
Does anyone have good refs for vergils coat? I am not sure if I should change it or not.
