Dice rolls are 1d10 + Stat + Proficiency + any applicable bonuses, such as Boons.
You may spend 3 Tension to Overdrive for a retroactive +5 to your roll (a Determination Overdrive), or +3 to an ally's roll (a Teamwork Overdrive). I will also automatically overdrive to avoid exhaustion or unconsciousness.
It is possible to critically succeed (on +5 on skill checks and +10 on combat rolls) or critically fail (by the same margins), but rolling a 1 or a 10 does not automatically crit in either case. It is possible to crit retroactively by Overdriving.
Your stat bonuses have names:
Vigor grants a Strength bonus.
Agility grants a Dexterity bonus.
Spirit grants an Aura bonus.
Mind grants an Intuition bonus.
Resolve grants a Guts bonus.
Dice are rolled on a first come, first serve bonus. You only roll for Deedee.
As properly made marmalade is awesome, I am going to nth the suggestion of some of the marmalade we're helping make. It being 'homemade' ought to make it a better gift.
(also Ace and DeeDee fielding the Soccer Interrupt from that kid was adorable)
You move before you can reason why, punting the relatively soft sphere up with your knee to kill momentum, enough time to see it's a ball; a casual headbutt sends it to Ace, who immediately does a roundhouse and sends the ball right back where it came from - into the hands of a stunned little foxboy wearing a skullcap, two blocks down.
That was fantastically out of the blue and I love it.
I hope everyone else in the party gets warm feelings of safety and security having these two megachads on the team, ready to F L E X away problems at a moment's notice.
I only just realized I did this. It's not universal - there's at least a few guildmembers and potential sixth party members that break this pattern - but it is hilarious.
The Pixie stereotype is that they aren't that strong, but you can spec Vigor as a Pixie. It's uncommon in the lore and more common than you'd think with contrarian Players.
I did end up switching her out to create the Blood Legion Renegade* of my dreams, but I have fond memories of my brief dabbling in this realm with the GW2 Asura Warrior I named 'Tiny Steel Brick.'
*less edgelord and more canon feminist revolutionary than the name makes it sound

Bad news - Luni is coming home this week, so the update will be delayed as I get them reoriented, clean up, etc. Expect it by Saturday. I may throw up a lorepost.
All the ferocity and strife condensed into one tiny body. My irl friend is very brave, because she explained this theory to me while looking me, a short person, dead in the eye. Very brave indeed.
Apart from the shift to first person and giving Deedee a polearm instead of claws (to facilitate her acrobatic style of fighting) it will be very faithful to the Quest.
Take a look if you like!
(I'll post a lore snippet, and work on the update this week, as well. ASAP.)
Eranda The Allmother/Eranda Ferax Goddess of Fertility, Femininity, Farming, Growth, Sexuality, Healing, the Hearth, and Weaving
Matriarch of the Pastoralist Subpantheon Married to Scherzo; partnered with Aurora
Mother of Flamma, Thorne, and Delvar
Art by Rukafais
ERANDA the Allmother is the goddess of mothers, shepherds, farmers, and all who tend to the growth of those in their care. Most if not all of her Sacred are priestesses, rather than priests; she bids those who revere her to love as they will if it harms none, to consider the warp and weft of thier actions, and to heal the wounded, care for the sick, feed the hungry, defend the weak, and to commit no violence not offered in the breach of peace.
SUMMARY
Eranda the Allmother (the title Ferax, "the Fertile," is a later imposition by the Auroran pantheon) is a healing and nature goddess whose Adventuring followers are best suited in support or control roles. While not passive by any means, they focus on high damage and healing over time, long duration and renewable buffs, and placing rapidly growing obstacles to hinder enemy movement rather than high burst damage or direct debuffing - making them surprisingly flexible and adaptable at the Occult classes as well as natural fits for Alchemists working with cooking, dyes and weaving, and Entertainers such as Harpers, Bards, and Raindancers.
GAMEPLAY Least Boon: Midwife's Light Touch - You gain a Support action with a range of touch that grants a +3 bonus to Composure checks, on an hour-long cooldown. This one is subtle but far more powerful than it looks; Composure checks are used to shake off status effects with the Psychological tag, such as supernatural fear or - crucially if you adventure with a Berzerker - the Berzerk status. Sadly, this doesn't include most mind control, though it does include Charm; but you'll be deliberately triggering fear, berzerk and despair effects often enough that a party designed to work with them, along with an Erandite, can make Despair a source of free SP and a Berzerker into far less of a double-edged sword. MLT also synergizes very well with the Husbandry and Medicine skills, which is memetically "great bedside manner" (on it's own, or as a euphemism for being a well-endowed woman).
Valuable Boons:
The most essential Boon in an Erandite's arsenal is Perennial Regrowth, the best Recharge effect in the game - for a Support Action and half the Pneuma cost for the original Technique, this allows you to refresh the duration of Persistent effects an unlimited number of times, with a rapid cooldown. This is better than it sounds, as damage over time and healing over time are also Persistent effects - and if you're a Sacred Erandite, these are your bread and butter anyway. Even if not, never forget thatyou can use it on effects cast by your allies!
Chicken Soup for the Aura is an Erandite version of the Passive Healing perk, which is mostly useful because it doesn't require rare reagents - just for your character to have the Stewardship skill so they can cook. Bumper Crop is useful for Occultists with access to Attack Nodes, Refraction Points, and Portals as it allows you to create more Nodes per cooldown. Watered With Blood allows you to cast from HP in a pinch - situational, but if you go Resolve, you can engineer situations where you can burn your own HP to keep the tank up. The capstone Boon, Across The Green Earth, gives all of your Support abilities incredible range, allowing you to duck aggro that other supports would otherwise have to eat...
...Technique Considerations:
You have a surprisingly broad number of elements to choose from: Fire, Wood/Poison, Water, and Miraculous. Keep in mind that access to Perennial Regrowth means you're almost always better off with either Sapping damage over time or Persistent damage field effects, as well as favoring Regeneration effects over burst healing. Your buffs are likewise powerful because of this, but your most interesting support options allow you to create barriers of vegetation to funnel or slow down your enemies - making you a control caster rather than a conventional support...
...DIVINE BEAST: Cariogh Orga
For a hornless ewe, Cariogh Orga is a huge butthead! Periodically, she'll spin together yarn from her own golden fleece, stitching together adds you'll need to dispose of. Distract her from her knitting when you can with Provokes or Interrupt Attacks, or by Launching her - forcing her to waste an action spreading her wings. Or shear her with fire and slashing attacks - she'll grow it back, but while she's shorn her Defense and Resistance are drastically reduced...
...The good news is that Cariogh Orga has surprisingly weak magic spells - if you have enough Cleanse effects, you can easily Resistance-tank the initial damage of her DoT's, then purge them. This leaves her powerful Agility-based attacks, but covering for low Armor is a lot easier than needing to buff both Armor and Resistance...
...LORE NOTES:
Eranda is said to have invented the calendar and taught the people of Mundus how to farm, asking in return for gifts of fruit. Strawberry shortcakes with cream feature prominently at her harvest feasts, which honor her because the cake, too, is freckled like the goddess it's dedicated to; though lamb, pease and mint are also sacred foods to her. City Erandites are rare, and mostly tend to become bakers, honoring the Goddess of Grain by exalting the food commonly kenned as "peasant's gold"...
...The Erandite version of the myth of Thorne's birth insists that Eranda, a goddess who was never above polygamy for either it's own sake or the sake of social harmony, noticed the wandering eyes of Scherzo but then took him aside, agreed that she was beautiful, and proposed a conspiracy to bring her to their bower, so that it would be Eranda's seed that grew within Aurora, fertilized and watered by Scherzo. Eranda knew full well that any freeborn child of an Omphalan had the right to Omphalan citizenship themselves...
...the mystery cult of Eranda and her clergy are all priestesses by convention; legally, men are not allowed in the cult. However, NPCs you meet along the Erandan and Flamman vision questlines indicate that it's only legal men so bound, and that a small but significant percentage of her priesthood have medically and magically transitioned, framed as an act of devotion to the Goddess of Womanhood...
Technically, she and her ally worked together to outflank Aurora - which is definitely a phrase followed by waggling eyebrows and cawed laughter.
Also, look at what Midwife's Light Touch does. Now consider that Scherzo definitely has some sacred Berzerkers in his cult. There's a reason they're married!
