Found it. I may do that as my second LR. And I'll probably post it on the other thread this time.
EDIT: Title is "Angel's of our Future". Oh God, spelling and grammar errors...

Well, i've spoken to the writer, he isn't doing out of malice or for the lulz like Hackuyou...he's just a genuine but mediocre writer who just needs to be pushed the right direction.

Hello all! Do you have a question about the wonderful fucked up world of ambiance? ask away! and they will (probably) get answered!

Is there any definite answer to the toughness of the shipgirls. Damon goes on and on about how they're supposed to be bulletproof and all, but in story normal guns always seem to pose a threat. So is that shit ever answered or is he just doing whatever he feels like at the moment. IIRC in one of the snippets from a later chapter some shipgirls got hurt by bullets, but that would mean Damon was wrong, which obviously can't be the case.

Also how strong are his shipgirls supposed to be. That shit's all over the place as well. Damon and the girls themself, always say they're as strong as their ship counterpart, but they seem to be pretty fucking weak, if that's the case.

Basically what I'm saying is that if their supposed capabilities were true, Murakumo should have been able to tear through all the chapters you've read here so far with her bare hands without needing the supershield thingy to stop bullets and the only thing she would have to watch out for may have been mines, grenades and rockets.

So my real question is: Are these inconsistencies between the character statements and what's happening ever cleared up?

Man it's amazing how worked up I can get over something like this.

Long story short, the shipgirls are immune to any small arms humans can wield with exception of heavy weapons like missiles and and what not, if a missile were to, say, penetrate the head which contains their CPU/bridge/CIC whatever the fuck he writes i don't care, then the ship girls die..enough said.

Also their eyes are a weakness, but then again it takes heavy caliber sniper rounds to destroy their eyes. Shipgirls in Ambulance are also vulnerable to EMP.....

That's the theory anyway, given how Hackyou is mixing up supernatural and tech with about as much sense as kindergarten student, don't take these rules seriously, they can and WILL be changed.

Now back to writing my fic, have a pleasant day and hope this answers your questions.

See, this here is just the problem: Most of the guys they faced in the 16 chapters @De3ta read, just had guns, which should have made any engagement a one sided slaughter without any need for cover. But instead the girls fumble around like they weren't designed to function in a fight and everyone seems scared of bullets even though they can't get hurt by them. This also makes Murakumo's magic shield completely idiotic as she doesn't need it when she's already immune to normal bullets.

There's just a real disconnect between what we are repeatedly told by the characters and what actually happens. I guess it's just another result of shitty writing.

Do not ask question kamerad, it's Hackyou logic, very stronk, very strange....iz danger to braincells like radiation.

It sounds like the old Superman deal: Back in the old days of the George Reeves series, bad guys would shoot at Superman and the bullets would bounce off. Then the gun would be empty and the bad guy would throw it and Superman would duck the gun! Same lack of thought.

If anyone else has further questions, then feel free to continue dropping them into the questionnaire. I will check on the doc once every few hours.

I ... I just can't.

There is so much wrong with that statement.

Is this what they mean when they say fractal wrongness?

Hey It's Admiral Reigns from Space Battles. Finally found a long version of this here. All I can say after reading the Tokyo got nuked during the US- Iranian war is

and this

I could imagine him laughing here for the amount of bullshit he put.

Oh and this for wtf . I would be the guy on the left in this picture

In all seriousness if you guys really want a true Fallout, Kantai Collection crossover, then check mine out on Space Battles.

Fallout/Kancolle crossover Fanfics, ideas and etc

Thanks to Sasahara, Sheo and Jabberwocky, I was inspired to start making a thread for it. Plus it's also meant for others who want to post fanfic stories, short or long and ideas of the Shipgirls in the Fallout verse.

I'll admit it's also a counter to Ambulance: I need brain bleach's story. Though not the best. Right now I'm trying to finish chapter 2 of the Far Harbor story I'm making.

Also wondering if I should post it here at SV.

Thanks. Which reminds me, gotta play Fallout 4 again and complete Far Harbor.

USS Democracy: Admiral, MS Azalea does not accept the gift of Atom. She fought me and I fell.

MS Azalea: She started it. I don't want my fairies being showered with radiation.

Stop you 2. I'm here now in this thread to read D3 reading Ambience and hey.... don't read it, that story is.... no....

USS Democracy: ATOM SHIELD ME, no, this does.... I'm tainted, Atom forgive me for I have sinned

MS Azalea: Come now, lets go home. I'm sorry also. My goodness what happened.

Trust me, you don't wanna know.

Azalea: Noted

USS Democracy: Atom, Atom, Atom....

Ambiance Questionnaire.
Helloooooooooooooooooo all! De3ta here! On tonight's special Reading...we don't read jack shit, we just take questions and shit about ambiance and have the Loremaster answer them.

Jimbo: So a bit of a breather, then?

R32: Yes

Jimbo: I remember reading on TVTropes that this was some sort of bizarre sequel to a Touhou fanfic? Where was the connection again? Seal Team Six? Or the so-called "Navitisium"?

R32: Both, but (try not to quote me on this as I haven't read "Naraku no Hana"), the latter is actually referred to as "Serenity" in that fic. Like I know exactly what it means…..

Jimbo: I suppose I may as well trudge through that one and do my own Let's Read. With blackjack! And hookers! And I haven't even gotten into 2hu.

Tavish: Can i be blunt on my questions?

R32: Yes

Tavish: How many shipgirls or any girls that has been "raped" throughout the story?

R32: Define "Raped"

Tavish: Implied, like Kisaragi case, or something. Just curious.

R32: Kisaragi, Murasame, Suzuya, Nagato, Chiyoda, and Takao, are the ones I know of off the top of my head.

Jimbo: Jesus...

Tavish: Um… Okay. Anyway, how many factions that are presents in the Ambience's world, anyway?

R32: Let's me count them all……..Damon's fleet, Mobile, Charlotte, Orlando, Little Rock, Nashville, Atlanta, USG, Franklin's coup faction, Whitewater, Rosa Cartel. And that's just North America. For Europe we have England, English Royalists, Inner Circle, and the two opposing parties of Germany, the Nationalist Democratic Party (NDP), and the Socialist Democratic Party (SDP). Also spoilers…..the Inner Circle is backing both the NDP in Germany, and the Rosa Cartel in Mexico, as well as provided 5 of the 6 Southern US factions with the methods to obtain their ship girls. The British PM finds out too late that he's been getting support from them as well, AFTER they tried to invade Britain earlier.

Tavish: So the ones like Nashville, Atlanta, etc are just a faction that only trying to survive the post apoc thingie, right?

R32: At first, but then with Atlanta at the helm, it joined forces with Nashville, Orlando, Charlotte and Little Rock.

Tavish: Also that you described above, they must be bandits place, right?

R32: No, but Orlando is nothing but a drug-producing hellhole.

Jimbo: Hmm… De3ta asked the thread if they want their questions answered. Nothing so far. Umm… How many shipgirls did the Feds have, again? When Blackwood had his little chat with Damon?

R32: Thirteen, when I counted.

Tavish: Speaking about Feds, they are those who torture the shipgirls to force them to join their ranks, right?

R32: Uh no, they simply had the codes and stuff to properly activate them. It's much less "torture" and more "Not being used for the purpose for which they were built, so all of them are just bored as fuck."

Tavish: But on tvtropes, i swear i see something about it.

Jimbo: I think that was the Southern factions that did the torturing.

Tavish: Huh, the dixies? Rednecks?

R32: Yep, the Dixies. Mobile is NOT part of this because after Baxter Harrison was rescued by Damon and his small band of girls while they were in the outskirts of Atlanta early in the story, he decides not to deal with Atlanta and stops trying to procure girls from them.

Tavish: Will the South lose?

R32: By the time Chapter 90 something or so rolls around, Mobile is the only one left standing. The five cities of the Coalition got rolled.

Jimbo: Damon uses idiotic blitz! It's super-effective!

R32: Well technically only…..Nashville and Atlanta got seriously rolled because those were the only two cities that put up any decent form of resistance against the fleet. In Charlotte, the damage was limited to the Charlotte Convention Center. In Orlando, the faction leader gets weak-kneed, after the fleet wrecks the tanks and LAVs he tries to send against them, and complies with the fleet's demands to hand over his girls before they shell the water purification systems to smithereens. In Little Rock, all the action was in the Arkansas State Capitol building.

Jimbo: And which girls did Orlando have?

Tavish: Did hackyuu ever described the kind of torture the coalitions do to the girls?

R32: Some of the fellow girls in captivity with them give second-hand accounts of it, but the fleet logs for the "victim" girls provide the full details. As for who Orlando had, lemme find a list…..

Tavish: Oh no, i don't wanna go looking at the fleet logs. Meh, i'll shall not ask.

R32: I'm gonna try and list the Orlando girls now: Takao, Chitose, Chiyoda, Shirayuki, Hatsuyuki, I-58.

Tavish: Are they hooked on drugs?

R32: No

Tavish: Huh. Weird. I mean you did say that Orlando is the drugs industry bonanza.

R32: Yes

I'M BACK!

" Kisaragi, Murasame, Suzuya, Nagato, Chiyoda, and Takao, "

OH FUCK WHY DID I COME BACK.

Okay so I know what was up with Murasame, Kisaragi, and Nagato. What happened to the other three?

R32: Suzuya was the "victim" of Little Rock, while Chiyoda and Takao were "victims" of Orlando.

I almost don't want to ask what that means, but explain what being a "Victim" entails while I vomit.

R32: I mentioned a while back that each faction selected one of their girls as their designated victim and did something to each of them to get their fellow girls to fall in line, and threatened to outright kill the victim should they fail to do so.

Again, one would think that death would be a preferable chance then what they had to go through for, as far as they knew, a long long time, but continue.

R32: Chitose was originally the victim for Orlando, but the faction leader got only as far as breaking her knees before Chiyoda took her sister's place, though he also had Takao on the side. Murasame, you know about that. Ayanami was Atlanta's "victim" and had her arms and legs lopped off…...

Oh jesus fucking christ…...

R32: JESU CHRISTO indeed. I don't recall what Nashville did to Arashio, but in Little Rock, Suzuya had her elbows and kneecaps busted and then subjected to solitary confinement via being chained to a wall in a dark cell. That friggin BROKE her to the point that after only four days, she was a broken record repeating "Kill me" over and over again. Not even the FLEET devs in Damon's fleet could mentally piece her back together.

Okay you know what fuck this, you all handle this I just….I can't hear anymore. I may actually go puke. Jesus chrsit…..

Jimbo: The number of FUBAR things that writer has flowing through his head…

Tavish: And you guys said Whiskey and i are much more FUBAR than him.

You? No, Whiskey? Yes. But he's nowhere near as bad even then. Yes I said i was leaving, I am too curious for my own good. How do you think I got this far?

When she was finally rescued and taken back to MAPS, her repairs alone took Benny almost the entire night, the night of Damon's funeral. In one word, Benny summed up the damages: BAAAAAAAAAAAAD. Benny had to fix so many disruptions and mutations in Suzuya's personality codex that he could've basically rewritten Suzuya's entire codex and still gotten the same result; in addition, her emotional parameters were so fucked up that he decided that the best course of action wasn't to attempt to fix them, but instead to delete them wholesale and simply rewrite them from scratch. Thanks to his dedicated efforts, Suzuya is now back to normal, back to the way she'd been just before she'd been deployed for America, during her initial activation period.

Almost.

Because what Benny didn't change or touch was her memory bank. Was it right for him to have tampered with it, even if her memories of Little Rock would do nothing for her but to haunt her for the rest of her life, like Kisaragi's own incident? Whatever the moral nightmare, Benny left it alone. Suzuya, whether she remembers exactly what had happened to her at Little Rock or not, can still sense remnants of the damage done. Her enthusiasm, once so jovial to the point of annoyance, is now extremely diluted. Her great toothy grins have shrunk to mere smiles of politeness, the kind of smile you'd get when you say hello to a passerby on the street, empty and made just for the sake of being nice. It's obvious to the former captives of Little Rock what had happened to Suzuya, and even though Suzuya has been trying to assure them that she's all better now, they aren't stupid or gullible. Suzuya has changed, and it's for the worse.

And Suzuya knows this herself.

Tavish: Poor Suzuya. But had to admit, i actually like sort of calm Suzuya instead of her KC self. But i am not liking that kind of treatment.

R32: The creepy thing? Her KC personality comes back at random intervals.

Tavish: So at one point, she can all silent like before suddenly went "SUZUYA'S HERE!" and then revert back to silent self.

R32: Something to that effect. The first instance of this is during the Germany op, specifically the assault on Tegel International Airport in Berlin, IIRC.

Guilop: Is there any definite answer to the toughness of the shipgirls. R32: That's pretty much on the ball, but just because small arms fire can't pen them doesn't mean they don't feel the impact. For example, when a brainwashed Shimakaze is let loose on Damon and co when they land on the football field of one of Atlanta's high schools, Murakumo empties the mag of her Desert Eagle into the back of Shimakaze's head to stun her long enough for Damon to draw his hacking blade and go to work. During the defense of Mobile, in the town of Evergreen, the Shiratsuyu-class girls come under concentrated small arms fire. Samidare and Suzukaze definitely felt the impacts of those.

Tavish: So, even if they can shrug off the bullets, they will still felt it? Like getting pelted with rocks or something and feeling sore afterwards?

R32: Yes.
