As far as i know, Gallants father bought the vial and Gallant himself knows nothing about the other services Cauldron offers.

Let's make an exception for Lisa. She needs to get away from Coil, and having Sherlock Holmes+/Inference.Engine would prevent another "this food is poisonous/will get you high as hell moment." Does anyone think we could grab Parian?
The Seamstress is another good choice for future colonist. Canvass for sails, general clothing once cotton or whatever the local equivalent is. A source of silk would be nice if she joins up. Also, Parian's a lesbian, so more shenanigans.
I'm just super uncomfortable with the concept of gatekeeping people based on their sexuality at all, honestly. Making Lisa into an 'exception' -as in a person who would not normally be accepted- based on her being an asexual, with her usefulness being the only reason she is helped, seems incredibly dangerous as a precedent.
Helping Amy by giving her a supportive environment to get flustered in and explore her repressed feelings is a lovely thing and a cute idea, and that's all I meant when I posted about it.

Any Flyer would be at least nearly as great, fire is great, but being able to quickly get around the island and to other islands would be great too.
Or anyone who can help her set up fishing, she's setting up an island society, fishing is at least as important as farming, and take much less setup to do.
Obviously, it's a Contessa plot that she found that particular fruit, at that particular time. It's all part of her path to better coffee.

Not necessarily. While flying would make her more mobile and therefore able to cover more ground. That's already covered pretty well by her drones and doesn't involve possibly risking living people if something dangerous is encountered. So while convenient a flyer isn't necessarily up there with Spitfire or Amy on the priority list. I would actually put Parian and Tattletale ahead of any flyers for their usefulness.
As for fishing, we run right back into Amy being a highly desirable immigrant. Because who knows how dangerous it is to eat any of the local aquatic fauna. Also Spitfire again shows up with cooking fires for any fish that prove edible. Yes Taylor can build a fire herself but Spitfire removes a lot of the tedious work getting a cooking fire started.

Amy is absolutely the best Immigrant Taylor could get, I'm disputing that Spitfires power is that high up in terms of usefulness not Amys, Spitfires power is convenient, but it's one that's relatively easily replaced with mundane tech, meaning it's very nice to have, but could be replaced(though with an inferior alternative) with a few extra thefts, a flyer would be at least as useful, because while Taylor have drones for scouting, they are no in fact all that useful for foraging, a flyer on the other hand, can actually get to the resources and bring them back.

Problem is Inference Engine is just that, an inference engine, not a magic divination tool. GIGO is in full effect, and it actually does need data points to begin with, it can't just look at a fruit and know its chemical composition.
After thinking on it a bit, I have to wonder how the PRT will take her accusation that Zenith caused her trigger and other assorted problems. The easiest solution to just put it down to drunken rambling, and toss things out. That later comes in to question when T keeps on that Zenith is the cause of her troubles.

Spitfire is more than her power. She's another pair of hands, a fairly friendly person, and a source of fresh social contact that Taylor desperately needs.
Also all of y'all are sleeping on her usefulness when it comes to fuelling mechanical/electrical things imo. XD
When Taylor gets around to steam pistons and other sources of power like thermal turbines Emily will be worth her weight in gold for heating boilers without needing to source costlier or dirtier fuels like coal.
Especially if we can use tinker-fu to reverse engineer fuel based on her super-napalm.

Dean, as far as we're aware, doesn't know about the Nemesis Program. He also has his own issues and hang-ups that mean he takes things in a not-always-reality-based manner. Like his Canon conclusion that Amy's into him instead of resenting him.
