Command: Modern Air & Naval Operations: Let's Play and Expansions

Do you have special forces guys that you can sneak in to blow up the radars or something?

Command has no innate landing capacity. To simulate a landing, you have to:
-Draw a reference point box around the landing area. Preferably a smaller box entirely on land as well.
-Stash Land Unit Y somewhere away from the action.
-Create an event where if Unit X enters the box, Unit Y is teleported to the land-box.

This has to be made by the scenario designer on a unit-by-unit basis, and isn't something you can do in the normal game.

My first-born son for any of the following:
  • Land Attack Cruise Missiles (500nmi range or more)
  • Extended range naval rifle
  • Electronic Attack aircraft
  • VLO (or even LO) strike aircraft
  • Short (or medium) range ballistic missiles
Literally anything to make this less bullshit than it is right now.
Do it. You know you want to.

Rafale with Scalp. You're really, really missing them now, huh?

Fire and Steel on the Med
Update:
In a series of unfortunate exchanges has resulted in a spiral of losses on my part. I'm up to 24 lost Typhoons, and all but 1 Harrier has been shot down. I've also lost several helicopters and Maritime Patrol Aircraft.

I've shot down over 90 F-16s at this point.

More importantly both of my flotillas are now moving into range to use naval gunfire; the northern one going after a cluster of coastal SAMs and nearby airbase, the southern one against a last remaining Greek SAG. I thought to break off the DDG with Standard missiles to go in and allow them to use their SAMs for anti-surface tasks and looked for it....
Pictured: my Standard missile slinger

I've mostly exhausted the missile inventories on both of my flotillas, the southern one much more severely (completely out of AShMs, LR/MR SAMs, I'm down to the short range self-defense missiles with around 40% of those left) the only reason I'm still pushing in is that I'm pretty sure they're out of missiles too. So I sail on to the point of decision. I expect the matter shall be settled at gun point...

So, would successfully putting Italy's naval aviation wing out of business feel like a much greater accomplishment if it wasn't under your command at the time?

So your carriers are basically useless at this point?
I dunno, he can still use them as decoys if the Greeks have any anti-ship missiles left! :V

Nah they still have their helos which I can use for ASW and AEW.

They don't.
For I have taken control over the waves of the Ionian Sea by Fire and Steel...

Both of my carriers have more kills with their 76mm guns than with their embarked airwings...

I'm speechless.

I want to snark, to have a witty retort, but I can't.

You just invalidated the Pacific War and caused massive headache for all military historians of the next few millenia, to the point that everyone will agree to say that the 2010s never happened at all.

Seriously... sending carriers in CLOSE-QUARTER BATTLE?!

The airwing consists of dinky Harriers with no standoff weapons better than Mavericks, so it's not like we're talking Nimitz alpha strikes here.

The lesson from this war will be obvious:

"Man, /fuck/ the Harrier."

:p

They should only have ~60 F-16's left by now.

Can you see the light at the end of the tunnel already?

I think we now know where the colonial got the idea for Battlestars.

Because if it works for Admiral poaw it should work against the Cylons. :p
