Come for the Raifus, Stay for the Plot: Girls' Frontline - Baking Time

More like Gladiators with no fairy commands. Would be nice if I could use the Twin fairy more than once in ten battles against them, that's for sure.

Day 3 of Advanced 3, completion 29%. We're doing worse than last go-around (we were at 33% after 2 days then).

Also, hmmm. +400% bonus on Elementary 4 yields 5.2k+Elite Enemy Score today. Comparable to if not better than a run of Advanced 3...

Probably due to a good chunk of people realizing that the HOC will be added to the general production and the realization that it's best use is movement point fodder.

Polarized Light and Theater at the same time huh. At least Critical Angle II works as a crate farm in chapter 1.

For context, CN had an identical bug that killed any attempts to do a full run of map 2 past turn 6. They changed the score mechanics but apparently didn't actually manage to fix the bugs in that map.

Finished Polarized Light (minus ranking, not sure if the fairy and special equipment is worth it) and even though the plot was cut short due to COVID it was a pretty solid plot that paid off the previous events.

"If". The "fight in the shade" bit was delivered to Xerxes I, Shahanshah of Iran.

Wow, this was the worst rate up I've ever had. Nearly 300K ammo and rations, over 600 T-Doll contracts, and no AK-15. I didn't even try for RPK, just AK-15 and all I have to show for it is a mountain of cores.

Apropos of nothing, I play a few more games on my phone. Sometimes they show ads. Normally, these ads are for legit local businesses that take orders online; gacha-ish games of variable quality; shady online slot simularos; and Raid: Shadow Legends. However, this last week or two, over half of these ads are about Girls Frontline. With segments from the Polarized Light trailer, and stuff.

Just a fact you might find curious.

I'll be doing ranking later, but I did mostly like Polarized Light.

I quite liked the parade of dolls we'd gotten to know of the story but had only mostly seen once. Those little bits with Ingram definitely made me smile for my happy little knife murderer. It did make me sad when she probably died, but that's good in it's own way, it shows even side characters are likeable and developed enough that I feel bad when bad things happen to them. Yeagor's death was pretty damn good, though I don't feel like that was followed through with, though that can be blame on Covid. Still, I have no idea what happened to Ange. And I think all of DEFY bought it, but I'm not sure, and M16's fate is another big question mark. I don't even know what's going on with the rest/what's left of SF. Beak didn't show up at all. And what's going on with K and the Commander and the Nyto-lings, plus UMP9 and G11- yeah things aren't wrapped up in the slightest.

But still, knowing that chapter 13 is P.L. part 2, this is all very good, assuming chp 13 does follow up on all this. So again, I did like the event. Was a bit easy, but I'll take too easy over too hard anyday.

Nyto-lings left me wanting to give them all headpats and cookies.
