I'm all for speculation and hypothesizing, but even then we're still lacking a lot of information to pad out theories with yet.

I mean, it's easy to say 'there's a reason why no one recognizes Ebon Power or isn't more aware of each other' but it's hard to make a well-reasoned hypothesis with just those two statements. Did magic, in general, leave the world and is just recently returning? Well, the existence of family based magical clan structures suggests otherwise. Why didn't the forces that beat the big EE not warn people of his possible return? Was it a mutual kill?

We have enough to ask a lot of pertinent questions, we don't yet have enough for a lot of pertinent conclusions. Hopefully, we change that sooner rather than later because theorizing and speculation are my bread and butter when it comes to quests.
My point still stands- bringing people's attention to a topic will invite more questions, which will bring more cannon info on said topic.
I agree with that we aren't yet able to answer any big questions, but smaller answers could be useful towards that goal as well.
I mean, a single question by Shadow!Jacob towards Asuka (or any other character we know of), like "Hey, you've seen some other paranormal stuff around here? Non-ninja that is?" could bring some valuable clues.

Then there are possible 'off-screen' conversations, that might as well have been omitted from normal updates.
We don't need to hear all banter between Jacob's friends, after all.
Yet it might prove useful, if someone wants to write an Omake about them.
By this I mean stuff like "Where does Roseline live? A house? A mansion? An apartment?"
Or, you know, suspicious family members/heirlooms.
(Yes, I know, they are all suspicious...)
@shibosho - I do have a few questions regarding MGs, especially wishes.
Hopefully it may have appeared in a hypothetical off-screen conversation:
-How does a girl make a wish? By this I mean what are the procedures here?
Do they hold them at gunpoint? Make them recite a previously written script to prevent last-second change?
I am going to assume there wasn't a two day preparatory course. :p Was there a course like that?
-Did Aestia mention wishes that were accepted or denied?
If so, what's the biggest, most reality-changing wish she heard of actually being accepted?
The two of you arrive at an abandoned building where the Haunt is meant to be. As expected, you can feel the sickening presence of the Wraith's Haunt in place. However, what you don't expect is to see an unfamiliar seal over your teammate's seal. This seal was different from the usual seals. Normally seals prevented and warded off normal people, keeping them safe while Magical Girls did their duty. However, the seal overwriting your teammate's seal was keeping you out as well.
Did Aestia mention anything about seals or how do they work?
As in, how programmable is it?
Does a normal, MG seal only keep normal people, or can it be more specific like keeping only young, or men, or specific people away?

curious do these ninjas have chakra and if so do they have OP bloodlines we can steal and wonder what will happen if we introduced the other magical girls to each other the company would hate us :D.

Chill. That kind of stuff will happen. Just gotta wait.

Ando lives in a japanese style mansion. Roselyn lives in a normal house with a large basement. Christina lives in a penthouse.

The girl makes a wish. They just say what they want and it is granted if it is reasonable. They don't get held up at gunpoint. The familiar granting the wish gets to choose if the wish granted is reasonable or not. If it is, wish granted. If not, try something else girl.
Aestia has not talked about wishes since they tend to be a private thing. She has heard rumours of the biggest most reality-changing wish she heard of actually being granted was a wish to save everyone during a major crisis that nearly ended the world. No-one knows who made the wish or what actually happened but the big bad at that time was defeated somehow and the world was saved at the last minute.

Seals are made to subtly force normal people away from a location. It does this by making a person remember that they have something urgent to do elsewhere, even if it's not all that important. They can't be made to target specific people. It's either everyone or no-one. Strong-minded people or those skilled in breaking such things aren't really affected by it much.

How powerful are the strongest beings in each faction and overall. To be more specific what is the max martial or piety one can have in this world?

I'm stoked for this story it keeps getting better. @shibosho does this mean that the entirety of our group of friends is involved in one genre of anime or another?

Oh wow, now this reminds me of another awesome quest in SB with a similar premise.

Time to be the obviously-oblivious-yet-actually-hella-skilled Secondary Character, of ALL STORIES, who has his own agenda and storyline.

... But can we pull it off? I mean, sure, that sounds humorously fun; but it also sounds rather difficult to pull off that implausible balance of "Nope, don't see/know shit." and "You just hat'en 'cuz I gutz madz skillz." :drevil: :ogles: LET'S GO FOR IT! :D :coolbeans:

Calling it now, that was Jacob's mother.

Hm... we probably could have foreseen Ando's connection to it if knew that one; if just for the obvious joke that because his home is in a Japanese style, he must be associated with ninjas.

Um... okay. Roselyn just so happens to have a large basement? I am smelling an exorcist there.
Christina might or might not be a non-Company Magical Girl, but I am not sure on that one.

On the Mother, no bet. On the basement, the exorcist teams seem to be able to do exorcisms out in the open, on the fly. No dedicated premises needed. The magicians on the other hand routinely perform rituals, in a singular location to take advantage of prior magical saturation. I'm still convinced Roselyn is a magician. And our next friend to discover her heritage that clone is going to be there when she finds out.

And watch her, in her hysterical state prove she's something of a Tsundere, on us, and just for comfort says "Screw It!" and kisses clone, whose mind shuts down and stands stalk still when she does, thus solidifying us as the romance-comedy relief paradigm in her story. That just happens to be able to kick ass, when she needs her tight one covered (and we finally start noticing that she does, in fact, have a nice one)

Those are all good points. Maybe I should have read the descriptions more carefully.

Is it possible to forcibly recruit the witch girls that escaped if we can find them?

We can certainly try to do that. However, this does come with a few drawbacks; the most important one would be losing our standing with the Company.
Of course, if we asked whether we can get a shot at... ahem... "resocialising them"... well, maybe?

We would not be open about it. I mean really. All else fails, we just drain them every now and then.

Or replace their hearts with Ebon constructs that we control, so that they need to obey or else.

While I do applaud the insinuation inherent in that comment/suggestion; sadly this isn't Questionable Questing. As such there isn't a NSFW board to move the thread to, if we did that. And we'd have to do things bordering on such to convince them given our shit diplo.

I'd assume that we'd have to find someone whom we can learn magic from first, and as a source of spells/magic books/ingredients. But other than that, I don't see why not, just gotta know whom to ask for it.

we have a in with a magic shop dude im sure he can point us to the online abyss shop that kinda looks like amazon we will have to pay him if we are upfront in our wanting to learn mindfuckery/slavemaking so i suggest saying we need equipment.

pfront in our wanting to learn mindfuckery/slavemaking
Nononono!

I said not that in my sentence where I was asking about the spell! I just wanted something that would make our words sound suggestible, not outright messing with people's minds or enslaving them! Even earlier in this quest I said a definitive no to that when experimenting with minds was an option.

but thats what we are doing getting spells and items to make us more likeable and people will do what we want subtle mindfuckery but still mindfuckery hell you could do it without spells just have really high charisma and smooth voice that sounds like you know what your doing.

Unless he's caught up on the times, which we didn't see any indication that he was; I'ma gonna guess he's going to stare at us like we're idiots when we ask if he knows a website that sells magical paraphernalia.

Mindfuckery or no.
