On one end, we're gonna be on a tight budget next week. But on the other hand...

In b4 we end up accidentally creating a 'Cute Overlord Mafia', complete with Gangsta Ruby plush gunning down many innocent criminals gangster style, while not doing mamamo tier antics on their life/corpses to be fed as sugar for Count Cuddles. :p

But seriously, at the rate we're going lucky, I'm just going to wait until 'Ebon' accidentally creates the perfect cover, to be more of a... 'Tuxedo Mask' lite rider/knight, hiding behind the fact he's possibly a (pragmatic) Villain or Black Knight/Ebon Champion in rising. And possibly even employing tactical kindness under future/possible Dark Magical Girls in the making/horizon.

... But seriously, if we play the long game, I'm more worried on how long until likely harem/cute comedy shennigans at hand, may end up offsetting a possible Childhood Heroine in making, from ever connecting the dots that we'd be fated to be in conflict...

... Especially, if in future we apply the philosophy of one Hank Scorpio in hand... Except maybe that'd totally not end up becoming a popular student among many 'transfer students', which in turn can elect suspicion again. Hmm...

Short term, pushing our way into the Company's local talent, likely via the ability to consume their Fallout when in critical circumstances, is probably our best bet. From there, well, we are basically saving their lives, and with the network of spies that were just made we could possibly try and choke off their supply of 'natural' cure... Although that would make their bosses slightly unhappy, so there's that.

On the Home Front by DaLintyGuy (Canon)(+15)
On the Home Front

Being alive was nice. Far better than the alternative, of course, but it also allowed every other option as well. For example, being the captain of the home guard. Not the worst of tasks, even if it did result in very little opportunity for independent action.
Still beat remaining as an inanimate object.

A quick arm gesture at the Golem watching the hallway got a negatory response and he rose to his feet and surveyed the room. One of the disadvantages of being animate: he was fully cognizant of being a girl's toy. But, with the layout of the room confirmed he made his way to the edge of the bed and dropped to the floor.

"Hey, think you can go find Trans for me?" He asked the sentry Golem, checking his hands with distaste and flapping one in the hope of dislodging some of the wax that stuck to it from a late night drawing session.

"Yes!" The enchanted book took to the air, almost immediately winging out of view from where he stood. With that taken care of, he walked out of the room and out into the hallway in search of the bathroom. Might as well see what the damage was...

At least the complement he had been left to accomplish his duties was acceptable. An old lamp served as the main hitting power of the group, with a cutting bite. A handful of cards had spears, of a sort, and then there was him and Trans. Against any mundane intruder it was adequate. If it was anything more, well...

"You asked for me?" Trans leaned against a door frame, crossing his over sized hands in front of him in an approximation of folding his arms. Made up of the screens of his base form, the hands had equally oversized fingers while his core body and legs were quite spindly. The head looked about like one would expect it to, using the status lights for eyes on an almost hatchet like head.

"Yeah, I did." Fury nodded genially. "Where were you? I was expecting to have to wait a few more minutes until you could crawl out of hiding."

"You'd be surprised how easily you can keep away from human attention just by hiding under the couch." Trans opined, before unfolding his hands and standing to attention. "You want the report, then?"

"Of course." Fury affirmed, before scowling down at himself once more.

Out of respect, the other Golem declined to comment on that fact. "The younger sister is planning a sleepover during Friday night, while everyone else is following their routines within acceptable tolerances. However, there is a twenty three percent chance that the brother will be attending the opening of a new club Tuesday night. Should I take any action?"

"No, let him do what he wants." Fury waved an arm to brush the statement aside. "Nothing else?"

"Negative."

"Good." Fury looked down over himself. "...What's the damage?"

One of Trans' eyes brightened. "Approximately one percent of your body is covered in pigmented wax, one third each blue, yellow, and red. Some of which is already flaking off."

"Disgusting stuff." Fury delicately brushed his shoulder off, sending loose flakes to the floor, where a short pulse of Energy caused it to gather into one small lump. "Have one of the Cards deal with that, would you?"

"Yes, sir." Trans looked around. "Will that be all?"

"For now. Clone should be getting home soon, so I expect we'll have something to do for him at that point." Fury turned and made his way back to the bedroom he had emerged from.

I can't decide whether it would be more amusing to have us both ignorant of the others ID, or for us to figure out our friends ID when they begin to oppose us.

This is an amazingly awesome quest. I especially like how despite the urban fantasy feel to it, there are parts that hint at horror lurking beneath. Like Jacob's complete lack of a reaction at killing that one thug, how the thought of keeping them prisoner and the using them in his experiments doesn't cross his mind at all, and that last line "You no longer fear dying." is pretty spine-chilling in its implications for Jacob's future development.

Yeah, that's kind of why I don't really want for us to develop the skill of mind control. I'd rather he remain villainous without becoming completely immoral.

Week 3 Interlude - Big Damn Heroes Plus Ebon
Week 3 Interlude

Your name is Aestia Creed and you've just finished arranging a meeting between your friends and a mysterious dark stranger. Your friends had been worried sick about you since you drop out of contact a week ago. It couldn't be helped though. You couldn't allow your friends to get involved with Ebon until you were sure that he wasn't a danger to them, despite the fact that he saved your life.

However, the only reason why he had been able to save you was that he had ripped apart the seal that prevents innocents from stumbling into a Wraith's Haunt by accident. Not only that, he was terrifyingly strong. The Wraith you had fought was normally something that even a squad would have been leery about taking on yet Ebon had destroyed it like it was nothing. Just that alone was enough to raise your alarms. A veteran might have been able to do the same but it's what happened to the Void Seed afterwards that really made you worried.

You don't know how or why but when Ebon defeated the Wraith, the Void Seed turned to dust, making it completely useless. Every void seed was a valuable asset to a magical girl and know that someone might be capable of destroying them was a horrible thing to contemplate. However, the real kicker surrounding Ebon wasn't his strength but rather his ability to absorb and convert any type of energy to a different kind. Never in your wildest dream did you expect Ebon to be capable of absorbing Fallout.

Fallout had been a necessary risk for every magical girl. You had magic that was capable of breaking the rules of physics and according to Ranbey, your squad's familiar, the world absolutely despised magic. Fallout was the result of the world's hatred for magic, and with every instance of magic used Fallout would only grow within you. The moment the body couldn't handle any more Fallout, it meant destruction for the magical girl, one way or another.

A Fallout meltdown would either cause a magical girl to go on a berserker rampage, cause their magic to go completely out of control, or in the worst case, transform them into a Wraith themselves as punishment for trying to break the limits of magic. You've seen it happened before to a senpai. It was horrible and you never wanted to see it ever happen again, least of all to yourself. It was why you had desperately tried to fight something above your rank and it was also why you needed to gain Ebon's trust.

If Ebon could cleanse the Fallout in a Magical Girl, then not only could they use magic more freely, but they wouldn't have to worry about the risks that Fallout brought. You had been on the verge of a meltdown yet Ebon had made all your Fallout disappear in mere seconds. He even helped heal your wounds though replacing your arm took nearly a week. It was thanks to this that you believed that Ebon was someone who would be vital to the continued operations that Magical Girls undertook to protect this world and its people from the depravities of Wraiths.

If Magical Girls didn't have to worry about going out of control or getting hurt too badly, then more people would be saved. After all, saving people is part of the reason why you're a magical girl.

That why you had to hope that Ebon was not some evil monster pretending to be your friend in order to destroy the Company. He had restored your arm after several days of research and examinations. Despite the fact that your new arm was just a mirror copy of your right arm but it moved and felt like your original arm like you never lost it at all in the first place. Even if it did turn into some freaky black metal.

There was other stuff as well such as his ever watchful army of shadow creatures that tended to your needs but were otherwise Ebon's loyal servants, his ability to make food using his powers, whatever they were, and his claim that he can absorb negative emotions.

Ebon was someone that couldn't be ignored. And the only way you knew how to deal with your situation was allowing him to meet the others. By yourself, you had nothing to use against Ebon. However, with your friends by your side, you'll be able to stand on equal grounds with Ebon. Then maybe you can learn more about the guy who saved your life.

You just hope that Ebon isn't an evil villainous magician that his appearance otherwise suggests.

= = = = = =

The agreed meeting place was an eatery which you and your friends hung out often. It was one of the Company's fronts and the staff members were all Company Agents, meaning if anything bad was to suddenly happen like say a rogue magical girl was to show, they would be able to handle it. They were all trained professionals who were capable of taking down the average magical girl.

Unfortunately, Ebon could not be thought of as the average magical girl.

"Huh, no-one's giving a shit about my appearance. Not only that, everyone's got some magic power and combat experience. Neat." Ebon noted with mild interest before taking a seat and calling a waiter over to order a milkshake. The Agents around him stiffened ever so slightly for a moment before resume their charade.

You had been expecting Ebon to put on some disguise or maybe change out of his dark shadowy being for something more human. He hadn't. You're sure that the only reason the Staff didn't panic at the sight of him was that you had forewarned them that you were bringing him here. You really should have asked him to at least wear that made him look...not shady and evil. It was also apparent that Ebon didn't even see the Company Agents surrounding him as a threat. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. He then suddenly asked you a question, snapping out of your thoughts. "So…When were your friends meant to show up?"

Your eyes widen in surprise when you realised that you'd arranged things so that your friends would be here before you and Ebon arrived. Considering who led your squad, they should have been at least an hour ago. Something was wrong. No, you can't think that way. Gotta stay positive. Your friends might just be caught in traffic and are coming in late. No need to worry.

By the time Ebon and you finish both your orders of drinks and ice cream, your friends still haven't arrived. Okay, something was definitely wrong. Your suspicions are confirmed when Ebon asks for the bill, obviously getting fed up with waiting, and the waitress brings both the bill and a message in Company Code for you. Skimming the message quickly, your eyes widen in horror as something that you hadn't planned fall has happened.

Your friends decided to take on a low-level Wraith threat on their way here to kill time. However, an unknown third-party had interfered and currently, they were in combat with this third party and unable to retreat. One of your teammates has been badly injured and it won't be long before whatever safety zone they have been able to erect in the Wraith's Haunt falls.

This information only came in mere minutes ago which means you still have time to save them. The Haunt's location isn't too far away from where you are right now. If you hurry, you'd be able to get there in less than a minute. But you can't possibly do it alone. Other squads would take too long arrive. Agents aren't able to perceive or enter Haunts. There's only one person that can help you now.

You proceed to briefly explain the situation to Ebon. "Alright, I'll help. Lead the way."

You let out a breath of relief that you hadn't realised you had been holding.

Alright, time to save the day!

= = = = = = = =

The two of you arrive at an abandoned building where the Haunt is meant to be. As expected, you can feel the sickening presence of the Wraith's Haunt in place. However, what you don't expect is to see an unfamiliar seal over your teammate's seal. This seal was different from the usual seals. Normally seals prevented and warded off normal people, keeping them safe while Magical Girls did their duty. However, the seal overwriting your teammate's seal was keeping you out as well.

You have no experience with something like this. It wasn't something that was covered in orientation and training. While a seal could be forcibly unlocked by another, it was akin to figuring out a twenty digit password in which symbols, lower and upper case letters, numbers and even alphabets of other languages, without a single clue. You could cheat with your powers to a degree but that still meant hours of concentration and work.

Luckily for you, Ebon doesn't follow the same rules as you and other magical girls.

He simply looks at the seal for a few moments before stepping right through it. The seals are ripped apart, like spiderwebs being destroyed as a large lumber beast simply plows through them without paying a single mote of attention to them. You knew that he could break through seals but you hadn't expected Ebon to simply break them by touching them.

"Oi, you coming or not?" Ebon asks before fully disappearing into the Haunt. Slapping your cheeks to get your head back into the game, you step right on through. Entering the Haunt, you take a moment to evaluate its appearance. With the base being an abandoned hotel, the form the Haunt takes is, to your displeasure, an entire city block of overly garish love hotels. Deciding to continue on straight ahead, you almost bump into Ebon who stopped for some reason. "Hey, are these guys friends of yours?"

You look to see a trio of what looks like man-sized teddy bears. However, as they approach, large sharp-looking claws pop out from the ends of their arms and you see in their mouths a lamprey-like ring of drooling fangs.

"Kuma~" You've never seen anything like them before. There have been Wraiths in the past that were capable of creating their own minions or splitting off parts of themselves to act as a separate entity but they were all easily identifiable as being Wraiths. These things, however, felt completely different to Wraiths, in fact, you were sure that these things were something else altogether. The message had mentioned a third party attacking your friends. Are these things with this third party?

No time to think about it too much though. You don't like the look of those claws. Time to Magic Up.

Transforming into your magical girl form is almost like flipping a switch in your soul. The moment you flip that switch, everything changes. Power erupts around you, appearing as a blazing inferno. Your clothes burn away as your power begins to exert itself upon your body. Flames wrap around your body and flashes into your battle uniform. Your scythe appears above you in a burst of flames and drops into your waiting hands. With a swing of your weapon, you blow away the flames, revealing your transformed self to the world.

And you find Ebon standing idly as he flicks the gunk on his sword off, surrounded by the chopped up pieces of those creatures that were already turning into motes of light. "Oh, so that what magical girl transformations looks like in real life," Ebon comments casually, lifting his sword up to check for any more stains.

Did Ebon just kill all three monster teddy bears while you were transforming?! Your transformation only takes at most ten seconds from an outside perspective! You're reminded of Ebon's combat prowess and can't decide whether this is a good thing or not.

"Come on, I can feel more presences in this place in that direction," Ebon stated, pointing to a street ahead of the two of you before dashing towards it.

"Hey! Don't leave me behind!" You cry out, surprised by how fast Ebon was moving. Even though he wasn't flying, he was just as fast as you in the air while running on the ground. You follow your benefactor down the streets of love hotels, doing your best to ignore the rather lewd billboards and advertisements for adult services that were plastered on almost every wall. That's when you hear it. Gunfire. "We're nearly there!"

Ebon simply nods in recognition of your words before going even faster.

"Shit!" You let out a swear as you push yourself to match his speed. So focused are you on keeping up with Ebon, you barely even notice the other monster plushies that appeared to block Ebon's way only for him to near-instantaneously cut them up into pieces. Seconds later, you arrive at the building where your friends have been holding out in against the leaders of those monster plushies. A large barrier covers the ground floor of the building where you see three of your teammates inside returning fire against five other figures standing on top of a giant winged plushie monster.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! You can do better than that! Frost Fractal! If you don't find a way to defeat us, your little friend isn't gonna make it~! So bring out the big guns so I can blast them all to kingdom come!" The lead figure among the five shouted out. The five figures were all girls around the same age as yourself. Each one looked like a magical girl except twisted and corrupted through a dark mirror.

Your blood goes cold when you realise who the enemy is.

Witches.

Magical Girls who have somehow taken on some of the twisted power of the Wraiths. To take on the essence of the Wraith was not something that was easily done. And those that did so were irreversibly changed forever. Witches, regardless of their reasons for making the choice, would inevitably find their minds corrupted and twisted towards bringing others pain and suffering, and death and destruction in order to fuel their corrupted abilities.

With the power of a magical girl and the intelligence of a human combined with the instincts and destructive impulses of a Wraith and the limiter removed from their powers, Witches were a foe that could not be taken lightly. Whereas Wraith hid within their Haunts, Witches were a part of the world and could strike in ways that Wraiths never could.

This was bad. Very bad.

A single Witch would require a full squad of magical girls to take down. It was thanks to Frost Fractal, the veteran leader of your squad that your team had managed to last this long against three Witches. You're now certain that those monster plushies was some kind of new creation by the Witches. The implications of Witches using minions now though was not good.

At any rate, if you didn't do something quickly, the barrier would fall and...You don't want to even think about what would happen to friends.

"Oh? Looks like we have company. How strange? I was certain that the seal would have kept anyone from joining our little party." And Witches have noticed that you're here. There goes a chance for a sneak attack. "Well, not like another Company dog could change the ending. I suppose we should greet them properly though! Girls, fire!" The enemy aims their weapons towards you but you're already started evasive maneuvers. Bullets tainted by dark powers fly by you as you dodge them by the narrowest margins. Buildings that you fly pass are perforated and destroyed by the deluge of bullets following your trail.

This amount of sustained firepower was not possible for even a full squad of magical girls. However, while you're flying in the air, you've also realised one thing. The enemy hasn't noticed Ebon.

"Alleyoop!" You're snapped out of your thoughts by Ebon's exclamation as he decides to make his presence known to the Witches.

The black metal spear that he had created launches forth from his hand with a loud crack as the sound barrier was broken. The spear flies towards the head of the witches' steed and a barrier appears just a mere meter away from the flesh to block the spear. The spear stops for against the barrier but you can see cracks where the spear has struck. Your enemy stops firing to see what just tried to attack them, allowing you to turn and take proper stock of what Ebon was doing.

He stood in a ring of black spears and without stopping, began to grab and throw each spear one after the other at the Witches. The flying plushie dragon's barrier stops the first five spears before its barrier breaks and it meets death via a volley of supersonic spears. The Witches abandon their steed as it falls, dissolving into motes of light, and take to the air themselves, no doubt shocked by the destruction of their monstrous creature.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" The youngest looking witch screams out in disbelief.

"H-How!? That demise beast was one of our strongest ones!" The witch wearing glasses said, her voice quavering in fear.

"YOU!" The leader of the witches points towards Ebon, having momentarily forgotten your existence. "Who the fuck are you!?" She demanded.

Ebon simply creates more spears in response and heft another one over his shoulder before answer. "Just a guy who's tired of waiting for those girls you've been trying to kill to show up for a meeting." The answer confuses the Witches for a moment and Ebon took full advantage of it. "ORYAAH!"

"FUCKER!" The witches find themselves having to dodge the black spears that Ebon was throwing at them, their barriers only barely allowing them time to avoid the implements of death. Meanwhile, you take advantage of the distraction to reunite with your team. Moving through the barrier that was set to allow only team members to move through, you land in front of your team.

"I'm back everyone." You announce to the magical girls before you.

Anything else you wanted to say is interrupted by the youngest member of your team, Tio Ackerman AKA Break Geode. If you weren't in your transformed state, you're sure that several of your ribs and probably your spine would have been broken by Tio's bearhug.

"Aestia! I've never been so happy to see you as much as I do right now and where the HELL have you been this entire week!?" Tio demanded as she switched from hugging you to shaking you for answers. "Do you know how worried we were when you disappear last week!? Do you? DO YOU!?" Saying that Tio was not pleased with your week long absence is an understatement.

"Tio! Calm down!" Another teammate intervenes in time to prevent the contents of your stomach from spilling out. Tio realises what she's doing and drops you on the ground while apologising. "Hey, Aesty. You doing okay?" Mikki Crewe AKA Astra Force asks as she helped you up. She was your friend from school and the one who helped you through the transition period after you made the contract. "Seriously though, where have you been?"

"I've been slumming it up with tall dark and mysterious outside." You quipped, getting a snort from your friend. "Honestly though, I've been spending the last week recovering after I messed up big time."

"We know. We found what was left of your arm." Mikki explained. You cringed, imagining how the others felt when they found the burnt bloody remains of your left arm. No doubt they thought you were dying or worse and it was only your continued absence from the LIST that kept them from believing you were dead.

"Sorry. It's been a weird week for me."

"I could say the same. Come on, I don't know how long your friend can keep those Witches busy but Wynter got hit badly and needs medical attention soon or else." Reminded of the situation, you look around the room that your friends had holed up in and spot the unconscious form of Wynter Brewers also known as Sky Rapture on the bed. She had been bandaged up but they were soaked in blood. It was only thanks to her magically enhanced constitution that Wynter was still alive.

"Understood." You flip the mental switch from normal school girl to magically powered soldier. You turn to your squad captain who had been silent while you spoke with the others. The barrier protecting everyone was also the work of your leader. "Assault Blaze reporting for duty, Captain Frost Fractal! Sorry for my absence for the last week. Currently, an allied mage is acting as a decoy to distract the enemy units. What are your orders, captain!"

A brief look of relief flashes across the face of Glacie Kaiser AKA Frost Fractal, your squad leader and veteran magical girl, before she shifts back into her usual cold expression. "Everyone, we shall proceed with extraction. Our main objectives are to get Sky Rapture out of the Haunt so that she can receive medical attention ASAP while receiving no further casualties. While Geode and Astra are transporting the VIP, Blaze and I shall join up with Blaze's ally and draw the Witches' attention. Once Geode and Astra have reached the extraction point, the rest of up will join you. I will leave the means to accomplishing these objectives to your discretion. Are these orders clear?"

"What if the Witches have already left?"

"Well then we have a - wait what?" You and your team turn to see Ebon leaning against the wall. He gives everyone a wave and throws something at you. "...I take it you're Ebon, the mage that's been taking care of Aestia for the last week?"

"That's me!" Ebon gave Glacie a thumbs up before pointing outside. You and the others look to where he was pointing and could only stare in shock at what you see.

Much of the area had been devastated. A number of rapidly dissolving demon plushies were strewn all over the place. Dozens of black swords and spears had also been scattered all around the area as well. An arm and leg had been propped up by several spears in the middle of the street. Of the Witches, there were no signs of them.

"...Holy shit. Your buddy scared the Witches off!" Tio exclaimed in awe.

"And killed the Wraith." Ebon mentions before tossing a black diamond shaped gem at you. A Void Seed. As soon as you realise this fact, the entire area starts to shake as cracks begin spreading through everything. With the sound of glass breaking, you and the others find themselves in front of the abandoned hotel. Returning to the real world was always disorienting and none of you could stop Ebon as he wandered over to Wynter's side and placed his hand on her. Wynter let out a gasp and you could see her wounds heal before your very eyes. Satisfied that Wynter wasn't going to die, Ebon stood back up and turned to address you all. "Alright, who needs a cleansing?"

"Huh? Well, I could do with one but - GAH! Cold!" Ebon had grabbed Tio as soon as she had said that and you watch as Ebon demonstrated first hand his ability to absorb Fallout. When he was finished, Tio looked a lot perkier and energetic. "Woah, that's a thing. A really good thing!"

"Alright, who's next?" Ebon asked.

Before anyone could answer though, there was a pop and a block sphere appeared in the middle of your group before it broke apart revealing none other than Glacie's Familiar, Ranbey.

"Motherfucking freedom, baby! Now where the fuck are those bitches!? I've got a score to...wait. Did I miss everything and Jumpin Jalapenos! Who the heck are you!?"

"...The guy who can eat Fallout?"

"WHAT?! You're the guy Aesty was talking about!? Not cool! The Company need Fallout so that Void Gems can become Void Stars! And you totally look super shady! You're definitely doing suspicious shady evil things with Fallout, aren't you!"

"Wait, what? Hell no! And what the hell is a Void Star?"

"It's what we use to grant wishes and make new magical girls! Now stop eating up Fallout, Villain!"

"No way. Fallout is full of energy needed to help me grow. You should leave the Fallout to me."

"Fuck you! We're protecting the city from Wraiths and despair! You stop!"

"No you!"

"YOU!"

You groaned and palm your face. Still, you couldn't help smiling as Ebon began to argue with Ranbey over who should get Fallout. You'd heard the rumours of how A Void Gem was needed by the Company to create new magical girls and grant wishes but you didn't imagine you'll find out like this. Plus it seems your teammates had a good impression of Ebon at least.

There was a lot more you wanted to know about Ebon and you wanted to be his friend. Not only has he saved you but he saved your team as well. Even if the Company needed Fallout, it shouldn't be too much trouble if they let Ebon do some cleansing when there was a shortage in Void Seeds, right?

...

Reward: Very favourable first impression with the Company. +100 Ebon Power Income gained. Relationship with Aestia Creed, Magical Girl Assault Blaze increased. New information about the Company gained. 1000 Ebon Power Gained.

AN: Sorry for the wait. Had a project due. Also, Team Aestia rolled poorly resulting them in getting ganked by Witches on the way to the meeting. Information about the Company will be coming up soonish so keep watch. I'll get to the other thread later tonight or tomorrow.

On one hand- I was expecting a Kyubey clone, on the other hand- oh thank god we don't have to deal with a Kyubey clone.

I'm a bit surprised, I would have suspected the Company might have had some knowledge on the Ebon Emperor (I was under the impression he was the biggest bad around last time his agents were loose) and it's not like Jacob's current alias and powerset don't give that impression.

Although... I suppose it's possible Ebon Steel is much less known and that previous Ebon Agents didn't cheat their way through life by abusing the shit out of it.

But all that said- I kinda love how you gave insight into Jacob's relative power compared to the other supernatural people we've seen running around. It does a great job of driving home what Jake's 35 martial actually means, and that even early on as we are we're still a big player in a tiny pond.

With all this extra Ebon power we've been getting we really got to do some research~. One more thing, what's our current EP production per?

Well I haven't made it obvious but there are hidden traits that also increases Jacob's martial based on his other stats.

And most importantly! We probably have enough Ebon Power to try and make an ES Golem! Yes! I am insisting we do my incredibly expensive pet project regardless of anything else! Don't you want elite 'mooks' that are total combat monsters in addition to being useful lieutenants?

I kind of figured considering Jacob has an engineering background and access to on demand materials that would make CNT green with envy- there's more to his actual threat level than just his martial score. And it would be just weird if Jacob didn't have some kind of piety converter all things considered.

Jacob's memo for Week 4
- Make a magical gun that convert captured Ebon Power to ammunitions. Prefered type: Hellfire and Corrosive rounds
- Make a magical transformer, capable of converting emotional to Ebon power
- Woo Creed and her friends

Hahahaha, I love that "What if the Witches have all ready left?" :lol

And that's quite a EP haul, both in a lump sum and income increase! :D

It's interesting that there are Dark Magical Girl versions of Aestia's type, though I'm not sure if they're stable enough mentally to work with.

Oh! They'll be good test subjects to see if we can reverse such transformations, possibly once we do that Stewardship action to learn more about those extra energy sources people have.

And... what if we have both (normal) Magical Girls and Dark Magical Girls as our... employees? The first batch can help us in Diplomacy and maintaining order with the more normal side of the population, and the (reformed) Dark MG as our bodyguards and spies? We are the pragmatic guy, so it is do-able, right?

Still, having 10+ ~13 MGs in our employment will be a headache, imagine them asking us to go shopping with them...
