Given how Alaska calls her the shipgirl version of God, it is likely her (Jane's) involvement is actively sought as almost a form of blessing.
I'm rusty as hell, but, lemme try...Adorable as this is, can anyone translate for the non-Japanese speaker/reader?
I think the bottom left is supposed to be 'Event', so I'm going to bet they were drops from or during an in-game event.I'm rusty as hell, but, lemme try...
Bottom Right: "Nagato--doko----" (Natago, where?)
Bottom Left: "Ibentozo[blurry kanji]-ta" (dunno)
Middle Right, Top Left: [Kanji I can't read]
Top Right: "Mata watashi ga [Kanji I can't read] echimatta" (Of course, I (kaji verb, past tense))
Forgive me, my last Japanese class was 2001.
Well, Ari is going to want to keep an eye on her daughter, so it kinda makes sense. It says something about her, I think, that at least two shipgirls (Arizona and New Jersey) have internally expressed a desire to live long enough to serve under the next Admiral Richardson.

Jane: Moooom, I'm sixty-five. I can do my own hair.
Arizona: I don't see you trying to get away little missy.
Jane: ...can you put it in a braid?
Arizona: *smiles* Of course.
Jane already has knowledge of a rather colorful vocabulary. She just refrains from using it because she knows her parents (Richardson especially) don't want her to use such language. At her age at least.
Richardson is also in a bit of denial about her knowing how to swear.

A master sailor knows how to curse and swear and not resort to either profanity or vulgarity. I got chewed out by one of my bosses at one point, he was an ex Marine. he went for fifteen minutes without once repeating himself or descending to 'curse words'. And then he finished it up with a "are we FUCKING clear?!" and I swear I jumped a meter.

When i was younger my parents tried VERY hard to limit my exposure to curse words. They failed utterly as i could swear like a marine corps DI by the time i was 6.. Mostly because i spent more time in the cab of a kenworth prime mover than i did in school for reasons I wont get intoWell, all of this is very normal for 9-year-olds, and their parents. The kids might not really understand what all the curse words mean, but they know them. Especially in this day and age of hyperviolent filthymouth crap on the internet, movies, and TV. The parents don't want to deal with trying to control the child's vocabulary, so long as it is not used excessively or at very bad times.
Maybe a corgi...You wanna know what I think would be supremely cute? Having Shinano be given a puppy to play with. Give the the support carrier whose got self confidence issues something that loves her unconditionally
I think it'd do her a lot of good.
