Cage/lattice masts are quite common, yes. Lexington is similar to Colorado in placement. Just bigger.

(Once again. Chill thread is chill and it's sssooooooooooo nice.)

You know, it's likely that Sara's Bully-Cruiser form is going to be kind of weird. Mostly seeing as it never existed, and will have to be drawn up from revised plans, and potentially desires from her crew. So that could leave her with things like getting the stack off her carrier form, adjusted and, err, 'expanded' upperworks for the purposes of more anti-air, and trying to borrow Wiskey's rangefinders before she got out of the underworld, and maybe her pilot compliment trying to fit as many floatplanes aboard as they can.

The Lexington-class had completed Detail Design. She's pretty much an as-designed Lexington-class battlecruiser.

Kyte tends to have that effect, yes. Oh well. Let the chillness remain.

Yup. Chill is best.

And on that note, since I'm on mobile (playing Sniper Elite is surprisingly good stress relief) and thus can't post cutes...

Anyone actually guessed what my favorite BBs are yet? Since I've been teasing that off and on while I try to figure out how to introduce them.

Well, we all know Hindy is your favorite CC.

Favorite BBs? They're Brits, right?

Seydlitz is my favorite CC, actually. Hindy just made more sense as The First from a story perspective.

And nope. Not British.

Since I'm on mobile and thus can't readily link images...let's use this instead.

I have said before (at great length even) that I consider them the best non-Iowa BBs of the War. For what they were designed to do.

That looks honestly more like a swimsuit than a shirt in basic design, to me. It appears backless, no sleeves, and basically connects the collar to the corset thing.

If you're willing to sacrifice in some areas that matter a lot, a girl that large can do some marvellous things. I've done parts that are similar to that- the trick is the bit around the neck is only there for show.

You want "fun" costume item? Sarashis. Fuck those all the way back to the Home Islands.
