But that all changed when shipgirls returned. For the very first time, warships could enjoy laying on the beech and basking in the sun. They could smile at the sensation of sand grains against their hull, and soak in the warm rays.
Actually, no, that wasn't accurate. Currently, Atago was laying on a pristine white beech in a baby-blue bikini her best friend Alaska had picked out. The heavy cruiser's long blond hair splayed our around her like a shimmering bow-shock. Her pale skin was just starting to soak up a proper sun kissed tan, and her lips were set in a goofy smile.
"Boy," Atago waved her hand down the beech.

"Right," Alaska nodded with determined purpose, bounced up to her feet, and starting loping down the beech with that distinctive Alaska gait where it was never quite clear if she was in control or not.
My inner spelling police seems to be moving faster than my inner grammar nazi right now.

I did notice that in the confusion of the Hoppo-chan operation, people missed Jersey's launching day: December 7th, 1942.

She might not be very willing to celebrate that though.

On the contrary, I find it hilarious.

It's actually really fun to do. You haven't enjoyed yourself properly until you've literally shook your fist at the sky cursing a man's seventh grandfather over shipping ships on the internet.

I went something like this:

JMPer: *Shipping intensifies, shipping intensifies, aaaaaand boys.*

Me: *snorts* HA! As if. Nice try, but I can tell when someone is trying to yank my chain on the 'net. Boys! As if...

That reminds me... I need to do Silencio style shipping chart for BelBat one of these days...
Yes, yes you do. Jane will help.

And have doodletimes because Iron returns from conference with sketches instead of story. =/

These were on SB, but I was lazy.

Have him build a new PC for Naka, problem solved.

RIP 3-way and 4-way SLI for gaming, you will not be missed.

The majority of gamers don't even need, or afford 4 GPU's for gaming anyway, and most games aren't really optimized for them either.

Naka though... I imagine she'll do it just for the hell of it as she shows it off to her fans.

I have saved the AO3 chapters up to 84 and yet I'm getting confused since the one here in sufficient velocity only have up to chap 59 and yet it didn't match up with the chapter 59 in AO3. And thus I'm wondering where is the point of divergence?

Now I'm really curious as to what the story of Tenryuu explaining something to whoever has the bucket on their head is.

The one on AO3 ends Here, because I couldn't be bothered to keep updating it after that. AO3 eats my formatting. The FF.net link is more or less up to speed though.

Yeah. I update it with JMP and Old Irons chapters regularly. Don't do Skywalker's though because he started so late...

If nothing else, just pile it all on the end. It's not chronologically bound yet. (Though I think that's gonna change at some point.)

To be fair, while the Eurobotes stuff jumps around in timeline a lot (by virtue of the wide focus) the Tiger bits were always intended to be more or less in-line with the main plot.

And the main Euro story should merge once Bisko's shows herself.

I know you can do better, so saying 'it's literally bad fan service, that's how its supposed to be' is no excuse. It's even worse! You give every cuddle, lusty aside look, and sex joke a good, IC reason to exist. Taffy and White love their 'mommie', Musashi and Jersey are both proud of their looks and see the other as a threat, yet still appealing.
Let me put it this way: An animation company that spends time and resources on a 15 min short for a DVD sale that's literally nothing but the characters in swimsuits could have spent that time and resources developing the characters, sex appeal included! It's a waste, and so was that. You wasted your time and creative effort, and frankly anyone with an ounce of standards in writing should feel the same.

Is it still funny if it costs you a reader?

...Times like this, i wish i knew how to do the Picard face palm rating.

A question to the better history buffs. Considering that New Jeresy was active during the Korean War and her general role, I would presume that she was part of the Train Buster Club. Thing is, I haven't been able to find an actual listing of who killed how many aside from HMCS Haida, Crusader and Athabaskan.

Given the timeframe given by the link, I doubt New Jersey was ever part of the club. By July 1952, New Jersey had already completed her Korean deployment and had been relieved by Wisconsin. Her second Korean tour began in April 1953 and continued through to the announcing of the truce in August.

My guess is that the club was primarily restricted to the units in Task Force 95. With the bigger guns, I'd also guess that the BB's were primarily used to target larger targets as opposed to singleton moving trains and trucks (though likely did target assembly points)... so they may have collapsed tunnels on trains, but there was no way for kills to be confirmed in that case. This is as opposed to patrolling closer and looking for targets of opportunity (like many of the DDs described in the article).

caught an error here.

"No," Gale shook her head, "No you haven't seen her. The look in her eyes… poor girl knowsexactly how fucked we are, and it's scaring her shitless." She gulped down a mouthful of the cheese-soaked noodles, "Speaking of, uh, you make any progress on the summoning thing?"
