Magic is cool, but it doesn't really feel batmanny to me. Beyond that, demon dealing is not really interesting to me as a character trait compared to more of a focus on like being a zealous freedom fighter who brings the war home to Gotham. Also, a version of Bane who's an ex-friend is way more fun a nemesis than Kobra IMO.

I like magic and having a super high Learning stat. With this, Bruce will have 19 Learning, while the other choice brings it down to 10 Learning and makes Learning Bruce's worst stat.

It'd also be fun if Jack was instead one of the wannabe vigilantes inspired by the Batman to fight crime. Like here's otherwise perfectly sane struggling stand-up comedian Jack Napier rushing off to fight crime with a clown costume and modified gag items as weapons.
