Attempting To Fulfil Your Contract: A Noveria Planquest [Mass Effect]

Damn. Shepard did not rescue Liara before heading to Noveria. I always went to get her first to unlock dialogue trees.

Hmmmm.

Continuing what we started is a must.

But outside of that, we should focus on getting the last few favors up. Get the whole set, you know?

I'd really like to get those ES from Enhanced Border Security, and I would also like the Security that would provide, but we may have to take mountain monsters.

I'd also really like to take the Spaceport Expansion Program.

Gets us a LOT of cargo, and we will need that sooner or later.

Edit: Also, it's good to see the positive effects our heightened favors are heaving on our options.

So there are three dice left I actually want to overflow in getting more guards and they might be more profitable so I might add the administration to 2 on the expansion of ERCS and getting into the pipeline in approving the mines.

We still have a lot of savings since our capacity is not that good yet.

The people who pay us might want a nice industrial park on Port Hanshan but they need reassurance that the resorts don't get the bad industrial ooze.
Was thinking maybe make habitat its small park or something.

Pretty sure our resorts( why anyone would build a resort on this frozen hell hole is a question of it own) are in other city then the one we are working on?

I am sure we will make very sure we keep the workspaces for our workers as clean as we can.

I'm now sure you're talking about the arcology's park which is not really in our remit unless someone wants to make a biome of forestry which will be very funny because it's not going to be for the public and will be the site of our experiments.

Total cost: 200 resources

Overall a plan for slow and steady progress on all fronts: Destructive Testing Ranges and medical center will finish with good rolls, Data management and design spaces net 2 profit each with progress being made on Peak 12 for a brand new corporation to set up shop. Lower Hanshan and Valley Platinum are likely to finish this turn opening a plethora of new options the following turn.

Heavy Industry (3 Dice +2 Free Dice)

-[ ] Enhanced Border Security, 2 dice (20 Resources)
Administration (3 Dice)
-[ ] Internal Sweeping (Infrastructure), 2 dice
-[ ] Expand Security Staff, 1 die (10 Resources)

Resources Available: 312
Resources Used: 210
Resources Remaining: 102

Here's what I have. HI finishes the Korten range and starts up Spaceport Expansion. Since we're not massively pressed to complete the quota on time, we can afford to go for these longer term options, and we'll need the cargo.

Advanced Industry, 2 dice to finish the Medical Center, and 2 on the Network Isolation Lab that'll be studying Geth technology.

Infra, 1 die to finish Breaking Ground, and 1 die on a bit of internal sweeping. I still have 1 die left over, but I don't know whether we really want to push for Peak 12, and we need Mountain Monsters done before we can do the big Uplink.

Security is Mountain Monsters and Enhanced Border Security.

Admin, finish up expanding security staff, and since I don't want to give mining rights until the Spaceport has the necessary capacity, I put the other two dice on an Internal Sweep.

sounds good to me.

also, did know we where on the poles and the resorts are more in the sky resort type things.

I object to Valley Platinum right now, especially if Heavy Industry isn't expanding the Spaceport. It's description says that it's going to be a significant stressor on our Spaceport cargo capacity, and right now we've only got a +2 Cargo surplus.

This is just getting approval for the mines at the moment. The actual construction comes later as a separate option and yes when it comes up we're going to need a spaceport expansion to fit it. My hope is to start on it the following turn with all dice available.

I really want Space Port Expansion.

Also, why internal sweep on Chimera?
I don't really want to give mining permission until we've got the Spaceport ready to go, since it'll look weird if we give permission but can't start the mining project itself next turn due to lack of cargo capacity.

So, I've got free admin dice, and some free infra dice, so no reason not to do some internal sweeping if we've got the opportunity.

Suppose it's better to check one time to many instead of one time to few.

But what about the favor economie? Unless I misread this doesn't take us in the black for all.

I could be persuaded to swap out platinum mine approval for Firearm Regulation or internal sweeping depending on feedback.

In plan quests internal sweeps can yield gluts of resources being squandered :p I approve of internal sweeps for Noveria.

-[ ] Destructive Testing Range (Peak 41), 2 dice (20 Resources)
I'd play a bit more conservatively here. It really doesn't matter whether we finish the range this turn or the next, and we can get lucky and finish it cheaper.

We need to be working on Mountain Monsters, it doesn't need to finish.
