Kamen rider in the Showa era should be dying off in the 80s to be followed by the Heisei era, following the passing of the Japanese Emperor at the time.
The Showa era riders are mostly all in the same universe, while the Heisei era riders were mostly in multiple universes. You do have riders like Decade or the multiverse movies that brings together other riders.
So this brings into question.
Does the Adamant knight has a henshin.

21/7/1993

Summer vacation was not exactly the most relaxing time of year for students in Japan. While many enjoyed the break from school, there were still expectations placed upon them.

Primarily in the form of assignments that they needed to have done and ready upon their return to school.

Many students considered the coursework excessive, stealing away their hard-won break from school. That said, most students were not especially gifted at math and could not average the amount of work over the number of days they'd been given to come up with the conclusion that, really, it wasn't that bad.

For Usagi, well, she wasn't the greatest at math. All she saw before summer break had started was a long, long list of assignments that she just didn't have the organizational skills to really handle.

Ami, beautiful saintess that she was, took pity on the poor girl. She'd offered to help Usagi figure out a schedule -and- get her coursework done on time!

All at her normal rates for tutoring, paid for by Ikuko and Kenji, Usagi's parents.

So mean...

But that was the reason that Usagi used to go to the Hino shrine! With a great big backpack full of books and notebooks and pens and pencils and...

Usagi didn't really know what she needed. So she brought everything.

"Hello!" Usagi shouted to her friends after Rei's grandfather led her to the sitting room. "I brought everything, is that okay?"

"It's fine, Usagi," Ami told her. She and Rei were sitting at the kotatsu, cups of tea in front of them as the news played on a little television. "We've just been catching up on what happened yesterday."

"Did you bring the book?" Rei asked, her dark eyes zeroing in on the top flap of Usagi's backpack. Which was squirming right up until a little black head with a pair of triangular ears poked her way out the side. "Hey, Luna."

"Hello, Mars. Mercury," the cat greeted as she hopped out of the backpack and made her way to an unoccupied side of the table.

"Of course I did!" Usagi exclaimed, then looked to her backpack and winced.

The book, the one she'd been given the night before, was at the bottom. Underneath of everything else.

With an exaggerated sigh, Usagi began the process of taking her things out of her backpack to set them on the table. The two books she was supposed to read and write a report on, the packets of math problems she needed to solve, her history book which she needed to read a number of articles within and write reports on, yet another book which was in English...

It wasn't long before the pile was teetering dangerously large on the low table and Usagi pulled out the slim, handwritten book that the Adamant Knight had given her.

"...It's a spellbook," Usagi explained as she opened the cover, revealing once more the picture of a painting of herself, along with someone that looked hauntingly familiar that Usagi knew she'd never met. "I was reading it last night-"

"Voluntarily?" Rei asked, grabbing her chest in mock-shock. "Quick, Ami! Check and make sure it's really Usagi!"

"I was reading it last night!" Usagi repeated, louder, as she scowled at her friend. "And it started with this really scary warning..."

"Is it about the dangers of magic, how it is a force that must be respected and used with care?" Ami asked, far more serious than her friend.

"No..." Usagi mumbled before clearing her throat and reading directly from the book.

"The most dangerous part of practicing magic, I fear, is not the magic itself. You, and those with you, have far more to fear of the other practitioners in Japan than you do from the instructions within this book. To the west, in Old Kyoto, are the practitioners of the sealing arts of Onmyodo. The Kansai Magic Association. Be ever wary as these traditionalists view the Youma you battle as dark spirits to be sealed, bound and enslaved to their will. To be used as weapons against their foes, a list which seems to include all others but themselves.

In the northern reaches of Tokyo, hiding within the Mahora Academy, is the Kanto Magic Association. These magicians make use of memory modification to keep themselves and their magics hidden from the world at large. Make no mistake, they are perhaps the most significant threat that you might find outside of the Youma and their masters. Should their magicians isolate and trap you, there are no guarantees that you will remain 'you' when they release you.

Always remember, you are at your strongest when you are working together. Stand beside each other, support each other and help one another. Should you do so, not even the Moon is beyond your reach."

The room grew deathly quiet as Usagi finished reading the warning included in the spellbook. Rei and Ami both looked nervously to each other, then to Usagi.

"Well now. That was... ominous," Luna admitted as she tilted her head slightly to the side. "And what of the spell itself? I wanted to read the book last night but, well..."

Luna placed one paw up and on to the table, indicating her issue with that attempt.

"It's... actually really straightforward," Usagi admitted as she lifted Luna and sat down where she'd been, then set the cat on her lap. "It's a healing spell. Not a strong one, I guess, but..."

Closing her eyes, Usagi coaxed a bit of silver light out of that warm, comforting spot in her chest and molded it, her lips moving as she silently repeated the instructions in the book. Focusing on Luna in her lap, Usagi 'closed' the spell-

"Oh, my!" Luna yelped in surprise as the magic took form. The cat nearly jumped out of Usagi's lap and, if the girl hadn't been wearing a long skirt, would have clawed into the poor girl's leg. "That- Well! It-" Luna cleared her throat, her head ducking bashfully. "That was certainly healing magic. I... hadn't realized that I'd sprained my tail until it just stopped hurting."

"That's... surprising," Rei admitted as Ami stretched over the table to take the book for herself. "What's this guy doing, anyway? He just turned up and... well, I mean he wrecked the Youma from last night. And then he gave you a spellbook? Like, an actual spellbook?"

"It's worse than that," Ami said as she flipped through the book without looking at them. "I was reviewing the footage that I captured during the fight-"

"You mean you were gushing over the footage of the fight?" Rei asked as she leaned over and elbowed her friend in the ribs.

"No!" Ami immediately denied, her face turning red. "I just- I mean- I... may have?" the girl bashfully admitted before nervously clearing her throat. "Stop bullying me, Rei. I'm being serious!"

"Alright," the young priestess acquiesced with a sharp grin. "So, what was it about this guy you were crushing on?"

"As I was saying," Ami said with a cute little huff. "I was reviewing the footage from last night and I discovered why the Youma was giving us so much trouble; She was actively consuming the life force she'd stolen to bolster her abilities. We nearly had her when the Adamant Knight intervened-"

"Wait!" Usagi shouted. "You mean we were about to win?!"

"We were," Ami agreed. "But you recall how the Youma tried to drain the Adamant Knight?" Ami waited until her friends nodded before continuing. "Well, he wasn't immune to her attacks like we thought. Actually, the longer she held on to him, the faster she was draining him. But the longer the 'fight' went on? He was actually getting stronger, and he was getting stronger faster than she could drain him."

"...Wait," Usagi asked, a frown on her face. "So, he was actually supercharging the Youma before he killed it with that super-cool jump thing he did?"

"Indeed," Ami told her. "And then he reclaimed his own vitality from the Youma, as... well."

They all remembered, rather vividly, how the Adamant Knight had ripped the red crystallized chunk of life out of the Youma's corpse.

"Well, that's- Hey! He's on TV!" Usagi exclaimed, interrupting herself to point at the television.

-----

"Hello, this is Takanawa Tricia, reporting live from the scene of last night's Youma battle," a small woman in a smart suit said into the camera, a microphone held in her hand. The scene panned around, focusing on the green smear on the road next to a cracked and broken impact crater. "As you can see, collateral damage to the scenery is all that remains after the Sailor Senshi succeeded in subduing the Youma with the help of a newcomer. Eyewitness reports claim that a giant man, two meters tall or taller, literally jumped in to the..."

The camera stopped panning around as a giant man in brilliant blue plate armor walked through the crowd.

A giant man in brilliant blue plate armor with a hard hat sitting atop his helmet, a high-visibility vest worn around his chest piece and with a pair of glasses taped to the front of the helmet.

He was also carrying a number of safety pylons underneath of one, big arm.

The camera panned back to Takanawa who stared at the scene in confusion for a moment before she began to hustle over to the Adamant Knight.

"Sir!" the woman shouted before clearing her throat and shoving the microphone into the man's face. "Sir, may I ask who you are and what it is that you're doing?"

"Of course you can!" the man shouted as he flexed, clutching the pylons closer to his chest as he held one arm straight out. "This is the Adamant Knight, wearing the impenetrable disguise of a heroic construction worker! He's come to repair the damages leftover from the night before, as any conscientious citizen should!"

"I... see," Takanawa said, clearly confused judging by the glance she sent to the camera as the Adamant Knight walked right by her to start setting up the barriers around the crater.

The woman lifted one hand up to her earpiece, clearly listening to something for a moment before she turned around to face the Adamant Knight, another question on her lips-

"What do you think you're doing?!" the man shouted, both hands extended as he pointed to the crater. "Do you have any idea how many people rely on you, every single day?! Men and women trust in you! You and all the rest of the road, to be intact and safe! But here you are, broken and cracked and useless!"

The Adamant Knight raised one hand up to point at the sky before swinging it back down to point at the crater.

"Look at you! Dishonoring yourself! Dishonoring the quarry that supplied your parts! Just think of all the hardworking men and women that dedicated their time, their effort, and you just gave up! No! Pull yourself together!"

Unexpectedly, inexplicably, bits and pieces of rubble around the crater began to wobble and vibrate before... flying into the crater. The cracks smoothed out and the dip rose back up to a smooth, even surface.

"Aww, yeah!" the Adamant Knight shouted as he loudly clapped. "Now that's what I'm talkin' about!"

The man bent down, then straightened up so hard he went flying up and into the sky. The camera panned up and followed for a moment...

Before the black dot in the sky disappeared.

Then the camera panned back down to Takanawa Tricia. The woman looked at the camera, her lips thinning into a line before she shook her head, swallowed and said "This is Takanawa Tricia, signing off. She needs a drink..."

"...Did he just yell at a hole to fix itself?" Rei asked, one eye twitching.

"Uh-huh..." Ami agreed, her hands clutched under her chin as she smiled at the television. "He really did."

"I..." Luna said in befuddlement as she stared at the television screen. "I am... so confused."

Usagi...

Fully agreed.

He went full Mr. T. Next thing you know, he's shouting at fruits in his greenhouse to daintily fall on the baskets he placed throughout the building.

Dishonor to you! Dishonor to your family!
You think we accept broken crooked roads here?! No! We only accept straight roads! Unless you are a corner. Only then are you allowed to bend!
Fix yourself up before I get back or I will get the sandals! The wooden ones!

I have mixed feelings about this, on the one hand he's being sivic minded by repairing the damage done by his actions, on the other though is the horrible example he's setting for all the other holes around the world!

Implying that there ruined state reflects a lack of effort on their part, as if they could change themselves if they just put in the effort, when it's actually an act of magic on his part.

Can you imagine how they feel? The expectation? And the sense of failure that awaits them when they try to fix themselves? Talk about inciting depression....

'The boulder feels conflicted about this rampant character steal.' -Said hte Boulder, who is not a parody of no-one and/or anyone.
xD

Great chapter! :D
Good thing the Scouts got that warning tho! Noone wants to see a mind-controlled Scout xD

edit: 'fells' instead of 'feels' xD

Just imagine how the Mariana Trench feels. It's now at its lowest point, for sure.
