That's literally the next step of my plan. As I explained. In detail. The point of the post isn't to actually catch her, although if it does, it would be nice. I fully expect a bullshit positive answer that specifies nothing, since that's the most go-to bullshit answer there is for that question.

But considering the nature of the gift, offering no specifics should set off alarm bells in Anderson's head, leading directly to your plan.

Because keeping track of books you might want to borrow is something people totally do in a world without TVs or other forms of entertainment, and it's something I do every time i go to someone else's house

Sometimes I dont necessarily ask, but considering it let me enjoy that Collector's Edition of Garden of the Moon, I feel that the guy forgave me when i gave it back to him
 
I think the real question is whether or not the fake has ever been in the clinic before. Also do we even know where the real one actually put the stuff we gave her?

If the answer to "and you do this to all the books they have?" is ""only the ones that interest me" then your experience does not figure into this.

And whether the bible and cross are recognizably something that Anderson, specifically, gave - so asking if something general ('did that thing I gave you help?') would be better for rooting out any fakes than asking about specifics ('the Bible and cross').
