Anderson Quest: Killing Vampires and Werewolves and Leprechauns (Hellsing/Bloodborne)

I believe we can infer enough from Gehrman's comment:
Not really? Or I don't think it does.

And I guess I should've explained, but if Anderson knows IC that there's more and tougher monsters of the Cleric Beast's scale, it could get him to admit that his bayonets might not be enough to take them out, or without having to regenerate catastrophic damage afterwards

Which would then give him a (practical) reason to collect and use more of Bloodborne's bigger, heavier and more outlandish equipment over his trusted bayonets.

Also, first thing I can think of, just to present another option aside from the Amnesiac Goldfish and the Inception-reference-that-no-one-else-will-get votes.

I just want to make conversation with the waifu. Don't really care how or about what. It'd be the first time I'd see Anderson/WaifuDoll, at least.

Or Anderson/Anything-other-than-murdering-Protestant-fuckbuckets.

So is it just me or did that description of True Hunters make it sound like they were effectively another breed of vampire?
-gain strength from what they slay
-via taking the blood
-immortal
-crazy

Blood Ministration itself has massive Vampiric undertones. In fact, it's so damn popular in Yharnam that 'Vampirism' as a thing would probably just be redundant.

If he is confident enough in them to fight alucard with them he is probably confident enough to fight beasts with them.

Might get some info about Eileen and Djura. They were dreamers too.

not in the slightest.

Hunters don't steal souls or anything like that.

its more like, well ever hear about how old cultures sometimes believed that if you killed a strong warrior you should eat his heart to get his strength?

its like that but it actually works.

now Vilebloods, those are your vampires, they're the ones who hunt people for no reason other than to take blood... and then offer it to their completely immortal queen.

Seriously anderson thought Alucard was bullshit, but he just has a huge number of extra lives, with the vilebloods it doesn't matter what you do to Annalise, she'll survive, take every inside and rip it out, she still lives, break every bone and cut her to pieces? her severed head will mock the futility of your efforts, through the destroyed jaw.

you could do this until the death of the universe and she would still exist in the ruin of her body and eventually heal.

All Hail the Undying Queen of Blood!

although giving her some help with that via the altar of despair speeds that up considerably.

Note that what a Hunter gathers is called "blood echoes". Echoes of... what?

They're echoes of one or more Great Ones, of course. There's been blood ministration all over the place for generations (long enough for there to be enough Dreaming hunters to fill the Hunter's Dream with all those gravestones, for the Healing church to shift a bit from the original of Lawrence and so on). There's blood cocktails that people get intoxicated upon, the animals have almost certainly gotten some a few steps down the line for that matter.

So it's not really the strength of the fallen you consume - it's the Great One(s) power that they themselves have benefited from.

Update tomorrow. Laptop went kaput and it won't be repaired until at least tonight. I'll come up with an omake of some sort to make up for it.
