Anderson Quest: Killing Vampires and Werewolves and Leprechauns (Hellsing/Bloodborne)

Oh god I'm just seeing it now...

*Shortly after being on the receiving end of a Clubbing of Righteousness* "I BESEECH YOU OH GREAT OLD ONES! GIVE ME THE STRENGTH TO STRIKE DOWN THIS VILE HUNTER WITH YOUR BURNING GAZE!"

"Ah got yer Burning Gaze right 'ere ye filthy heathen! IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AMEN!" *Fires purple Beam of Irony to vaporize said heathen to the sound of Anderson's maniacal laughter*

[X] Ol' Man Gerhman said he wanted some materials
-[X] Take a lil' bit o' everything back to him and see if he does custom jobs
--[X] See if you can get a club of righteousness. That Shoots Lasers of Irony.

The souls player in me wants to use the tail to make a club. A part of me is worried that giving the bones of an Old One to Gherman might mean he gets even better weaponry to use when he fights us.

The rest of me is too intrigued by the idea of throwing super bone bayonets and beating motherfuckers with the bodyparts of other motherfuckers to care.

Gherman, sorry, I haven't played the game

But I like the idea of the old guy in his wheelchair getting a chance to go all RollOver on us when the time finally comes. Or, hey. Who knows.

We might be able to convert him to worshiping THE LORD and have him join us in overthrowing that Moon Presence thing.

Gerhman has no idea how Anderson started Dreaming, since Anderson didn't sign a contract and isn't a proper Hunter.

Gerhman has no reason to believe that executing Anderson in the Dream will free him from it, since Anderson has no contract to end.

So, Gerhman may not see a point in trying to fight Anderson at all.

Death in the dream seems to free you. You don't need a contract for that to still be true. Or at least Micolash seemed to think so.

Micolash KNOWS how he got into the Nightmare of Mensis, so it could be assumed he understands perfectly well how to get out.

I'll reiterate that no one knows how Anderson got into the Hunter's Dream, which doesn't even work quite the same as the Nightmare of Mensis anyway.

Why should we choose?

Thanks @TehChron.

I doubt that Gehrman will be putting aside his Burial Blade, the conceptual forefather of all transforming Hunter Weapons, forged from the bones of beasts and sacred metal harvested from a falling star for some new weapon thrown together from the leftovers of a Mediocre One.

She pulls out her blade, looking back and forth from it to the body before putting it away with a sigh.

"You said it was invisible?"

"Until it wanted me ta see it."

"So there could be any number of these things around Yharnam and we'd never know it. Any number of these things anywhere." She starts walking up to join Iosefka in her examination. Connor and Murphy seem unfazed by her approach, perhaps accepting her as one of their own. "Still, you've proven that they can die. That's good to know."
I love this.

Have I said how much I love characters that don't freak out and just calmly internalize new information and integrate it into their purpose without panicking?

Because I love it.

Good girl. Good ally.
Someone wasn't intelligently designed.
Heh.
"Like a beam of light that makes things explode."

The doctor just stares at you for a moment before seating herself on the chapel steps.

"Three hours ago, I was wondering whether I had enough bedpans for the night. Now I'm thinking about autopsying a god."
DOOOOOOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

Now I imagine an XCOM-style autopsy report. "Lesser Amygdala autopsy" research, anyone? :p :V

Wonder how much Insight Anderson got from that? He might be getting close to being able to see those thing unaided.

Making a Trick Weapon out of a lesser (pretender) god's body... either Gerhman will either go meh or go wtf at the stuff Anderson's lugging around.

And for a weapon that's "huge", "creepy" and "has an eye for OPTIC BLASTS", I've got an idea.
