Anderson Quest: Killing Vampires and Werewolves and Leprechauns (Hellsing/Bloodborne)

Personally I'd prefer making a spiked cross club or something like that. But how about we just harvest the parts now and get some weapon making tips from Gherman when we next go to the dream.

Yeah, we should aim for multiple use weapons made from this creature, and try to expand our arsenal in more directions the swords.
Edit: sinsystems has a good idea, why not give it a try?

You guys do realize a cross with a set of eyeballs in the middle of it is blasphemous as all fuck, right?

Anderson kills for the Lord.

"Thou shalt not kill"

He makes a cross shape out of bayonets.

There's probably more examples but those seem enough along with the humorous nature of things to justify having an awesome laser shooting cross.

(And maybe just put the eyeball at the end or something? I dunno.)

Beware of witchcraft, supernaturally altering the world save via the will and grace of God is a big nono.

Wielding the magical properties of a blasphemous false god isn't a good thing for a Catholic.

"Those who play with the devil's toys will be brought by degrees to wield his sword." And all that.

I'd recommend just burning it and being done with it. Father Anderson has no need for any power other than that of Almighty God.

We... do need some way to power up, given what's out there and how much trouble we had with this thing.

Yeah, but is this the Catholic Church or the blood healing church, that is what determines how blasphemous it is to wield parts of a great one.

God darn it. Even nowadays the acknowledge that the whole thing on witchcraft was mistranslated. Basically you weren't supposed to use bad magic like necromancy or calling up demons. The people who did stuff like healing and other things you were supposed to leave alone and not persecute them.

Justified in setting, sure

But he's a zealous psychopath first and foremost. You're suggesting a cross as a stylistic choice rather than as a murder-based expression of faith

...what the hell is the Kirkhammer made of?
A giant block of stone, as described in the game:

"A trick weapon typically used by Healing Church hunters. On the one side, an easily handled silver sword. On the other, a giant obtuse stone weapon, characterized by a blunt strike and extreme force of impact. The Church takes a heavy-handed, merciless stance toward the plague of beasts, an irony not lost upon the wielders of this most symbolic weapon."
