Even if it take us a couple of years- or even a decade or two- before we can talk to him, by the time of canon!Heresy we will no doubt have him at SL10 without much difficulty I believe.
Or at least keep the events that lead to his homeworld burning from happening. If we can't even do that at least at like the big sister we are and force Guilliman and Lorgar to make up. Guilliman took way too many decades to apologize behind closed rooms.
I can live with that if only to bide my time for later vengeance.
I support the current plan of "being too big to deal with." I want us to be similar to Guilliman's 500 worlds and the Adeptus Mechanicus in having a distinct culture that's still accepted in the Imperium because we're more useful as allies than enemies.

It would be better to continuously convince him to give the Bastion an increasing amount of autonomy from the Imperium as time goes on.

You know or pragmatically convince him that since the Bastion is larger it would be easier on the mortals if the Bastion and Imperium agreed on mutual integration and publicly announced that the Emperor and the Primarchs would rule in a council like format with the Emperor as it's head due to him being our father. This way everyone gets along and all the Primarchs including us have a say in the Imperiums government plus we could probably convince Emps to make us his second on the council or something.

We might even be able to use this to help train up mortal governors later on so that we can lessen both our workload and that of the other Primarchs and Emperor so that we can focus on more important things such as R&D and the leading of campaigns.

Wasn't the Emperor's plan to eventually let regular humans rule themselves? We (The Bastion) could serve as training ground for highly qualified leaders amongst Mankind.

We do have an impressive education system.
Were personally helping to train top level administrators and allowing them to observe us in our day to day governing when were not even a part of the government currently?
Not personally, our systems are meant to train people for us.

Ya it was that is why I was pointing towards that as a benefit of the council idea as it would make the transfer of government much smoother then it would be from an Imperial type government.

    - [X] Psyker: Sorcery: 100 Perk. Omni-Manipulation V. You've reached the skill level of the absolute peak of known Omnimancers, which is generally about the level most psykers achieve in the field they focus on. +1800 to Combat, Tactics, Medicine, Electronics, Invention, and Explosives Checks. Requires Requires Omni-Manipulation IV.
    - [X] Psyker: Sorcery: 120 Perk. Omni-Manipulation VI. You've gone beyond absolute peak of known Omnimancers, which is generally about the level most psykers achieve in the field they focus on, as you are no ordinary psyker. +2000 to Combat, Tactics, Medicine, Electronics, Invention, and Explosives Checks. Requires Requires Omni-Manipulation V.
    - [X] Invention: Necessity: 100 Perk. Hidden Pockets. Having a trick up your sleeve is rather literal in your case. +25 to all Checks from hidden weapons and tools. Additional 'slots' for accessory-type equipment.
    - [X] Invention: Practical: 100 Perk. Much Better. You can always provide better materials than what was asked for, or make them. All materials below are considered one grade higher than they actually are.

    - [X] Invention: Extravagance: 100 Perk. Castle... On Top Of Your Castle. If it weren't so effective, you'd think it was stupid too. 50% increase in boost to specs provided by Extravagance.
    - [X] Invention: Extravagance: 140 Perk. Worth It's Weight In Gold. While using actual gold would be stupid, painting it gold is fine, and helps denote how insanely expensive it was. +10% to Extravagant builds. Requires 1 of preceding Perks.
    - [X] Invention: Extravagance: 160 Perk. Totally Worth It! Despite how incredibly expensive it was, the product is proving it's worth. +10% to Extravagant builds. Requires 2 of preceding Perks.
    - [X] Invention: Extravagance: 180 Perk. Worth More Than Gold. This thing makes gold seem downright cheap. Let's hope it was worth it. +25% to Extravagant builds. Requires 3 of preceding Perks.
    - [X] Invention: Extravagance: 200 Perk. Extravagant. While Extravagant items are expensive, they are also worth it for exceptional people, such as the Champions or yourself. +50% to Extravagant bonus. Requires 4 of preceding Perks.

Might as well get it over with, 50 crystals and birth the god now,

Reasoning that the emperor can accept: The longer it gestates the higher the chance chaos can stumble across its vulnerable form or crack the secrets of our crystals. Plus he is not doing anything immediately urgent right now so he can supervise as the immediate benefits from the god being born will pay back the time invested.

Speaking of talking with the Emperor, how long until they meet, Serras and him? I mean, there is an entrance within the Webway on Terra, and with the Bastion cleaning out said Webway, we will soon be able to use it to go quickly from Terra to the Bastion.

nope, the Emperor was MAKING a webway entrance and network connection. imagine the webway like a mineshaft. Big E was tunneling in from the side, making his own hidden shaft to connect to the main shaft with the surface entrance being terra

Looks good, next turn, we need to make our weapons and all mundane Tech, even better.
That's the idea. It's utterly shameful that we have the words as simple as "improved" and "advanced" in our bonus section.
Do we want Sophont or humanity first?

Sophont sounds more like Serras
Humanity first as a way to appease and compromise to the Emperor. Sophont after his inspection partly to spite him, partly to benefit Serras' beliefs and partly to aid all alien races.

It shouldn't be too long after the Ork Waaghs. He did say he'll meet us personally by the time we're in our 30's to 50's. If we're going to him we could get lucky with our Webway rolls and find a quick route to the Solar System.

Do we want Sophont or humanity first?

Sophont sounds more like Serras
Humanity it will make the Emperor friendlier when he talks to it after the first 15 Crystals.

Edit: Ninjaed by the Slaaneshi cultist with the record for worlds longest tongue.
Not personally, our systems are meant to train people for us.
Real life experience trumps almost anything you learn in a class room and we need the top administrators that will be running our government to be as effective as possible in order to smooth over the transition of power.

Maybe? But there IS an entrance within the Sol System- the latest Canon material show that, what with the whole battle between the primarchs on Luna during the whole Gathering Storm thing.

Not just classrooms, we (probably) also have live training, apprenticeship and other ways for people to have working knowledge of how to run things.
Yes but is it as effective as shadowing Primarchs and the Emperor for decades to prepare your self to govern a galaxy spanning empire in a council with a very small number of individuals? Were not trying to pump out a mass number of administrators with this action just create a select few skilled enough to be able to run the Imperium at the highest level efficiently.

Ilbgar said you couldn't teach karma. High karma is a necessary part of my plan.
Having good morals leads to more Karma and the rate at which you receive Karma probably increases the more Karma Crystals you have on you ergo what I laid out would be an effective method of gaining Karma for an individual. Also this doesn't violate the rules as the Karma gains are just a side effect of the lesson.

Wouldn't the utter lack of actual humans amongst the MoI's forces raise a red flag for people who thought humanity had gone hostile? I mean, wouldn't they be attacking the MoI, and all they'd have to do is ask 'Hey, did your creations go rogue?' to find out what was going on, except maybe right at the beginning?

Why would there be humans among moi forces? The whole point of the moi was to remove humans from war hell probably some planets had absolutely no one who could fight as they literally had mois do fighting for them and command themselves with ai directing themselves

What tri2 said, the MoI were made to be the soldiers for humanity, sure there were probably enhanced human soldiers as well but the MoI would have been far greater in number and likely more visible.

As for why the aliens wouldn't see humans and machines fighting, not every planet would need guards anyway.
