so pretty much favorite daughter material right there, not to mention if we get Karma high enough we might be able to be a good advisor for him.

considering he's lived so long he might need a new fresh mind that's working towards the same overall goal. heck might even butterfly effect the whole heresy! (we might get a chaos faction regardless, only they would be like the Norscar from fantasy version!)

I desides to look upon the equipment list of the Eldar, to see if there is anything of importance since they consider us divine and all of that, and I have found several interesting things.

As I understand it, every single piece of our armour is only defensive, so these are ways we could improve it:

Mask of the banshee - Unfortunately, these don't exist yet, mostly because it probably is too early for Faraethil, or now known as Jain Zar, to have created the howling banshees. So probably not paralyzing scream for now. That is, unless we desde to weaponiced our voice ourselves.

Ghost Helm - These are used by Farseers, which means that it doesn't exist. However, 'it incorporates intricate crystalline psychic circuitry which helps to mask the wearer's soul or spirit in the warp, protecting them from the depredations of Deamons and other warp creatures', meaning that it would be something reasonable for Serras to create, especially with our affinity to crystals.

Dark Reaper Range Finder - Targeting system, like the one of the Imperium, but better.

Mandiblasters - Neurally activated weapons at each side of the head that shot spikes of metal followed by a lazer to transform into plasma. Normally only useful for close combat, I suppose they could be replaced with our own weaponry and/or added in other places. A technology-only version could maybe be added to our troops.

Swooping Hawk Wings - Wings mixed with anti-gravity lifters and jet propulsion motors. Basically psychic jump-packs. Would there be any difference from our own? Probably if ours doesn't use anti-gravity tech, which we have. Still, they look like wings, which is good. On the other hand, I am quite sure the guys using them don't exist yet...

Vision of Beyond - Cool goggles that increase the field of vision. I don't know if there is any advantage over normal goggles. Could probably be added to our helmet.

Warp Skein - Pretty useless, since we can already teleport. Besides, its page says it was created millenia ago, which would be the 39th millennium...

Warp Spider Jump Generator - Same as above, but as a backpack. Might be worth a look if we can improve its safety.

Champion's Robe - Used by Warlocks, it would allow us to make a shield.

Cloak of Shadows - It would allow us to cover ourselves and our allies in shadows, reducing damage received.

Forceshields - These are force fields generated by a wrist-mounted devices. Its page says it is better than the shields used by other races.

Guantlets of Isha - They channel psychic energies, which allow the one wearing them to quickly recover their psychic power and health. They are normally used by Farseers, but an early version probably exists.

Helm of Arasta - Created from ancient Eldar artifacts, so probably still not a thing. It creates a field which scares and confuses the enemies.

Holo-Suit - Again, still not a thing. Used by Harlequins, it affects our outline, distorting and blending it to our surroundings, confusing our enemies.

Mantle of Malan'Tai - Used by Farseers, it basically consist of stuffing a helmet with souls and having them rant about the future, motivating the wearer.

Providence - A robe used by warlocks, it allows the user to become invulnerable and use his psychic power faster.

Shimershield - Same as the Forceshields, used by other people.

I assume that these pieces of equipment could be created by us if they don't exist, and/or be improved to be on our level, actually allowing us to use our powers more easily.

Now, THESE are things that I doubt they would be willing to give us, at least so early, and I am only considering them possible since it has been said that we could be considered a literal anti-Slaanesh divine being:

Blood of Isha - If you believe the Eldar, these crystals are the literal blood of Isha, willed by her to the mortal realm as a gift when she was struck by Slaanesh. They 'would heal all woes for any who held them'.

Eyes of Kurnous - Remember Isha's husband? He was a hunter, which as a god, it meant he had the literal best sight in existence. This meant that he was the first one to see Slaanesh coming. Now, if you already know the problem he had with Khaine, you know that he was imprisoned, which meant that he couldn't warn anybody, and since the thing that he was seeing with his perfect sight was SLAANESH, he decided to go 'Nope, this isn't worth it' and willed his eyes to turn crystals, which then he took and shattered, with the fragments landing in all the worlds of the galaxy. They grant sight beyond sight and vision beyond vision to those who bear them.

Mantle of the Laughing God - The Harlequins give these to champions from the Craftworlds. They give the wearer the blessing of the Laughing God, but he is going to make you use it.

There are also a lot of symbols, runes, special soul stones, and relics that aren't listed here, but this are mostly things that I thought we could add to our armour so that it did more than just defend.

I also didn't include Dark Eldar equipment, though we will probably have access to some once the Webway stabilizes.

@ilbgar123, are they willing/interested in sharing any of these? I simply don't know how they would deal with somebody that is both part of their pantheon and the leader of an unstable (to their eyes) faction.

Probably not gonna get much from the Dark Eldar.

Uh, I thought that with how we would be able to sway some of them to our side we could get their equipment, but I can see how the others would antagonize them for that. Hopefully, we can make them stop being a treat, be it by being powerul enough, weakening them by swaying a lot of people, or succeeding at diplomatic relations.

Well, most of the ones we'd sway would be the lowest-ranked ones. The ones that were basically the PDF grunts to the upper echelons Imperial Noble.

If the 'Dark' Eldar of the current era ever end up raiding the Bastion for slaves to torture or anything like that, we'd have a viable reason to hunt them down and murd-er, geno-er, pacify them. It would save everyone a lot of trouble, and we'd be able to take all of their stuff. :)

Well, they respect/fear the Harlequins enough to do what they say, so all we need is to get the Bastion approved by Cegorach, and then they probably would hold themselves. This extention would probably also extent to the most humans, and depending on how strong we become, the non-hostile species. It has already been said that they will not be as bad as in cannon due to the butterfly effect.

On the last SL. I've decided to post the SLs separate from the Interludes so you guys have something to chew on in the interim (and the SLs are already like 10000 words) while I finish up.
