[X] Enter Ship. While you'd be at some minor risk, you doubt this Warboss was strong enough to really give you much trouble when you had your new suit of armor. Bonus Loot Roll if successful. Full Dreadnought Hull from intact Hulk if successful.

That was certainly a stomp and a half.

Edit: the bonuses and the hail of crits from our ship construction certainly didn't help with that

Like there's really any other choice? Seriously great turn! Zero chance of Ork infestation, we probably killed all the Orks in the sector and now we'll get a full dreadnought hulk! Fuck yeah!

*sigh*

With SV, this is barely a choice.

This was never in doubt. Though I am curious @ilbgar123 . Shouldn't our casualties have dropped as more and more of their forces were destroyed, reducing their overall firepower? But we still lost a cruiser and 2 escorts every round. Was that just our lowest possible casualties?

The whole idea with skirmishing is to do it so we dont take all of their firepower so chances are good that we took around the same amount of firepower in every skirmish.

With the current system, yes. If you had truly overwhelming numerical superiority, say 50:1, then you wouldn't have lost anything, but the Orks, through dint of sheer numbers, brought a few ships down.

Yeah, like SV will ever turn down a chance for more loot.

Also I feel like the main reason we did so well is that we've spent a decent number of turns preparing for this, plus the crits from building ships. Had that not happened, or had we had less time to prepare, it may very well have gone differently.

[X] Slag It. Eh, it's probably not worth the risk. Really, what could there be on that Hulk? Partial Dreadnought Hulk.

Quite possibly.

The mines, which you modify to have magnets so they don't require actual contact with their targets since you'll be cleaning them up afterward,
? Space mines do not work on contact, that would be silly. They are oneshot shortranged stealth weapon platforms.

Yeah, we havent prepared nearly as much as we could have, what with the last turns inventions.

Ork Waagh Roll: 69+10(FBTW)+20(Level Perks)=99. Near-crit. All space-capable Orks within sector drawn in. AN: This is rare roll where a crit doesn't explode if you get one. This was for how many nearby Orks came for the Waagh. You aren't well-known on the galactic level, so not many were going to come on a galactic scale. This is also a roll where a higher result isn't necessarily good.
It occurs to me this near crit has made it so we have destroyed every Space capable orc in the sector, we just rid the sector we are going to conquer of one of its greatest nuisances and removed orc piracy as a problem. I guess this roll did benefit us on a high result.

@ilbgar123 just a note think orks refer their cruisers as kroozers. Also here is a link to Ork Vessels (List) - Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum for more details for future.

Another question, are the other space hulks still intact enough to melt down for resources and will rest of fleet attempt to clean up rest of ork vessels that haven't been completely destroyed?

Yes, boarding operations follow this vote. Currently you'd get 2 Dreadnought Hulls worth from the other Hulks. The Roks are a bit odder, and you'll be able to decide how to allocate them.
