Whelp, I'm now officially uncomfortable with reading any more.
The torture and mutilation of children creeps me the hell out.
With the wards now tortured and mindbroken into robotic gore slaves, I think I'll stop reading until I hear around the grapevine that they were saved and everything went fine.
Or permanently I guess, if it turns out that it didn't.
Good writing as always, but not my cup of tea.
Know how you feel, but there's always hope!Whelp, I'm now officially uncomfortable with reading any more.

Uzu is captured as well. The Dragon stunt was completed substantially before the lab purge began. Bonesaw said she had both.Eh we've only got confirmation of Vista and reason to suspect Transfusion and Tatsu, Geode is fine and Uzu is apparently somewhere, possibly helping teleport troops outside since according to the Dragon stunt she was in the pocket dimension with Taylor and Dragon. The other Wards might be off base and either at home/school or with Uriel holed up in the downtown PRT building.
If he could consciously communicate with shards(and similar entities like Iris), then he could simply ask Belazel's shard for the necessary information off his database. It's a viable Second Trigger option(might cost him some of his iconic slashing ability, or his sanity, but neither made him REALLY dangerous like Communication did).So is it possible that studying Iris allowed Jack to improve his control of his power and its secondary ability so he could use it to communicate with Belazel's drones in order to control them?

But really as long as he got Belazel in range, any psychologically vulnerable parahuman is easy prey.
Example scenario, knowing the drones are tinker work, especially if Belazel is hooked into their senses, or self-uploaded so he's actually there with the drones, then he could simply talk his way through, as long as Belazel didn't report it in(possible with a good opening spiel), and the drone couldn't kill him(typical patrol drones do not do enough damage to a Bonesaw augmented human by themselves even before Siberian)
Now the big horror here isn't the surgery doen to our friends, but what he did to their minds while they're a literal captive audience.
Lung's whereabouts are currently unknown, and I remember Krouse dying in the Behemoth fight as well. The whereabouts of Marissa, Luke, and Jess are currently unknown. I don't know what happened to Oliver.Just a quick question but Lung is alive right?
And did any of the Traveler's besides Noelle die?
Thanks!Lung's whereabouts are currently unknown, and I remember Krouse dying in the Behemoth fight as well. The whereabouts of Marissa, Luke, and Jess are currently unknown. I don't know what happened to Oliver.
Something like this:Once the current situation is dealt with, we can get Glenn's help in portraying this to the public as something akin to a devil worshiper holding up a cross and shouting "God is Satan" or something along those lines (perhaps negating some of the religious components).
Making this analogue still makes Autochon a cult.
He would. Essence would ALWAYS render his precog less efficient than it used to be. It became "this will probably happen" instead of "this WILL happen" when an essence wielder is involved.
Apart from, you know, the Essence based precognition charms that show that even when Essence wielders involved, the universe is still deterministic?
Can we at least hope that Bakuda being in means she killed off Mannequin?
It demonstrates that the premise of the argument is incorrect.
Remind me again why they haven't nuked the city that the S9 are in?
