Ah, I'm late... Oh well. Stealth units, sand shark ambushers, scorpion tanks, oh my! We could have the walls, the coffin, the pawns, sharks, flappers and scorpions if we drop the big guy, but it's too late to introduce a new plan and everyone loves giant robots anyway, including me.

Maximum killbox, near maximum ambush.

Also, unrelated, but we need armored divisions.

Just... pick out the best functional parts of Tails' jet/mech walker/go cart mess of a multi-role machine to make a purpose built tank and mass produce it for our troops.

The big ole f' off laser as the main cannon, a machine gun or two for infantry, separate the homing missile system from the machine gun and hook it up to a radar system for active defenses and put the rocket launcher in back for indirect bombardment then armor it up good and proper. Maybe Landmaster style jump jets to keep some of a walker's maneuverability.

I know Eggman made his own walker but unlike the transforming airplane he could equip armor on his, also he's a mad scientist so what can you do.

Guys, I figured out the best badnik to build to defeat sonic. We shall build Pseudo Sonic and do psychological damage. (That includes us too.)

Anyway just looking at all the metal/silver/mecha/everything else sonic and there are alot of designs and different ability ones. I vote We build all of them... jk but it's something worth looking into since they perform better then others.
 
Those anti air rockets won't do anything to the walls unless they are aimed at them and those are both static defenses
Yes I am agreeing that we need some bots on the ground to truly hold the line otherwise all it takes is gun just using artillery to shell the desert base and we would lose.
 
Walls alone aren't enough, though; we need something to garrison those walls for them to do any good.
Another thing we need, good troop transports. Or, alternatively, teleporters. I know Eggman built some, even if I only recall them being teleporter-to-teleporter, a deployable spawn point would be great. Like a drop pod, that acts as a small heavily armored shelter pouring out troops like the Ultimate Clown Car...

Circus theme, Clown Company, 100-250 themed Eggpawns deploying from a small car. Make them fear the honk.

Edit: Come to think of it, the Coffins would be a decent idea if they deployed once and then teleported in troops. Faster than the constant transit too.

Well there is those juggling pawns we can use hmmm circuses have a lot of potential and it might not even be out of character for eggman.
 
Yeah, my memories of that game are fuzzy at best. But, hey it could happen in a different way, maybe.
See i'd imagine in this timeline there are alot more eggman missions in the game and doing them will add one loyalty points to the eggman empire having low loyalty to eggman results in those endings but having a high loyalty results in different endings.

Edit: For example, the first mission in central city is even more of a warzone with eggman due to having more pawns launching an attack on central city so you have to destroy both G.U.N and black arms with them also wanting you to destroy the pawns alongside the normal part of hero and dark.

I just had a thought, Silver comes back in time to stop eggman from being killed because the eggbrain went ballistic and nuked everything when he died. I doubt it would actually happen in the story but it could make for an interesting omake

The very first thing you do is add more walls… two additional sets of them to be exact.

Hopefully that should at least slow down any attackers, the walls might be stone but the composite you made them from has made them leagues stronger than just about any kind of steel used by most human factions.

You also create the Sand Pawns to act as the basic foot soldiers of the base and potentially desert regions as a whole for the Eggman Empire.

The other new machines you create are the Sand Sharks, machines made to attack from below the sands and cause havoc.

And finally you create the Pyramid Defender, a massive machine that stands around as tall as the base itself it waits for the opportunity to strike and when unleashed rises from the sand dunes to deliver a torrent of fire with its duel laser cannons.

In the end GUN's forces withdraw from the area after some light probing action against the pyramid base. It seems the organization is playing things safely after the losses your masters current plan has inflicted on their number.

Sonic, Knuckles and… the fox have all been launched from a shuttle at GUNs space center.
And you without a means to intercept it.

This is annoying.

Hmmm oh well at least you have permission to improve the satellite you are bolted into.

But what do you add?
[ ] Some jet thrusters so you can better control the satellite.
[ ] A shield generator.
[ ] An internal badnick factory.
[ ] Advanced scanners.
