Also see if there is a spell designed specifically to harm demons (like, a bolt of light type spell). Also, a spell for tracking / divining a target's location would be welcome. (note however, that for best results we should not study all those books at once. Start out with privacy wards only this turn; just check to see if the other books are available and their costs)

Don't appear too interested, but heroes tend to be the talk of the town, considering that they're basically demigods, so he's bound to have heard something, and with us being away for a while we'd want to catch up on the gossip (this assumes that we know the shopkeeper only barely; just enough for him to know our name, or less. If he's more aware of any of our habits, don't include anything that would make our questions stand out from how they'd have been worded before our father died).
