From personal experience, asking someone about themselves (even in small ways) is a great ice breaker for conversation. Asking about the ice cream thing was a good start. Also sharing little tidbits about yourself in a non-boasting way helps people feel more comfortable about you.

I think I have an idea:

[X] Talk about favorites: You actually don't have a favorite ice cream or food. Though Naruto is crazy about ramen and Ichiraku.
[X] Talk about countries: If Chippu was willing to share talk about the different countries like the Lightning country, ask him questions.

Edit: Just as a reminder but Chippu has a preference for Lightning cuisine even going so far as to buy imported goods.

Hi and Mizu have asiatic cuisine, with Hi being closer to japanese and Mizu being chinese, as ironic as that sounds. Kaze have mid eastern cuisine, because duh desert, and Kaminari and Ishi have more western cuisine. Kaminari is more 'american' with their junk food, while Ishi is more 'british/french', though all major lands staple food is Rice, Fish, Fresh and Pickled Vegetables.

Damn, forgot to put the april's fool update yesterday. Is sad.

Anyway, vote tally please? Also, do you guys want a timeskip or more interaction to try and advance Ayane quest while you're still on your day off?

Okay, but why talk about the favorites of someone who isn't on the team or even present right now?

If Tetsuo wants to mention he has a favorite 'X' that makes sense in the context of the conversation and vote, even if it's saying he doesn't have a favorite. But what doesn't make sense is bringing up Naruto and his favorites out of the blue like that. It's out of place.

Maybe because we're making inane conversation? We're not trying to create a new philosophy here, we're just trying to make small talk and give Ayane as much of a sense of normality as possible. I mean, it might seem out of place to you, but it's not that strange for other people to be mentioned in a conversation even if they're not present. Hell, it can be an offhand comment and nothing more. It's not that much of an issue, honestly.
 
Yes, I more or less intended it to be a offhandedly comment since we go onto talking of countries afterwards assuming that Chippu shares about the Lightning country.

I'm kinda envisioning the conversation in my head. I assume ryuan will make it believable.
 
It seems to me that the first priority is to learn a skill so you don't have to sleep. Or at least on as much. I suggest learning massage that is suppose to get rid of fatigue.
 
So I'm thinking on putting this on a temporary hiatus while I work on a new quest. Don't worry thought, since this quest is well organized, differently from my other quests, I can pick it up at a later date rather quickly without dilly dailing.

Anyway I will put the link to my next quest here for those interested. By june I should already have definitely came back to this quest and probably with more material to work with before you guys hit canon Naruto.
