now did she "explicitly" need Tetsuo after such 'strong' impression about us being her friend and will save her over and over again? she has both chippu and genma right now, which kinda waste of time for us to sit our butt and wait. and what does suppose to wait from someone so driven to prove that she is not a cursed child and yet shaken by the fact that she is a cursed child?
that why I suggest to find out what does 'cursed child' means, either from the couple, a little bit information about Tenshin clan in general, etc etc. we need another perspective about this cursed child from those couple, from Kasumi, probably from those couple's another child in this hospital, and mostly from tenshin clan's residents.
once Ayane's getting better, or perhaps ready to speak her own mind (possibly alone), we will perhaps know, to a degree, how painful being branded as cursed child and therefore has better way to help her.
something like "yes I know what happens to you. yes, I never know what does it feels like directly, but I can relate (via naruto's life maybe) so I can feel your pain and perhaps share your pain."
or something like that. Because we dont judge, we just accept. oh she is a bastard of missing nin? no problemo, we have a loud jinchuriki who have kyuubi that makes us an orphan and we are his best buddy (we hope). He likes ramen, has a girl from Hyuuga who is in crush with him, and we are trying to match both of them and we also a friend from that Hyuuga girl too! We even get hugged, isnt that awesome being non-judgemental?

there is also another thing worth mentioning. we know her bio. we perhaps able to show a strong front with "saving my friend" excuse to the couple, hoping we might get an honest answer, or clue, or whatever that is. tell them we overheard those guards whisper about 'cursed' word about our teammates if asked why we know such thing.
we might even push it into asking about "Raidou - Tenshin - Ayane". about why did Raidou has interest in genin, about conversation between Raidou and Genma, and perhaps, about Raidou feeling somewhat familiar from Ayane's hair color.
unless we dont remember that shit... then there goes the plan 'putting the two and two together'
if only we can say why we bother about Ayane and that cursed child fiasco. why we cant? because saying Naruto is Jinchuriki is forbidden. blergh...

I don't put much stock in words (which is kind of ironic considering I want to be a published author). We said that we have her back, that we'll be her friend, but this is a chance to prove it. And if Chippu or Genma do leave (we don't know what they are going to do) then she'll at least have someone there. Also, we don't need to pester her with questions - in fact, I think I prefer that we stay silent or talk about other subjects. Basically, just let her know that we are there when, I believe, she's believing that it would be better if she was never born. Yes, going after the couple may tell us more about the Tenshin clan, and Ayame may ask that we continue to be there for her ... Ayane, but this is a chance to actually be there for her and not just say we will be. It's a choice between possibly getting more information out of the couple or interacting with Ayane and possibly getting her to feel better about herself while also possibly getting some hints about what happened.
Anything that the head and his wife can tell us Ayane can in the future - and I rather hear it from her.

I've been convinced. I'd rather bond more with Ayane and our other teammates. Hopefully, we'll have more chances in solving the quest and raising Ayane's relationship with us to Friendly should hopefully make her more likely to open up to us and give us more context. Also, I should point out that the whole "cursed child" is actually nothing really nefarious. The clan members simple revile her because of her birth through rape, not because she's something like Yakumo Kurama. Of course, Ryuan could've decided to change something, though...
Also, @ryuan, if you see this, two questions. 1. Maybe I missed something, but in Bio - Ongoing quests, shouldn't we have the one about learning more about Ayane? 2. Simple curiosity this now, but are there more levels beyond Friendly in the relationship bar?

So, I've been meaning to ask, but how do Hand Seals work?
Do the Hand Seals themselves shape the chakra? Is it all mental, with the Hand Seals being a sort of standardized shortcut taught to Ninjas?
If the former, could we make random techniques by chaining together random Hand Seals? If the latter, can we train ourselves to use the 'wrong' hand seals to confuse opponents?

The handseals themselves shape chakra in this quest. The way it works is like this: you put chakra into your hands, then do the handseals and after the jutsu is done you channel the molded chakra into the necessary medium, like thrusting forwards your hand for a wind attack or bringing back the chakra to you lungs so you can expel it as a large fireball.

yes it is. some of our skills are seal-less whenever we reach certain skill level to reach it.
@ryuan how much free time we have to do grinding before next arc happens? are we going to clear Ayane's quest first (are Ayane's Quest gonna take our free weeks time or separated just like our previous mission?) until Naruto's team return from their own "C-mission went wrong"? iirc, Chunin Exam take place after Team 7's mission (CMIIW).

You decided to stay and talk with Ayane for a time, but your sensei will talk with her first, giving you time to bring her something to freshen her up. Looking at your money you saw that you had enough to buy a few things, and with a quick application of Shunshin you went and came back quickly.
Once your sensei was done he let you and Chippu enter. "Think about what we talked Ayane."
She nodded and your sensei left after firmly grasping both yours and Chippu's shoulder.
"I got some cheap makeup to cover the marks, I don't think you would want to look beaten up even on the hospital. There's of course some cotton and remover for later", you show her your first bag before slipping something from your inventory, "I also brought some chocolate ice cream. Not sure if you like it, but it sounded like a safe bet."
"Thanks", she said in a small voice.
"Next time tell me what flavor your prefer and I will bring it to you, I have a knack on smuggling those things anyway."
"How did you bring those in?" Asked Chippu accepting his cup, "they don't let us bring sealing scrolls unless it's an emergency in this ward of the hospital".
"I have my means", you said crypticaly before sitting at your friend's side.
As you three eat your ice cream in silence you hear a murmur from Ayane.
"Hmm?"
"I like Marron Glacès, if you can find a marron glacè ice cream I would appreciate it."
You nodded, giving her a smile and a thumbs up before once more silence overtakes you three.

I need to do some thinking but I want to avoid anything heavy right now - if she wants to talk she will. No need to hit her over the head with it.
I unfortunately don't have lots of time on this and its not even in my "specialty" when its comes to plan creation. I suck at social stuff.

You don't have the big picture at the moment, but after the supposed fight against her family you don't think bringing up anything that can remember her of family right now will help.
