Could be, Hinata, after her kekkei genkai, Sasuke for the same thing, or Naruto because of Kurama...there is a possibility of being Tetsuo as well, but i think it is unlikely, for the ninjas of another country to be aware of him already, only if it is Danzo, but i trust the Hokage to watch for Naruto friends.

Lots of readers are assuming it's for Tetsuo. Could be for Ayane, because Raidou is pissed. And is super perv. Or Chippu because he is not well defended by a strong clan? Or Orochimaru being a creeper.

From Zero to Hero!
As usual you keep all your buffs active that day, ready to drop the books back into the library and perhaps ask for a copy of them when you saw someone familiar roof jumping. It was due to your increased wisdom and subsequent passive bonus that allowed you to clearly see who it was.
'Raidou! What he's doing on the village?' Then you noticed that he had a bundle on his shoulder, and when it bounced from one side to another you saw a mop of purple hair.
"Ayane!" You yelled before acting without hesitation. You used shunshin to catch up with Raidou, giving him a nasty kick on his side forcing him to drop your team mate on the roof. As Raidou skipped a few steps forwards from your impact, he turned to you holding the side hit.
"That was too strong for a mere genin", he said with a look of hatred towards you, "you have no idea what kind of trouble you are brat."
You tensed to fight, when you heard the telltale signs of other shinobi fast arriving at the location. Raidou took a glance around himself and tsked in annoyance. "Stupid warhawk with faulty information. We will meet again brat, and when we do you I will splatter your guts over the floor." With a quick shunshin, he disappeared and you saw the other shinobi hot on his trail.
Dropping on the ground you checked on Ayane who looked rather beaten up, with a black eye and a swollen lip, bruises on her arms and you're fairly sure more damage on her body. Without further delay you gently took her in your arms and you used shunshin to get her to the hospital.
"MEDIC! She was just attacked right now!"
The medic nins came quickly and took her to an examination room, leaving you to wait outside for a while. Sometime later an ANBU came looking for you.
"Kurota Tetsuo?" He asked and you nodded, "the T&I want to talk with you since you intercepted the missing nin. Can you come with me right now?"
"Sure, just let me talk with the doctors so I know if Ayane will be released today or not."
"That's acceptable."
A short talk later and you found out that she would be on the hospital for the night for observation purposes, and you set out to the T&I room. There you were greeted by one of the interrogators of the division.
"If it isn't Tetsuo", said the scarred man, Morino Ibiki level ??, "I would have liked if we meet in better circumstances. Since you fought briefly with the missing nin Tenshin Raidou I'd like to ask a few questions." You nodded and he started. "Did you saw what he was carrying?"
"He was carrying my team mate Ayane", you told him, "while the hunter nins and patrols were after him I brought her to the hospital."
"Good", he nodded and scribbled a few things on a notepad, "and did he said anything to you? I know from his psychological profile that he likes to boast so he might have slipped something."
You frown a bit, remembering the short conversation you had with him. "He said 'the warhawk information was faulty', or something like that I believe. Not the exact words, but pretty much it."
The scribbling paused for a minute amount of time, before it resumed. "I see. Anything else?"
"Just creative threats about my life."
"Nothing pertinent then. Thank you for your time Tetsuo, also since you're here please think about joining the T&I or acting as a regular collaborator in the future, we might have use for your abilities."
While you're a bit uncomfortable with him knowing about your observe ability, Hokage-sama vouched for him that he was beyond reproach and was extremely trustworthy.
"I will think about it Ibiki-san. Have a nice day."

A few hours later you went back to the hospital to visit your team mate alongside Chippu who heard the tale and went running to see her, alongside your sensei. As you three were standing in front of her room you heard her having a heated discussion with someone inside. You waited for a few moments when a couple came, and older man with brown hair with a sad and tired look on him, and a pretty woman that reminded you of Ayane with the same shade of hair color as her that was clearly crying a while ago.
"You're Ayane's team", said the man and you three nodded, "please take care of her, since we certainly failed in that regard."
"You're hurt", said Chippu noting the bandages under his clothing, "I think it's a good bet that you tried to help her when she was almost kidnapped. You did much better than many people that I know."
"But we betrayed her trust", said the woman, "and allowed a great injustice to run unchecked in our household. We have no right to be here anymore."
"I think", you chipped in, "that so long as you try your best earnestly and try to rectify your errors, failures and mistakes can be forgiven."
"That's wise of you, Tetsuo-kun", said the man, "but as mature and disciplined she is, she's still a child and she have the right to be angry at us."
"We should talk later, if it's not too much of a bother", you said to the two other adults, and after exchanging a glance with each other they nodded. "Thank you for being understanding."
"No, thank you for saving my... Ayane", said the older woman, "if you don't mind, there is someone else that we need to see. It's our eldest son and he is in surgery right now."
"Is Hayate alright?" Asked Genma and the crouple nodded.
"He had damage to his spine, but the medics said that it won't affect his carrer and he will be back to active duty in two months."
Genma sighed and your two groups departed, before you three were ready to enter the room when suddenly you stopped them. You loudly knocked on the door. "Ayane, it's us, do you want us to come?"
There was some sounds coming from inside, but after a few moments she called out in a somewhat weak voice. "Come in."
You saw Ayane with her face full of bruises, though they were mostly gone by now thanks to the miracle of medical chakra. Still your team mate looked smaller, frail, nervous, a far cry from the confident girl you all knew and were used to. "Hi."
"Are you alright?" Asked Chippu as soon as he took a couple of steps inside, "did that bastard did anything to you?"
She flinched when she heard Chippu calling Raidou a bastard. While it might be the lingering trauma of whatever event happened to have her almost kidnapped, you can't shake the feeling that something else is off.
"My injuries are almost healed. I'm only here for observation purposes." She said in a flat, almost mechanical tone.
You glanced at your sensei and he furrowed his browns at her reaction.
"Do you want something Ayane? I can go buy something for you to eat or bring something to read if you want. I'm sure being in the hospital bed is quite boring, or I can bring you something for you to freshen up if you'd like?"
She looked at herself on the reflection on the mirror and grimaced. "I'd like something from the last one. Thank you Tetsuo for being thoughtful."
"Everything to help my", you paused for a minute amount of time before continuing more certain, "friend. It's the least I could do."
"I heard you saved me", she said while looking down, "you already did plenty. You shouldn't had risked yourself for someone like me."
Now things are starting to get scary with Ayane. "I should, and I will risk myself over and over again. I told you, you're my friend and I'm not going to turn my back to my friend's plight like that."
She bit her lower lip, closing her eyes and stayed silent. Before either you or Chippu could say anything more your sensei put a hand on your shoulders. "Can you two let me talk with Ayane in private for a moment?"
You looked at each other for a few moments before nodding. Once outside Chippu let out a breath you didn't knew he was holding. "I hope she's alright after this."
"Ayane is strong", you told him, "she will get through it, and we will be there to help her."
Chippu nodded, "yes, we will." You heard him mutter 'never again' but without proper context you're not sure what he meant, still you appreciate the sentiment.
