Excellent.

1) How much mana would it cost for Artoria to fully Enhance (not including using Physical Enhancement) her body and how effective would it be?
2) How much mana would it cost for Artoria to fully Enhance (not including using Physical Enhancement) all of her equipment and how effective would it be?
3) How much mana would it cost for Artoria to fully Enhance (not including using Physical Enhancement) her stone golem and how effective would it be?
4) How /useful/effective would Dullahan be in fighting the dragon?
5) How much mana would it cost for Artoria to fully Enhance (not including using Physical Enhancement) Dullahan and how effective would it be?
6) Could we poison some of food using our alchemy skill?
7) How does Artoria's stats compare to that of a Greater Dragon? (I think this has already been asked before)
8) Could Artoria Enhance her eyes so she can see in the dark?
9) Would it be possible to scout out the caves without being detected?
10) What are Dullahan's stats?
11) Is it possible to back out now?
12) Sorry about all of the questions. There are more to come, but I'll stop for now until you answered these ones.
1. Enhancement is difficult to use on the whole body. Physical Enhancement is the rough translation of using it to strengthen the bones and muscles. Physical Enhancement is a type of Enhancement, if you catch my drift.
2. ~12 Mana. It'd make the sword sharp enough to cut through dragon scales for sure and the armor might become tough enough to reduce the damage from fire breathing.
3. 15 Mana. It'd be roughly as good as Artoria's own Physical Enhancement.
4. About as much as you might expect from a horse unfit for war.
5. 15 Mana. Same as with 3 and 1.
6. Yes.
7. About as much as you expect it to. Above-Average Human VS. Eldritch Being above mortal conception.
8. Yes, but it'd be less costly to just create a floating light with fire magic. If you persist on using only eye Enhancement for stealth reasons, it'd cost ~2 Mana.
9. Probably.
10. High agility, low everything else, I guess?
11. Yes.
12. No worries.

1)-Enhancing her body means "Physical Enhancement" while regular Enhancement is enhancing something/someone that is not yourself but to answer your question here it is :
    • Enhancement - Medium: Allows you to make objects perform their intended function much better at an equivalent cost in mana. Can be used on plants, but using it on animals and other living creatures is costly. Specific limbs and organs can be enhanced. These enhancements last for an hour but may be dragged for another hour for 1 Mana for each hour.
      • Physical Enhancement: You can increase your physical stats up to 15 points, at the cost of 1 Mana per 1 point (of each stat.) This lasts for an hour, but the effects may be dragged for longer for the price of 1 Mana per hour.

4)- Dullahan is a horse , now how effective is a horse against a dragon.
6)- We already discussed it , we can't make/buy a poison strong enough against a Greater Dragon with Basic Alchemy skill
7)- Already asked and got ignored *sad face*.
11)- Yes , we can back out.
EDIT : Changed vote to let's get out of here fast.

Let's see...
From a full-grown dragon? Roughly 70~ in each stat at least, perhaps save for Agility, but this is Greater Dragons we're talking about. We're talking Smaug. We're talking about the dragon that could eat and swallow a car.
Then, you learned about the two categories. Greater Dragons are the elders of dragon society. Often above 600 years old, the more prideful and arrogant among them have untold treasures.
1) So 100-120 in most stats, but lower in agility?

Let's see 15 Mana for physical reinforcement on Artoria to increase a mixture of the following STR/STA/AGI, 12 Mana for Enhancing Equipment, 15 for Enhancing the Golem, possibly 15 for Enhancing Dullahan and 2 for enhancing eye-sight for stealth purposes. We don't need to worry about maintaining it for longer than a hour so a total of 59 (15+15+15+12+2 =59).

2) Anything else worth Enhancing @Birdsie? Is my math correct?

3) Would Dullahan panic at the sight of Pyndwyn?

4) Is this the stealth option?
[] Leave Dullahan outside. Take your golem and wait for the dragon to go to sleep, then attack when it is dreaming.

5) Which is the best omake reward to decrease the chances of Artoria dying?
This:
- Some good luck from fate on the dragon hunt.
or
- 1d6 roll to improve a chosen stat.
5.1) How would having some good luck work by the way?

I'm probably going to take another hour or two to finish writing up my plan.

1. I'd say around that, yes.
2. Yup.
3. Yup.
4. Yup.
5. I dunno, the former?
5.1. I guess I'll add a +5 bonus to all rolls for the chapter.

5.1. I guess I'll add a +5 bonus to all rolls for the chapter.

I'll take this as my omake reward. It is only a temporary boost, but one that is worth it.

Thinking about it, I think that we buff ourselves and sneak in with our golem and then sneak-attack the dragon while it is sleeping. The horse panicking means that we should leave him outside. I also think that we should poison some of our food that a dragon would eat and leave it lying outside so if we do die, we can get one last 'screw you' at the dragon if he tries to eat our supplies.

So let's see, buff Artoria, buff Golem, buff equipment, night-vision = 44 Mana.

1) How much mana would it take to Enhance all of our senses?
2) How much mana would it take to Enhance all of our potions?

So the witch gave us a quest compass.

I propose postponing killing the dragon in favor of searching for the rest of her coven, so that they bestow upon us Auto-Aim, Regenerating Health, and Storymode Difficulty.

Goddamn casuals ruin everything!

Already voted that , need just to get support to not die early and young.

Looking at things, a fight isn't in our favour right now so asking the witch for some teaching is good. If she refuses, we can practice hunting the wildlife or techniques that we can use against the dragon such as fighting with Enhanced senses.

Hmm, learning how to poison the dragon from Beronica and then hunting an animal to make it look as if it had died by the cave or presenting it as a tribute to Pyndwyn might work. We would just have to make sure that the poison is good enough to do the job the first time around as we won't get a second chance.

@Birdsie Is it possible to Enhance something such as poison (to make it more effective) or food (to make it taste better so it disguises any trace of the poison) and then maintain it remotely?

Since I'm not planning to fight anymore, I don't want to have this omake reward. Not right now at least.

I would add that we don't need to learn alchemy. Unlike swordplay or most active skills where we have to perform personally, the one to use poison doesn't need to be the one who brewed it.

We only need to find a way to deliver it.

I initially thought to train Arty in Illusions with a similar idea in mind, but guess we'll need something else. I am trying to imagine how enhanced physical skill would help us there, and can't think of much else but throwing the potion down a dragon's throat when it gloats or roars - or is snoring? In that case it probably could be something other than poison (something explosive or otherwise immediately crippling), because poison doesn't kill instantly.

Now, if we do it with cunning, it could we another story entirely.

A pragmatic, but evil idea would be to stuff Dullahan with a bunch of deadly, slow-acting poison, then drag her to the dragon's lair for a snack.

Not quite heroic, but it'd still make for a tale and make Artoria make into a cunning trickster archetype.

But then why would it need to be Dullahan? Another animal would do just as well.

It occured to me, yes, though in another form - challenging the dragon and tricking him into eating our mount (with luggage) while we escape with our enhanced physical stats. Less evil, too.

Already thought of one:

We could also Enhance the poison to increase its effectiveness. When Pyndwyn is weaken by the poison, we can strike.

True, that.

I don't think challenging or directly interacting with the dragon outside of combat would be a good idea.
"The dragon's name is Pyndwyn. He's a mean one, I tell you. Very nasty type. Almost feral.
See the part about the dragon being almost feral? That doesn't sound like he is sane.

"Feral" refers to the aspect of a dragon where they stop being a powerful, almighty being and turn into a vicious beast.

Almost Feral would mean he has a nasty temper and little patience for mortals, but he might speak with Artoria if she doesn't come off as insulting to him.

So if Artoria came up offering tribute (secretly Enhanced with poison) from her hunt, maybe offering her service as a servant of the dragon, he would accept?

Most likely, yeah.

I doubt you have a poison strong enough to kill a Greater Dragon. Let alone potent enough for him to feel it. A GD would probably have the liver the size of a small elephant.

Let's see.
