I had seen a comment asking what would happen if someone use global mind control to reverse the meaning of heroism, but nevee actually seen an answer, so I'm curious.

Also, if Coil did pull a quantumn swap would it even affect us since our presence here is due to some Q like entity. Wouldn't he just send us toward the new timeline to continue messing with Coil?

It's an abstract concept, you can't change it. You can use the mind-control to change people's definition of it, but that just means they're thinking of a different abstract concept; heroism itself remains the same.
Now ask about the time Madman threatened to steal Christmas! :D

Madman sent you there a couple days ago. Coil's powers work on you just fine - why wouldn't they?

Thinking about it, I think finding civilian applications would be a good choice.

Keep in mind, everything about superpowers is meant to promote conflict. And the world is in a shitty state, with the vast majority of supers merely fighting.

If we can counteract that by encouraging non-combative uses of power, we might be able to directly counteract the main problem of powers and slowly improve the state of the world not just by stopping the fighting, but by getting supers all over the world to work rather than fight.

People are looking at us now, this is by far the best time in which we might influence others
It's one thing to encourage people to fight against villains by taking them down, but it doesn't directly target the source of the problem.

[X] Getting in touch with countries and heroes beyond Protectorate territory.

It would also do well to encourage cooperation by going beyond North America.

I like the sentiment behind this, but it faces the problem that shards actively push their hosts towards conflict. Kinda hard to promote non-aggressive uses of power when the source of the powers is pushing people towards aggression.

And that's exactly the point of it. We have to start somewhere, and this is by far the best time to encourage people to do so.

Though, I can certainly get behind striking at villains if it means going after the Slaughterhouse 9.

One of Madman's many colorful capers. On the morning of December the 24th, informed everyone at once that unless at least one team of heroes completed his challenge (both a set of riddles and physical trials), he would "steal Christmas".
The hero team known as the Zenith Watch succeeded (which, in turn, allowed Madman to make progress with what his real plan was)... but if they hadn't, his way of stealing Christmas would have been simple:
1)Build mind-control machine with worldwide range.
2)For 24+ hours, block the concept of Christmas from everyone's memories. Like when you know you're forgetting something, but you just can't figure out what.
3)Once Christmas has passed, turn off machine and let everyone remember.
Hey, it's more effective than stealing toys and trees!

Well I assume that the new timeline mean that we get shunted back to our universe
...I honestly have no idea why you would assume that. o_O

What, Illinois Brockton Bay Nazis aren't enough for you? :p

Kind of a big difference between the two ;) so, does the crack down option mean a focus on Brockton Bay? Not necessarily bad, very possibly good in many ways, just wanted to clarify.

You've already voted to smart small, working with the Brockton Bay Protectorate.
This option basically means that you spend a lot of the next few days patrolling, fighting crime, arresting supervillains, and kicking Nazi ass.

You know what, screw it. Sun Tzu encouraged having fun, I'm going for what sounds like fun.

I like nice socialization, especially from what Avatar has shown so far, I like going against the mold with powers and helping, and I like stomping on villains.

Would that also block out the ability to hear badly overplayed christmas music? Because I'll take that trade (and donate to keeping the machine running).

-[x] Perhaps convincing people to start their economic competition and conflict... Hey there are multiple types of conflict perhaps the shards don't know that...

We don't know that IC, and the shards aren't stupid, they'd rebel if you cheat.

We could probably try to alter the shards directly if we had some Case 53s to study though.

He can build indestructible metal. Even discounting his other powers, the applications are endless.

I wonder how long Mannequin can keep himself from attacking in pure jealousy.......I lose any sympathy for anyone that works with a Joker Expy

Indestructible metal could be potentially dangerous if an accident were to occur and you'd need to break it
