Some of you guys seem weirdly paranoid. I mean, she's our friend and she just dropped by to ask if we wanted to do something nice for her! Seems like the least we can do, really.

But on a character front, I can't see Hanako saying no here. Akane has been a good friend to her and was one of the first people to comfort her when she initially felt down. Even if Erika is upset, Hanako can't read a room for the life of her, poor girl, and it's not like she's really asking for all that much or getting in the way of any prior obligations. For Hanako this seems like a no-brainer, really.

Why would Erika be jealous of this tall, athletic, confident, attractive "friend"?
It's not like Hanako (as represented by the thread) on some level is clearly is attracted to Akane, right?

Eh, I'll grant that, but I still don't think that this means we shouldn't go, it means that we need more information for Hanako to properly make a decision. Because the rest of my points remain accurate, I feel, which makes the "no" votes make no sense to me. Sure, we're in a relationship with Erika now, but Akane has been a perfectly decent friend to us and spontaneously turning her down for reasons that we can't actually give without lying (And if you think that both Hanako and Erika are going to in concert be able to spin a convincing lie or excuse, I've got a bridge to sell ya) is something that sounds suspiciously like it's going to burn bridges that don't need to be burned.

This. Sure, Akane seems to be acting rather odd, but I feel that in-universe or out, more information is needed before we can start going around pissing off and/or distancing ourselves from people. I mean, I can only speak for myself, but I still got the sense everyone was expecting the 'tell Mari' option to turn out far worse than it actually did. I'd rather attend and observe before jumping to conclusions.

Because our Girlfriend should be the first concern for a little while. Especially around our other crush. I would also suggest letting our Clubmates know as well. Eventually. Possibly. Maybe.

Hanako on her own probably doesn't have a reason to refuse, but Erika seems troubled.
