A Catgirl's Last Chance for High School Romance - COMPLETE

[X] You're not confessing and that's FINAL! It's none of her business anyway!

Since it seems storming out will win anyway, I'm choosing this out of simple contrarianism.

EDIT: Oops, just correcting an error I found, don't mind me.

Put the foot down without being a wanker about it.

10. Let it all out
[X] No you can't say that! Storm out of the classroom and go find somewhere to be alone.

-----

You can feel your tail fluffing out and every muscle in your body seems suddenly tense. You're practically seeing red as you stare across the desk at Mari for a moment, trembling. You want to yell and scream and maybe just tell her that this is all a mistake and you just said you liked Jesse so that she would leave you alone about boys so you could stop thinking about how weird you are. But the words don't rise to your lips. You can't say that. Admitting that would just make things worse. So instead you just whirl around and hurtle out of the class room, slamming the door shut behind you. As you go, you can hear the murmur of startled conversation starting already as the other students notice your dramatic exit. You can worry about that later, though.

Once you're out of the classroom you run, angry tears starting to spring into your eyes. You don't know where you're going exactly but you want to get away from the classroom and away from Mari in case she tries to follow you. So you run. Down the corridor, down the stairs. You don't really know how but you find yourself outside, shoved in against some hidden corner of the building where you think no one is going to find you.

Slumping down, you start to cry in earnest. Shoulders shake in heavy sobs and fat, unhappy tears run down your face as you let out your anger and frustration and the sick feeling in the pit of your stomach that has dogged you for so long. Why can't people leave well enough alone? Why aren't you normal? Why can't you just like a boy like all the other girls you know? Why--?

"You look like you're having a bad time." A voice breaks in on your roiling, unhappy feelings. You look up, face already flushed from crying. Oh. It's the girl you ran into last week--Akane. She's peering down at you wearing a rumpled blazer and her short hair still managing to fall across her eyes. There's a watering can dangling from one of her hands and you half-realize that you've chosen the school's garden to cry in.

"Are you okay?"

Well. Are you okay?

[ ] You're fine! She should leave you alone!
[ ] Spill everything to this girl you don't know
[ ] Make up a lie for why you're crying outside (Feel free to be more specific in your vote)

[x] Make up a lie for why you're crying outside.
-[X] You're fine. You're just allergic to the plants here in the garden. You have plant allergies that make your eyes water you're not upset or anything.

This sounds like a shitty enough lie to have her continue to engage us.

It's too... Easy, to just let everything spill out I think. I want to offer up at least some token resistance here.

[X] Spill everything to this girl you don't know

Confiding in a stranger is always a good way to releive stress.

Yeah, we don't know this lass well enough to spill our guts about everything and oversharing would probably make her uncomfortable, as well.

[X] I'm just having a bad day, that's all. (Insert worse subject here) is hard this year, I still haven't been able to recruit enough people for the Occult Club, and- you know what, you don't need to listen to me complain. How are you doing?

One of the best ways to lie is to tell a different truth. We're obviously upset, but we shouldn't spill our guts to this girl we barely know.

-[X] Tell her that she must have accidentally watered your face, but that you should be fine now.

Because that's funny.

[X] "No, I think I might be broken." If she really wants to know, fill her in, but if she doesn't, giving her the choice to just provide quieter support or simply leave is probably the best idea.

More. Melodrama.

Nice! Yui's surname is Naoko. Thanks for doing this! Though you left off the home room teacher, Ishikawa-sensei (a human woman).
