Will this happen?[x] Upgrading him to Chaos God makes there be 5 Chaos Gods, making 5 a Chaos number in the warp. All of our tech right now is based on the number five not being a Chaos number in the warp. All of our buildings are covered in pentagrams, all of our psykers have pentagram based runes on them, all of our administration workers and champions have protection wards with pentagrams on them.
I'd rather not create a small eye of terror based on our sector just because we want to keep kingdom hearts in the setting.
I really doubt ilbgar will massively fuck us over like that, the vote was was put up by him to potentially de-escalate the current situation, not fuck over our entire empire with a single vote.Guys I don't think you're thinking the upgraded malice option all the way through. [x] Sealed Away. The Four cooperate long enough to seal Malice away. Chaos Gods start nudging large quantities of Orks and similar threats towards you in 5 Turns. Xenos polities have a far higher chance of becoming hostile and/or Chaos corrupted.

[ ] Upgraded Malice. While Malice grows stronger, he is merely a peer to the Four, as he has concern over having his existence overtaken by the Darkness he's calling upon. Chaos Four become Chaos Five, with all that implies.

Does calling on IC knowledge for an OOC problem seem weird to anyone else? This could be a concern, but I'm not sure it would actually work like this or not. Malice's number is 11, not 5, and Chaos Undivided's number is 8. Would 5 really become a Chaos related number just because there's five major Chaos gods? I don't recall 4 ever being a Chaos related number in terms of corruption problems. @ilbgar123 - would Serras have any idea on this?
I think that 4 is a chaos related number because it is easy to turn a 4 pointed star into eightI don't recall 4 ever being a Chaos related number in terms of corruption problems.

To a degree maybe, but it's better then asking for OOC knowledge for an OOC problem, and I'm not going to just not ask when there is no harm in asking. Worst comes to worst I don't get an answer.Does calling on IC knowledge for an OOC problem seem weird to anyone else?
Oh no, it's a fine idea. I just literally think it's haha funny. To a degree maybe, but it's better then asking for OOC knowledge for an OOC problem, and I'm not going to just not ask when there is no harm in asking. Worst comes to worst I don't get an answer.
