[X] Upgraded Malice

Honestly extremely annoyed at the nitpicking people are doing, People bitch about the Heartless being introduced because they can't handle even a tiny bit of a crossover yet completely ignore the fact that we are using freaking replicators and using the crystals we got from the event to give ourselves an insane advantage. It's goddamn ridiculous to me.

[x] Upgraded Malice. While Malice grows stronger, he is merely a peer to the Four, as he has concern over having his existence overtaken by the Darknes she's calling upon. Chaos Four become Chaos Five, with all that implies.

I would have preferred End-of-All-Things-Malal, but adding another existential threat to the galaxy is great too.

[x] Sealed Away. The Four cooperate long enough to seal Malice away. Chaos Gods start nudging large quantities of Orks and similar threats towards you in 5 Turns. Xenos polities have a far higher chance of becoming hostile and/or Chaos corrupted.

Guys I don't think you're thinking the upgraded malice option all the way through. Upgrading him to Chaos God makes there be 5 Chaos Gods, making 5 a Chaos number in the warp. All of our tech right now is based on the number five not being a Chaos number in the warp. All of our buildings are covered in pentagrams, all of our psykers have pentagram based runes on them, all of our administration workers and champions have protection wards with pentagrams on them.

I'd rather not create a small eye of terror based on our sector just because we want to keep kingdom hearts in the setting.

Will this happen?

I really doubt ilbgar will massively fuck us over like that, the vote was was put up by him to potentially de-escalate the current situation, not fuck over our entire empire with a single vote.

This could be a concern, but I'm not sure it would actually work like this or not. Malice's number is 11, not 5, and Chaos Undivided's number is 8. Would 5 really become a Chaos related number just because there's five major Chaos gods? I don't recall 4 ever being a Chaos related number in terms of corruption problems. @ilbgar123 - would Serras have any idea on this?

So, a lot of people are voting for Sealed Away over Upgraded Malice because they want more short and long term threats and they don't see that happening with Malice. So, have to ask, is that something people should worry about, or will there be a similar amount of threats and enemies and things to do if we choose Upgraded Malice?

Hey, good news people. If we choose this we have a very good reason to start heavily researching Anti-Waaaaagh tech in 4 turns.

I've been looking for an excuse to do this for awhile now.

That is a very good point.

@ilbgar123 With all of our IC knowledge of the Warp and Chaos and numbers and stuff, what do we think would happen if the number of Chaos Gods was at 4 and then jumped from 4 to 5? Do we think the number 5 would still be safe, be less safe but just, like, a regular number, or do we think it would become super evil and stuff?

Does calling on IC knowledge for an OOC problem seem weird to anyone else?
