[X] Upgraded Malice.
Okay, I'll be honest. I was indeed 'covering my ass' and I put in forward an event-chain to do so that I thought sounded cool, but may have been taking the crossover too far in retrospect. So! Voting time.
[ ] Upgraded Malice. While Malice grows stronger, he is merely a peer to the Four, as he has concern over having his existence overtaken by the Darkness he's calling upon. Chaos Four become Chaos Five, with all that implies.
there's no way Malal would ever work together with the other Chaos God's right?
Is this about KH? I feel like if it was crossed over with something more popular people wouldn't care.
Yay, I was right.
If it helps, I think it was cool and even logical and I might have done similar, it's just the sort of thing that might have worked better in a quest that was specifically declared from the start as a KH/Warhammer quest. Which, by the way, I would be super interested in.
Just to double check, Malal would still consider Chaos it's main enemy and be pretty darn unlikely to ever team up with the rest of Chaos, right? It's whole "hate Chaos above all else" shtick isn't going to change just because it becomes the fifth member of Chaos's boy band, right?

Since we're already deviating from canon with OC Primarchs, might as well go the extra step and add (what's basically) OC enemies.
That would be super practical and I would totally support that. Actually, that sounds like an advanced technique related to teleportation......Can we still create a weapon that we can summon to Serras' hand without it being a Keyblade? because that's just what I really want most of all, a weapon that can never be truly seperated from us.
So, Hard Mode (Malal Ascension), Easy Mode (Malal upgraded), Normal Mode (Malal sealed).
If you guys want enemies to fight, Sealing away Malal is the right way to go. Instead of allowing us to snowball, we're actually forced to start defending our newly won domain right away. With Malal upgraded, other Chaos gods will be too preoccupied to deal with us, thus we're very much just going to absorb 99% of the encountered polities with our giant speech modifier, and just keep playing our city building game, with the occasional disaster. With Malal gone, The four turns their eyes on us, thus mechanics wise we now have clear distinct enemies to fight with, and a bunch of unavoidable fights that we can't use our speech modifier to get around.
We'll also get yelled at by the Emps for fucking up his timetable. He's not ready yet, damnit!
[x] Sealed Away. The Four cooperate long enough to seal Malice away. Chaos Gods start nudging large quantities of Orks and similar threats towards you in 5 Turns. Xenos polities have a far higher chance of becoming hostile and/or Chaos corrupted.
