That's an upgrade for Moon, not for Sun. And it's on her weapon, not her spell.

One thing it does do though is let her cast two spells simultaneously (like say, a healing spell and a buff spell).

Sun has Multi-Caster; Moon has Spell Cancel, though.

By the way, just as a heads-up: Abyss Knight is the second member of the top 10 you met so far.

Either way, Multi-Caster isn't quite as powerful as it sounds against a single target, since each cast is a separate damage calculation.

Yggdrasil and Kibo are pretty transparently cooperating. Even if we forget what we just heard - that they share tech, - we have been repeatedly told that Yggs send the ones who don't share their ideals to Kibo. I presume there are defectors from Kibo to Yggs as well. World isn't kind enough to MGs for them to be at each other's throats, despite the differences in methods. The jury is out who is going to save the day, after all.

That Kibo don't share weapon research is understandable. They use it in self-defence, and Yggs practice that a bit too eagerly. Since their other arrangements hold, both sides understand and accept each other's position at the very least.

I want to know the history of Yggdrasil and how they came to settle in NA, but I guess that's what the Knight wants to tell us anyway. In this case I'd like to ask two questions.

[x] Ask what happened to the city.
[x] What was that about the raid in the north?

Did they find it empty, or...? And I guess I want to know whom they are raiding in the north. There aren't supposed to be any people left around here, are there?

[x] Explore why Rico gets brighter by day and you at night

Maybe we can even ask about their goal in africa. Besides that nothing other came to mind.

The thing with our Affinities seems already locked. XD

Because of the other thing that we can do: Exploring town and meeting other MG´s is something we dont need to do or we will do anyway.
The thing with the brightness of our girls is something we can do anytime normally.

Receiving training and learn about history on the other hand are both things we can take, but we dont know if this our last chance for this things. Exspecially learning about history will be our last chance for a while, because maybe Kibo can us train or give us knowledge, too.
Thats why I think one of this two options are the best to pick.

What do you think of that?

We should ask about training. Nepgear is never getting the highest level of Skilled she can because she missed a training session in the beginning of the quest with Red Rose.

Actually, meeting people first gives us more options on who to train with later, or at least it should

No, that's why Nepgear is never getting the second highest version.

I need not explain Levitate, either.
I think I have a pretty interesting idea about what's going to happen later.

With Moonlight Scepter having Return and Levitate both, it's like a remote controlled drone. A healbot.
It's probable that we'll gain a Proxy Caster ability on it, allowing us to heal someone without being in close vicinity. Correction, with Target by Level, someone becomes a group of allies.

So we can send out scepter with our sister, and stay away from fighting.

Either way, Multi-Caster isn't quite as powerful as it sounds against a single target, since each cast is a separate damage calculation.

One thing it does let you do though is cast spells at two different enemies simultaneously.
Crystalwatcher's story seems to object.

1) Silver Hero lacks any abilities that would synchronize her spells. Yet, when she cast her barrage, the spells automatically combined for Unified Damage. Meaning that they came up against the Resilience calculation once.
2) Silver Hero had Multi-Caster LVL 5 when she cast said barrage of FIVE (5) spells. Apparently, you need at least Multi-Caster LVL 2 to cast two spells simultaneously.
3) The same logic also goes for Omni-Caster I presume - that it needs LVL 2 to start working in earnest.

... Yes. I know. I thought that would be obvious for exactly that reason.
Ummm. Can you please state in no uncertain terms, which statement did you mean?
1) Nepgear is forever limited to Master Skill, because she missed a training session with Red Rose
---If so, please point me to the specific statement in CW's thread that disallows her from learning Inhuman Skill.
2) Nepgear is forever limited to Inhuman Skill, because she missed a training session with Red Rose

While we could get our healing spell to LVL 10 and offer our assistance had we chosen "meet more magical girls" option and found something important that needed healing, I believe we're currently at a lull where we can afford to keep our XP before another crisis strikes.

Also, I don't think learning our Affinities is something Abyss Knight needs to be privy to.

We can see already what our themes are - gentle soothing moonlight and glorious scorching sunlight. Affinities we probably can do without yet.

P.S. The question I'd like to ask ought to delve into the entire "magical girls are born of humanity, how will magical girls be born once there's no humanity left?" can of worms. @Naron, if the question wins, please elaborate on this.

And you're lucky this was easy to search for or I would have just told you to go find it on your own if you really can't take our words for it:

Can only be upgraded in-story by picking the correct options.

You missed one of those options way back when Red Rose was still teaching you and locked it out. Meaning the highest you can get right now is the second from the top.

Inhuman Skill: 2 for 1 <----- What you missed out on.
Master Skill: 3 for 1 <----- What you can get.
Skilled: 4 for 1 <----- What you have.

I do hide stuff in here.

I am very grateful for your help.
I also notice that CW has explicitly said "right now" - which probably means that in the current in-story situation (Answerer preparations) we likely don't have time or opportunity to get to that level of skill (or didn't have one IRL year ago), but it isn't locked out for Nepgear's entire life.

1) Silver Hero is called the Mana Cheat Hero for a reason. The Old Guard are all experts at exploiting soft mechanics. She probably just knows how to cheat to make her own spells work that way even though they shouldn't.

What I described is how stuff is supposed to work under normal conditions.

2+3) Multi-Caster and Omni-Caster do in fact allow two spells at level 1 and three spells at level 2. Seems that either Silver Hero wasn't putting forth full effort there, or she can only unify them when doing less casts than she's capable of.

Alternatively, Crystalwatcher just wasn't paying very close attention to mechanics right there since he knew that Michael's ability would make it irrelevant.

Maybe you're right, and maybe you're wrong.
I'm going to go with my interpretation until the day when I need to write something about it in earnest - and I'll just ask him in Nepgear's thread when that day comes.
Until then (and barring quoted posts telling me otherwise), story post trumps guessing.

It's not just Eva's thoughts anymore.
Soo... I am Evangeline Vescovi, but that sounds far too mean for a child... Rico and I never really understood why mother named me like that. I guess it also sounds cool, but I am not sure I can live up to it. (Of course you can, you're awesome!)

No matter. This is my personal mental journal of stuff; I am not sure why I have it, considering I know what is in my head and the only person who might be able to look inside is Rico (Hey, it helps me keeping track of all the stuff)... but big sister always said it is a good thing to be organised and prepared.

Anyway, I'm Rico Vescovi; just being around right now, though. Being with Eva is nice, so warm and soothing.

My birthday is the 2nd of December, I was born in 2000 together with my twin Rico. I am actually the older twin, although most people think that Rico is. (You may be the older twin, but I am the big sister!) No, you're not. (Aww...)

We have always lived in Verona, Italy; the city was mostly destroyed during World War III, but we somehow managed to stay here and now Verona is growing again. (It is peaceful and pretty... if you don't count the ruins and rubble. We cleared most of the rubble, though!)

I used go to school with my sister... she wants to become a soldier later... uh... wanted, I guess. With what happened, I am not sure she can still do that. Or that I can still become a florist. (Eh, I'm sure big sis will find a way. But... after everything that happened, I really don't wanna be a soldier anymore.)

We are both good at English and Italian; Rico is a good singer and I love drawing.

We call ourselves Primordial Sun and Primordial Moon; big sister said that those names do have a special meaning... but I think it just means sun and moon. (Heh, big sis can be silly at times, too!)

I have healing magic and Rico can hurt bad people a lot. It is weird, the spells just got really strong after a while... I always thought we would have to train it to make it better.
Oh, and we can fly! (Whoo!) It feels nice to fly around.

We also have a weird connection... thing... uh. It connects our minds together and we can share our feelings, too... and we found a way to stop it from sharing our pain, so now everything about it is good! We can even move each other (a little)... and we can see through the other's eyes. (It was really weird at first, but we got used to it pretty quick.)

Maybe there is still more...

-Mother: Our mother is nice; she is around fifty now and teaches history as well as art. I like her classes, although she is really strict. Mother had another husband before our father (That is where big sis is from, actually)... but both of them are no longer there. We make do with just the three of us, but I can tell she misses them ever since the war took them away; she blames Magical Girls and magic in general for World War III. (Thank goodness she doesn't hate us...)

-Big Sister: She is actually our half-sister, from mother's first marriage (I already said that!). I do not know what happened to her father, but I know he is no longer there, either. Still, our big sister Bianca is always really sweet... and cold, but I think she just tries not to show how much she cares about us (I don't get why she does that.). She does not look like twenty-four, though... more like sixteen... and she does not like people bringing that up. At all.
She knows we are Magical Girls, but everything is okay and she loves us anyway.

-Ludger: He is my and Rico's pet dog, a Corgi. Big sister gave him to us three years ago and I love him. (Cutest dog ever, strongest dog ever and most loyal dog ever. In short: Best. Dog. Ever!)

-Elisa: A nice girl living in the neighbourhood, a year and a bit older than me; we play together pretty often and she helps us with English at times. Elisa loves animals and I swear I saw a rabbit actually hopping up to her instead of running away. (I saw that too! And she is so pretty...)

-Bruno: One of Rico's friends; I do not talk to him as much, but he is nice, too. Although Rico and him often fight with each other and others... (Uh.... you know? Why do you know?!)

-Henrietta: Another of Rico's friends; she is as energetic as Rico, but also really nice.

-Anastasia: I am not sure about her anymore. She is a Magical Girl like us... and I think I made her my friend. (Stop thinking; Ana is our friend now, whether she likes it or not.) She looked so sad and alone there...

-Miss Soldier: I do not know her name, but she brought us home after the attack. I think she is really nice... a bit like big sister? Or like... a big sister? (She's nice enough, but I don't like her much.)

-Magical Girls: There are a lot of them and I do not know any... but big sister said that most are nice, even when they appear really bad.
She said to stay away from Abyss Knight, though. (Um... well...) I know, Rico.

-Judge: She is... (She's great!) weird (No, great!). Nice, but weird (The word you're looking for is great!). And she talks funny. (...okay, that's true)

-Brave Heart: I think she is trying to do the right thing... and she gets angry at people that hurt others (and me!). But she is attacking us, so we can not get to know her... I would like that. (I'm really not sure we could get along. She's kind of mean...)

-Iron Memento: Um... I am not sure about her. She speaks weird and with little emotion. A bit like big sister, but... not. She works a lot with machines. Rico says she lost her emotions. (She did... and I like her. Iron is the nicest weird girl ever.)

-Mirror Memento: Iron Memento's partner; she looks like me when transformed and is much nicer than Iron.

-Ignition Sentinel: She stays away from others most of the time and seems to just say what is on her mind. Honesty is good, I guess? (She is hurting, too...)

-Ming: Another Magical Girl, but I do not know her other name (This one sounds weird already; I never heard anything like it before). She seems peaceful and to make people happy. Maybe she can be our friend when we meet her?

-Haruna: (Again with the weird names) I did not see much of her, but she seemed pretty unhappy. She is strong, though... and lots of demons are attacking her. (Is that normal? Does every Magical Girl get weird things trying to eat them?!) She was in China... hmm...

-Dragon Maid: (It actually sounds pretty funny) Ignition Sentinel's friend and like a bigger Rico (Wait, I can be pretty like that when I'm older?); she is nice.

-Abyss Knight: We just met her... but she is far less scary than I thought she would be. (Untransformed at least.)

Um... I... I do not pay as much attention in history class as I probably should.

I know that World War III started in the middle of 2002... but I forgot who started it or why. But I remember that it was over in December of 2006 because big sister was with us at the time.

There are... currently about 600 Million people alive, I think. Everyone is in Japan, Australia, China and Europe, the latter is where I am. Actually, it is the UES now, that stands for... Union... of... European States! Ah, I remembered!
The UES is everything left in Europe, which was hit the least during the war. More than half of the people in the world are here.
The important countries are Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Poland and the Netherlands; they put the government into Germany's capital Berlin because it is in the middle of everyone else.

Right now, things are looking upwards, though. We are slowly rebuilding everything and everyone can be happy.
Except for Magical Girls, I guess... no one likes them much...

Yggdrasil
They are a group of Magical Girls led by Abyss Knight... and they want to destroy all humans to live in peace. That sounds so weird...
Both Mementos and Ignition Sentinel are members of Yggdrasil. They do seem nice enough, but they really do not care about normal people.

Kibo
This is the other group of Magical Girls. They are nice and want everyone to be together in peace.
Someone called Transcendent Strength is their leader. (You forgot that they have those Four Seasons, too)

I heard there are other races out there, but I do not know much about them.

The Unified Light
So... this is one of two big groups that fight each other... I think. But I do not know much about what kind of people there are in it.
They have angels, I know that now. (I wonder how those look like)

-Disciples of The Word: They are... things (Like... seriously, that one looks like a big red pyramid!). I only ever saw one and not much about it, but I think they like to learn lots and study magic.

The Unified Dark
They are the people who fight with the Unified Light. There are four races in the group right now. From what I understood, they are mostly about being strong. (I like being strong, too... but I'm not evil, am I?)

-Thirteenth Hell: Um... demons, I guess. Their leader is called the Supreme Overlord and they have been around for long, longer than everyone else (Except Heaven!). I am not sure what they want, though.

-Carnivon: Huh, those Nivonite-things are really big and look weird and have many voices (Even Bruno's cooking looks less urgh). They have three queens... and big sister said they assimilate magical beings... whatever that means

-The Forgotten: Weird... doll-things. Their leader is called the Heart for some reason and looks creepy. From how it looks like... maybe that scary spider-monster was one of them?
They want to destroy things.

-Children of War: They are big, but look a lot like humans... but with claws and a few more eyes. (I actually like those the most in the Unified Dark) Their Head Warrior is the leader and they fight each other for fun. (It's fun, though... sometimes. When no one gets really hurt)
Telepathy is cool.

Actually, if you check the known cases of Double Cast and similar abilities, and the presented case of Multi-Caster, you will find that there is at least one difference.

Specifically, that Double Cast and the like all use the same Magic Modifier roll, while Multi-Caster grants separate rolls.
Additionally, that Double Cast are all the same spell, while Multi-Caster grants the possibility of mix-and-match.

In other words:
1) Yes, the separate calculation of damage of each proc is a fact.
2) No, there has yet to be evidence that they must go in as separate attacks - and it's even explicitly stated in the Multi-Caster description that it's "cast several spells simultaneously".
