I removed Shining Protector from my exp plan after the GM said so. Our plans are now quite similar.

I get 1 less level in Scorching Sunlight, no flight. 2 more levels in Moonlight Scepter and Moonlight: Multi-Target.
... *Sigh* I want some better Flight already, and keeping the twins various levels even would be nice, but whatever. Not like mine's much better in that regard with their weapons I guess.

I don't think it'll be that bad.
I think this'll allow us to better control the connection.
Right now Rico and Eva need to concentrate a bit to see through each others eyes etc.
With this upgrade it'll likely take less effort to do so, or simply not be as distracting. (Or rather they still see through their own eyes as well)

I don't think their individuality will suffer for it.

Not now I know, thats why i can vote for this but the End of this chain of upgrades CAN be such a thing.

And Shadowangel I dont think so, because it wasnt stated, really hinted or within our affinity´s. Therefore I dont think that way. Like Naron wrote it, I dont see it as insanity yet.

But your EXP Plan sound good to me and this is where I can make a compromise, but it will depend on how much it will affect us, then I will decide if i can accept another upgrade within that. That is my opinion, even if Naron would like to write it.

Don't want to add too much to Scorching Sunlight at once, lest we kill someone we don't want to (again).
My upgrade already raises the damage from 640 -> 2560.
Yours would've done 5120, which would instagib a lot of MGs.
 
We'll never get to 90 with that kind of thought process anyway.
eh, that's only 390 exp each. We'll get that soon enough.
Though i do have different priorities than flight.

I want to get Veil Of the Lunar Goddess, so Moons health and defense to 10 are something of a priority for me.

In general defenses are more important to me than flight, unless we need more for a better highspeed combat level.
 
Yes. Fresh Meat exclusively starts with exponential growth and none of the five known Affinities has it.
The rest is spoilers; you will get the chance to learn your Affinities soon enough.
Oh, sweet! I thought it had the same growth as the second-hardest difficulty, and our bonus was that we essentially got two PCs and XP appropriately doubled.

Honestly, I just want to get all 5 in everything including and especially Moonlight Scepter.

That depends on how you define it, really... and I know how that sounds.
The point is, Two Minds Joined in Harmony is one of your most important Abilities one way or another. Twins are close anyway, but these two are literally joined together forever. They will never be able to get out of each other's head again.

So... I would not call it insanity, but some of the other players here might.
Advancing the connection means for the twins to embrace the fact they are linked closer than any other, and to grow closer still as a result. Their minds are not entirely human anymore... but whether they are now something worse or better, that is up to you to decide.

I am really loathe to answer questions like that, to be honest. I do not want to influence my players' decisions if I can prevent it.
To say it outright, I want you to advance the connection. Not saying it brings the best bonus or is the most useful course of action, but I know it is something interesting that I would love to write. I do not want people to do it just because I want them to, though.
Honestly, I feel that it's not impossible that at the highest level of connection we might unlock something like My Dead Twin Speaks To Me and My Dead Twin Lives Again, forgive my morbid humor. In other words, a twin-bond-based reincarnation Ability.

Even if there's nothing substantiating it yet.
...And I trust QM not to implement the Life Link instead (you know, the one-dies-both-die thing).

Nope. I wanted to do something different from the other Quests in this setting, so I gave you two protagonists with intertwining dynamics.

I am really glad you chose Fresh Meat, though... the first iteration of Nightmare Child was not exactly good; it got better after I overhauled her recently. Same for the girl hidden behind Veteran... only that I yet have to overhaul her.

And I'm more looking at Fusion Form: Magical Girl Eclipse being the capstone for that tree.

Fusion form would need to have rather extensive qualitative upgrades to overcome the synergy potential of two MGs with complementary abilities.

So... uh... first, you can take the (Legend) and (Fable) away; those labels are only on the templates to make maneuvering between them easier.

They seem to be sisters, which might make for something interesting.
I will put them in Limbo for now, until I can take a closer look and think about what to do with them.

Criticism for Unyielding Paladin: She has no quirks that would correspond to Libra's Lament "Magical Girls are Monsters" belief.
 
I am not sure we have those either. Mind sharing is not a particularly inhuman trait.

Besides, her designation is 'Paladin'. I suppose she could be an old-style MG without a fine print, like Brave Heart.

Not to say the characters shouldn't be made more 'interesting', just that it does not appear to be a requirement.

While that is true, most of the girls have that aspect nowadays. You ought to keep that in mind if you want to make more, if just because the number of non-monster girls would soon reach a point where I can no longer make them canon.

Yeah, I think a fusion super mode is the endpoint too.

I won't completely throw out the possibility though of the 'if one dies then both die' having the potential to be upgraded to a 'if still alive, resurrect the other at the end of the turn' like what Cosmos and Void have.
 
All? Admittedly Seasons are outliers, but I thought there would be quite a few veterans left besides them. They had better means to protect themselves from extermination, after all.

I edited the 'all' to 'almost all' just a few seconds after posting this.
The thing is, the girls that awakened early were mostly drafted and had to fight each other in the early stages.

Then the juggernauts like Nightmare Child, the Transcendent Trinity and the Four Seasons took the field... you can guess what happened to any Magical Girl trying to take them.
When the war was over, many girls were stabbed in the back by the remaining militaries... think Order 66, if you want. Others starved to death after managing to escape from civilisation.

There are some girls from the early years left, but they are few and far in-between because of the conditions they faced.
It is a little better now, mostly because girls from either Kibo or Yggdrasil are plowing through the world to find stragglers and help them, with a few civilian collaborators like Bianca telling them if they spot anyone.
