[x] "... No. We're done."

As tempting as it is to go for shock and awe, this really is a pointless fight. Plus, this will move the plot along faster.

[x] "... No. We're done."

The overkill is tempting but unnecessary and frankly Salem hasn't done anything to really endear us to him so...

Yeah, I see no point in playing his game. He wants to seduce a girl he got other means beyond using us and our team as stepping stones.

A good team leader does not let his team get used as stepping stones, and we don't want to be a bad team leader now do we?

[X]Accept the offer personally but mention to the other members of your team that if they don't want to fight that they don't have to but you are going see this through to the end.
-[X]Use ()jaunt to move where he is then use ()Crash followed by ()Breach

Eh, Moss isn't really a bad guy and I am curious to see a match between him and Jaune. That said if some of our team don't want to fight then they shouldn't fight.

[] OVERKILL. BEST KILL.

How can you people not choose this?! It's probably gonna end with this regardless of what the outcome is.

Edit:
Reread the vote, didn't realize it was the kill everyone option at first.

Overkill looks so good... but we don't actually get anything for the risk.

[X] "... No. We're done."

Objective complete, if Salem wants to impress his lady friend that much I say let him.

While normally I'd be fine with walking, I have to point out: fighting is a Huntsman's job. If Mini-Moss wants to be number 1, he needs to earn it....

OR make it worth Jaune's while.

Here's the plan:

[x] An offer he shouldn't refuse: Make a plan, then offer Moss a deal: the team drops out if Moss pays for the team's victory dinner. If yes, great. If no:
-[x] Jaune: bait. Moss is an opportunist, so Jaune baits him into an attack of opportunity. Get off the sword, act like he's preparing something big. When Moss closes in, drop the sword a few times so Creme can gather a charge.
-[x] Creme: rearguard/hammer. Creme provides ranged support and if/when Moss gets close she hits him with all the force she can gather.
-[x] Ada and Lumen advance but they're allowed to let Moss get past. These two are least likely to cause friendly fire if Moss decides to stand and fight. Lumen doesn't need to draft, he just needs to put up enough of a fight that Moss goes after a softer target.

looks at avalanche of votes Made for a fun thought exercise at least.

It depends on how good a roll you get. If you'd gotten above 30 on the last one, it would have led to a permanent upgrade on Reboot() for large-scale repairs.

... Something... which... I... didn't... fucking mention.

I should mention that the entire point of this vote is that, while he technically wins, you're making it as hollow a victory as possible.

None of these options, bar a write-in for throwing the fight, actually benefit Moss in any way. This is just the smallest middle finger on offer.

There's hope yet! You've got another day and a half to go, at least!

Also, in case it hasn't been made clear recently, the Tuesday, now Wednesday, updates are no longer a guaranteed thing. Turns out starting college means I have less free time to write.

Who'd've thunk it?

So, yes, aside from some shuffling around to hopefully balance things out so I can keep writing and also not end up tired enough to lose fingers while working in the kitchen, I'll need a couple weeks to test it, Wednesday updates are now a privilege, not a right.

Better that you didn't, people get salty if they feel that rewards they were "promised" are withheld based on the roll of a die.

Ha. Ha. Ha. Prolly not.

If it makes you feel any better it's alllllll downhill from here. :lol

I'll go for it. This is probably the safest venue we have for screwing over this asshole.

[X] A challenge!
-[X] A challenge to Moss, he beats it he wins the first place. Survival is victory.
--[X] Use Turn(), same as previous one, just with Moss as target now.

I'm not feeling too charitable towards Moss right now. Let's go out with a bang baby!

@Prok Okay going to be real here but it really feels like you are just needlessly encouraging people to hold the idiot ball by encouraging then going as far as rewarding stupid ass behavior in-story for reasons I cannot comprehend. I mean for gods sake, Saff got shit for needlessly endangering his classmates yet a few upates later you offered the option that had Jaune doing the same exact thing if he had failed. Jaune had a very damn good reason to not pick the most dangerous option since that could have fucked over any chance he had to get into Beacon if he had ended up getting any of his fellow students killed with his dumbass actions.

And we have a similar situation here where it looks like things would go really, really goddamn badly yet for some reason Jaune is going to consider doing something needlessly wreckless that could fuck him over for no goddamn reason since he pretty much won and passed already. No really why are encouragin people to vote for idiotic actions? I mean I could get rewarding taking risky behavior but only as long as the character isn't being a goddamn idiot about it.

Players voting for the stupidest actions available for little reason is just painful for me to read. To see that you are encouraging and rewarding the same thing is seriously making me consider leaving this quest if this keeps up.
