#StickiedForAReason
Votes that do not follow the template will not be counted!

At this time I am using a counter system, listing the number of days votes take to be put into action. However for write-in votes you don't know how many days an action may take. For this we will use the old system of Major/Minor Decisions, and I will tell you how many days/weeks/months the plan will take. Remember that every month has 28 days, and that there are 13 months in the year with New Years as a special day alone outside the months. There is no leap year, as their calendar is not accurate to that degree.

Major decisions are any new endeavors. Finding new investments. Finding new allies (specify what type, where you're looking if possible, what you want from them, etc) finding new trainers, starting new training even if it is with people you already know... Anything new.

No mixing something that would qualify as a minor decision or free action into your major votes! If you have a question about your votes, ask me.

Talking with specific people about specific subjects. You can generally only talk with one person at a time with this. There are simple logical exceptions, Husband & Wife combos can be put together as one conversation, brother & sister, stuff like that. I'll clarify if a combo is unacceptable when I see the vote. This is also for continuing any long term action. Any major decision that you have already voted to start (not just mused about in-story) can be a minor action the next time around. Continuing training that you have already begun for example. Continuing a long-term investigation or plot. Stuff like this.

Making small talk with characters. You will not learn anything special really, but it gives you more insight into their backgrounds and history, can raise/lower their loyalty or other relationship points with you, etc. Raising/lowering and how much depends on rolls.

These can interrupt any current action(s) and will take precedence over the current plan. A way to change things on the fly as you discover new information or alternate ways to potentially enhance your plan, or change it completely if needed.

Remember for all votes if you take a guard or other individual with you, you will need to write-in which guard/person you take with you (just saying take a guard or ally will leave the decision of which one up to me) and also whether Daenerys tries to use any future knowledge on the decision as well if it is one of hers or she is present. (She still may decide to try and use her future knowledge without your consent if she thinks it necessary.) These details are sub-votes.

[] [Plan] X (Current Month, Short Term, Long Term, Immediate Actions, Purchases, etc.)
-[] Major Decisions: Character name here
--[] Major Decision 1
---[] Sub-conditions of Major Decision 1
---[] Sub-conditions of Major Decision 1
--[] Major Decision 2
---[] Sub-conditions of Major Decision 2
---[] Sub-conditions of Major Decision 2
-[] Minor Decisions: Character name here
--[] Minor Decision 1
---[] Sub-conditions of Minor Decision 1
---[] Sub-conditions of Minor Decision 1
--[] Minor Decision 2
-[] Free Actions: Character name here
--[] Free Action 1
---[] Sub-conditions
--[] Free Action 2
---[] Sub-conditions

You get the jist of this.

However, under the plan vote, you will then put a "Priority" Vote.

[] Aegon Priority: 1. Major Decision 1, 2. Free Action 2, 3. Minor Decision 1, 4. Major Decision 2, etc.
[] Daenerys Priority: 1. Free Action 2, 2. Major Decision 3, 3. Minor Decision 1, etc.

This way we can vote on the general plan, then I can separate the order of events in said plan.

Don't put V1, V2, or any other such revision information into your plan. Just leave it like I have it. Nothing extra. The tally system will update to your newest post. No need to make version markers. It just makes things harder for me.

If an action in a plan is not one for a specific character, more a general idea of what needs to be done, it will still need to go into the priority matrix.

At the end of all your votes, put your reasons explaining your vote choice. As I've said before, a plan with reasons will get more weight than one without. Because reasons matter. I care about reasons more than numbers. I need reasons to help build the characters. Get used to putting reasons into your plans, as eventually reasons will become a requirement rather than a suggestion. This post will change when that occurs.

[] [Plan] X

You may (but are not required to) put additional reasons to agree with that plan beneath your vote if there are reasons for it that the original vote creator didn't put in that you thought of. The more/better the reasoning inside explaining a vote, the greater the chance it will be added into the story.

Votes are typically closed after either 12 or 24 hours unless real life interferes. Ties will be either decided by me, or by whoever is in the forum or the Discord that has not voted already at the time. I will @ whoever is currently in the forum or Discord that I choose to be the tiebreaker.

Plans have specific timelines. Immediate Actions are obviously immediate. Current Month is similarly self-explanatory. Short Term is something that can conceivably be done within 1-3 months, and Long Term is 3-6 months.

World Map
Interactive Game of Thrones Map with Spoilers Control

Braavos has mountain between it and the other free cities, but they are passable mountains. The dothraki will take time to get their horses and men over them, but they will get through. Then they have a straight shot to Braavos. Braavos is a small city of connected islands, but in some places coming from that side, the water is shallow enough to ford it. They CAN find a way to attack the city. Specifically, the two tips of land closest to Braavos. So they could do a pincer attack. This can only happen during low tide, but is possible.

Really? This seems improbable. What source are you using? Haven't read World of Ice and Fire but I don't remember anything in the books about it.

I would have thought the various Sealords would have made dredging the lagoon to prevent that sort of thing a priority.

On the other hand, any large army could just Alexander at Tyre it, if they're on an island and you have tens of thousands of guys ready to move earth you can make an island a peninsula.

It isn't canon. It's me stealing from real world lore.

Laena Omake 2 - Official Canon
Omake: Laena II

"Bloody Arse Buggerin' Bollocks Shit Fuck Cunts!" These were the words that followed immediately after the door was thrown open rather violently.

Laena paused to wonder if this sort of interruption was going to become a regular thing for her. She didn't even bother raising an eyebrow at Zaros' colorful stream of invective. It's not like she hadn't heard worse after all. "Still, better see what put that old sea dog in such a state."

She wrapped the package of bread and cheese up tight and stowed it in her satchel, shouldering it, then casually tilting her head towards her friend. "What's got you all hot and bothered Z?" She said with a bemused smirk.

The old bravo was pacing back and forth across the floor with his brow drawn low and a frown pulling his many scars into a truly grim visage. "I was just down at The Bloomin' Rose Laena! You know what I heard? Those damned screamin' horse fuckers are ridin' for Braavos right now!"

That statement was enough to make her blink, but not much else. Sensational rumors were a common hazard when you went to a brothel, especially one down by the docks. "Bullshit. The Dothraki hate the sea. And Braavos is surrounded by it." She said this calmly, it was true after all. The Dothraki were a superstitious lot, believed that any water their horses wouldn't drink was evil.

Zaros grumbled as he mulled the point over. Then he shook himself like a wet dog and frowned at her again, albeit more thoughtfully than before. "Aye you have the right of it. But it was Jenny that told me so. Said she heard it from a deckhand, what heard it from his old captain, who's younger brother serves on a trading cog out of Lorath." he began pacing again ''Twas him who says he saw the hoard moving westward when he was comin' back from Norvos."

Laena snorted "Well it must be true then. Who am I to doubt such reliable sources." She took most of the sting out of her words when she grabbed a bottle of rum from a crate and tossed it to him.

Zaros caught it without looking, and was soon chugging the sweet liquid down like a man dying of thirst. After his nerves were soothed somewhat, he took a seat on another crate and sighed "Might be I'm overreacting. But Jenny's only ever given me good information in the past. I tell you girl, we should look into it. A large enough force could attack us when the tides are at their lowest. There be no sense in takin' chances or leavin' it up to fate, now is there?"

Zaros went back to his bottle as he muttered half formed ideas and Laena bit her lower lip. Zaros may be a bit dramatic at times, but he was very rarely wrong when it came to this sort of thing.

After thinking it through for a few minutes she nodded resolutely "Alright Z, I believe you. Tell ya what, I've got some people who owe me a few favors. They can make sure what your Jenny's telling you is the truth. Then we'll get together with everyone else and decide what, if anything, we're going to do. Sound good?"

Zaros finished the last few drops of his drink before letting out a rumbling belch and smiling at her "Aye lass, I'll talk with more of my contacts and meet you at that tavern down by your old spot off Ragman's. Shouldn't take more 'an hour or two. I already started on my way here." With a parting wink Zaros made his way steadily towards the door and swaggered out of sight.

Laena rolled her eyes and finished gathering up a few more things before locking up and jogging out herself. She had much to do before she could start in on this new problem.

As she hopped adroitly over a narrow canal, startling a flock of fat grey pigeons, she spared a thought for this week's gathering. "I wonder if Velaryon will show up again. He did make it back from that temple. Surely that proves that he's got enough Dragon blood in him to survive the curse."

Laena had no more time for idle musings as she turned a corner and spotted some bloody bastard dragging a crying girl down an alley. Her dress was in tatters and a bruise was already forming on her face.

Laena scowled darkly and pulled her knives, melting into the shadows. "Rich, poor, lord, or whore. People are people" She thought with a sharp smile, as her blades found themselves buried in the rapist's neck. "And some people need to be put down like the fuckers that they are." She ripped the twin daggers free, ignoring the gurgling lump pawing feebly at his ruined throat.

"Hey there" she said, gently so as not to scare the poor girl any further "My name's Laena. Do you want some help getting home?"

The girl stared at her for a tense few seconds before darting her eyes to her deceased attacker. Laena could tell that the girl was holding back her tears, but said nothing. The lot of women in this world was well known to all of them. At last the girl screwed up her courage and took a deep breath, nodding shakily "yes please..."

Laena nodded back and slowly took her hand. "Well, lead on then." They started back towards the main causeway. The farther away they got from the alley, the more confidently the girl's steps became.

Laena felt the girl give her hand a squeeze "my name's Ferora"

This detour would probably put Laena behind schedule, but it was worth it nonetheless.

But Braavos is Venice. You can't wander over to Venice, otherwise people would have just done it. That's why I mentioned tyre
That wasn't the lore I was borrowing from. I was borrowing from the bible. Supposedly the Red Sea (Black Sea? Idk anymore.) at very rare times has an extremely low tide. This combined with high winds in the right angle will rarely make a small portion of it passable. Not to the extent of the Moses movies of course, and nowhere near as theatrical or "completely devoid of water" but it does allow it to be passed. That's a sea. Not a small island just off the coast.

Actually true? Idk. But hey, if it worked for the bible, it'll work for me. Especially since this is much less water.

Do we have to pay them? If so how much? Also maybe add them to our employees tab on the assets page.
They aren't even npcs. Just mooks. If you start interacting with them an they become characters then they'll gain names and whatnot. As is, pay is already included in how much profits the farm makes. You don't get gross and pay workers. You get net.

Okay, so I'm writing the next segment and it is time to give you all the Targaryen vault. Problem is, if I give you the full 1/4 of the Royal Treasury that was once taken from the Treasury and stored in the Iron Bank, the game gets a lot easier. So I'll leave it to you all. Give that full amount, or pull shenanigans to keep it from you and make the game harder?

[] Give the full treasury amount.
[] Keep the amount lower to keep quest difficulty up.

Gonna be writing the chapter while you all vote. Get the votes in ASAP everyone!

[X] Give the full treasury amount.

We need an army, which needs feeding, housing, clothes, arms and armor.

The choice is pretty clear for me.

[X] Give the full treasury amount.

So the game gets easier, money wise. There is still a significant part that isn't money. It will help, yes, but I don't see it as making it easy mode for us.

[X] Give the full treasury amount.

It'll make the game easier, but not easy. We're stuck on hard more until we manage to hatch dragons. And even then it's barely normal until they're a reasonable threat and not babies.

New rule, Luna said that he only closes the vote after 10 votes, or 24h have passed. So even if it seems a clear win it needs 10 votes in total.
