Sweet. I was worried Greyson's death might put a bit of a chip on her shoulder. If we still have the option to save Caitlyn from becoming a cop who uses her mother's most charitable act to gas the poor, than I'd certainly prefer to be placed where we have the most opportunities to try for that. Thanks for letting us know the battle isn't yet lost.

Makes sense, Caitlyn is idealistic and naive when it comes to Enforcers. Not stupid.

I opened my eyes and saw that Vander was still right in front of me. He'd put himself in between me and all the Enforcers shooting at him, letting out pained grunts whenever one of the bullets hit him. Why would he be doing that when he could've charged and killed them?

"Powder..." Vander groaned, dropping to one knee and pulling me a bit closer to make sure he could keep covering me.

Me. He was letting himself get shot to protect me. It was like Sevika said, the Enforcers were all freaking out and just shooting all over the place. Vander could've taken them out, but one of them might accidentally hit me while he was doing that. I was pretty sure Marcus had already grazed my cheek with one of his shots. The only way he could be sure I'd be okay was to block all those bullets himself. He was letting himself get shot to protect me.

The position of Vander's corpse, the bullets being in his back and then having to dig Jinx out from underneath said corpse...

Yeah that is all physical evidence of the cops shooting Vander in the back while he was concerned with keeping his daughter safe.

Also if the Enforcers try to blame Vander's kids death on the kids themselves - Caitlyn actually knew them. Full grown adults being scared of kids wouldn't make sense.

Those are decently big holes. Ones that would need to be driven home but decidedly present

[X] The Kirammans

Yeah Hextech is currently the one thing (besides the developing positive trait) that Jinx has going for her. I do not want her to have the obsessive nature rub off on her.

[X] The Kirammans

Jayce and Viktor are young men, who don't have any experience with teenagers, children and parenting.

The Kirammans are rich family from Piltover. Do you have any idea, how much potential this situation has? I find this possible conflicts and interactions to be more interesting and dynamic.

[X] The Kirammans

Hard choice Victor and Jayce would probably help study wise but the Kiramens have the material and polical advantage. They also have a shootimg range to practice on.

She also inst a hitman for Silco so in theory she shouldn't come out as good at martial as canon Jinx did.

They're probably going to send her to school either way and she's probably going to figure out how to do Hextech herself in the time skip regardless.

Imagine 2 bachelor's taking care of a little girl.

[X] Jayce and Viktor

I think that this would at least help her keep connection to her original home and help keep her grounded. Victor and Jayce might be the best long term just to help keep Powder from losing touch

[X] Jayce and Viktor

As much as I want a scene of a shimmered up Vi accusing Jinx of abandoning her for Caitlyn. ("Is she your new sister now!?"), Jinx would probably fare better under the care of her new gay uncles rather than with the Kirammans.

F@CK NO!!! I'm voting for Jayce and Viktor in order to prevent even this remote possibility.
No way she becomes an enforcer unless she can deal with her Zaun issues on top of what just happened. They also wouldn't hire her in the state of mind she's in.

I think she's going to be mono focused on vengeance no matter the choice we make.

These are two guys that's going to be busy with Hextech. Viktor is sickly and wants to pass on a legacy. I don't think they can help as they are. This would probably be more focused on a technological bent for the time skip.

[X] The Kirammans

We already have decent in-roads to Jayce and Victor with our work, but they're also going to be too busy with it to handle the more everyday aspects of actually caring for and raising Jinx. It is also interesting how this will shape the future dynamic between Jinx and Vi.

Until Jinx tells them to get a room already.
A lot of potential for comedy in the balanced relationship. In particular, we get Jinx venting to both sides about the other side, instead of just venting to Seraphine and occasionally Ekko. Things just work out better when Jinx's messy family life is something she can go to work to escape, and she has an only passingly involved family to come to about her work issues or concerns, rather than both being combined into one emotionally complex mess she.
They're probably going to send her to school either way and she's probably going to figure out how to do Hextech herself in the time skip regardless.

Imagine 2 bachelor's taking care of a little girl.
2 busy, ambitious bachelors with no clue what there doing and obsessions with there work and self worth issues to try and combat to make time for her, and a blindness to the dangers of Jinx losing herself in her work. It's not a good combo.

We are still part of the Hextech trio. Our relationship with Jayce and Viktor remain the same.
Jayce Talis
The Man of Progress, Inventor of Hextech
Relationship with Jinx:
Hextech Senior Partner
Jinx's Opinion: He's a bit naive sometimes and a bit goofy, but he's a pretty nice guy and I like working with him.

Viktor
Hextech Partner, Zaunite Living in Piltover
Relationship with Jinx:
Junior Hextech Partner
Jinx's Opinion: He's kinda distant and dry, but I don't mind him too much.
Whatever happens, we'll still be working on Hextech.

I think Ekko, who Jinx can still be friends with since she isn't aligned with Silco, and Seraphine, who is from Zaun herself, is more likely to Keep Powder a grounded Zaunite than shoot for the sky with Hextech and rise above your humble beginnings to prove to everyone you matter Viktor.

QM has outright stated as much.
As far as Caitlyn's character arc goes, I'll just say that she's not completely locked into becoming a cop yet. Jinx can have an influence on her choices (Obviously a bit more if they're living together). Jinx herself becoming an Enforcer is just right out.
It's plain not happening.

I cannot overstate the sheer and utter revulsion I have at the idea of this abomination.

And has already been stated by the QM to be an impossibility

Jinx is not going to become an Enforcer no matter who she ends up with.

This option is the route towards masking our feelings in Hextech, the one thing she feels successful about, while selecting the Kirammans is masking within a world of luxury. I think the Jayce and Viktor option makes more sense for Jinx to select. Additionally I feel Jayce's mother is probably a better mother than Cassandra, and because Viktor is involved we're more likely to maintain some connections with Zaun than with the Kirammans.

I feel the interesting line for selecting the Kirammans is trying to become a councilor, but I feel that timeline is outside of the scope of this quest and personally is less interesting to me.

[x] The Kirammans

Practicality. They've already proved willing to host her. Have done so and it went pretty well. The Kirramans looked after powder, kept her safe, and returned her to Vander.

We know they're able to care for her and have room. And right now I would like to give Jinx as much familiarity as possible rather than bouncing her to Jayce and Viktor when she really needs help.

Just had a realization that in a way this is a vote on who our sibling surrogate is likely to be.

[ ] The Kirammans
For the older sister we just lost, and;

[ ] Jayce and Viktor
For the older brothers we just lost

[X] Jayce and Viktor

Powergaming it is, I guess, so much for Powder and Vi plotting on the same side together. *sigh*
