Interesting role reversal.

Powder aligns with Piltover, while Vi is the one who ends up in Silco's hands.

To be fair Vi could easily have gone down that path were it not for Vander.

Powder's gotten a lucky break comparatively but the next time they meet (and Powder and Vander- if he lives- will absolutely think she's dead given the bomb) it'll be a very awkward conversation.

Though not as awkward as Cait-Vi. I'm kind of looking forward to how you handle that @Chengar Qordath I do love a good slow burn enemies-to-lovers. (or it could go tragically....)

Is it better to avoid bringing attention to ourselves and linking ourself to Zaunite kids with bombs immediatly after being questioned for blowing up a lab? Yes it absolutely is. But, it is also in character for a kid to forget all of that and focus on the fact that someone has her brother's bloody goggles on her. In this case I think empathy and trying to be even more active in caring about and helping those she cares about better represents the kind of Powder I'd like to see grow from this tragedy.

Seconding this.

[X] W-where did you get those goggles?
[X] Those are Claggor's. Is he okay?

Oh god, Vi getting the shimmer treatment is a recipie for disaster, and not just because Dr. Creeper had 7ish less years to refine the damn thing but also because a shimmer addled Vi coming to the totally rational conclusion that Jayce, Viktor and Caitlyn are trying to take Powder away from her and tearing Piltover apart trying to get her back is now a scenario on the cards. And that is arguably one of the better possibilities. Another is that Vi ends up D-E-D, ded from the procedure, becomes a permanent roid rage monster until something or someone is forced to put her down, or worse ends up manipulated by Silco into becoming his heavy hitter by having him poison her against Vander, taking full advantage of her emotional turmoil, likely magnified by the shimmer procedure, to do so.

Whats especially interesting is if Shimmer Vi remembers and ever gets to thinking about Sevika's apology and the talk of revolution.

Another point is whether Jayce ever connects the timing of Vi's trying to cross to the aftermath of the Hextech explosion. It's entirely possible someone overheard Vi or that she had some manner of public reaction to it.

For a final thinker, did Claggor finish arming his mouser bomb, or is there a chance Silco collected it from the bridge?

If she puts one and one together I don't think Sevika will stand a chance. Not without her canon... um... upgrades.

Could happen I suppose.

If Silco did salvage Claggor's Mouser he'd still have a hard time reverse engineering it without Jinx being there. Oh god, what if Vi let's slip to Silco that Powder made the Mouser and Silco deliberately gasses up Vi's paranoia that Jayce is trying to steal Powder from her and promises to keep them safe from Piltover, all for the chance of getting Powder to him so that he can get her to make more of the Mousers for him? And maybe getting some early Hextech as well.

I don't think Silco needs Mousers so much. he has Singed working for him, as well as others, and facilities to produce Shimmer. I doubt he can't produce bombs of equal calibre without getting Powder. this is only a very early bomb, not the complex stuff we saw older Jinx make after multiple years of experience.

he might want to get Powder for Hextech, or to try and use her talent. but that is another matter.

on the other hand, I am really worried we are headed for a full on war already. that bomb incident is really easy for each side to blame on the other side, even without an ulterior motive(And in both sides there are those with plenty motives). so we can see Zaun getting riled up over kids murdered, and Piltover mobilizing over a terror attack. and with no witnesses there is no one to clarify that the whole thing was an accident.

maybe if Powder admits to have made the bomb, it can at least clear some of the blame from Piltover, but then we need to prove Powder's brothers didn't actually came attack the enforcers or set the bomb on purpose. otherwise we are just making things worse, and getting Powder in trouble too.
tbh, Powder will probably be in trouble either way. but I hope that, if we can show it was an accident, we can get by with some stricter supervision and limitations. not ideal but worth it to prevent a war
