It Belongs to a Museum

Honestly I'm trying to get people to consider tyrazen the infinite in Warhammer fantasy after all this quest is about running a museum in the old world who else could really be the best choice other than the kleptomaniac necron of 40k I don't personally mind where we start at I vote for altdorf because it's the most manic of the options to me but I really like the idea of bringing tyrazen into the old world because I don't think there's a current tyrazen analog in canon fantasy so I'm trying to inspire a consideration of what the fantasy version of tyrazen would be like and encourage people to vote for a tyrazen expi so that we can explore the concept and the QM can bring the concept to life in this story

Trazyn isn't something you can replicate in Fantasy, a good part of what makes him work is being one of the most singularly powerful characters in his setting while also being detached from most concerns beside his collection. Some random antiquarian in Aldorf or for that matter Marienburg or the Vampire Coast will never be able to put Tyrion in a case beside Grimgor Ironhide and that is what one would have to do to match Trazyn's collection.

Well, there's a few problems with your plan, if what you've stated here is the desired outcome.

1) His name is Trazyn, not Tyrazen.

2) Altdorf is perhaps the single most hostile of the presented locations for an undead curator to exist in, given the Empire's been fighting them in perennial skirmishes for most of its existence, and had three full-blown defensive wars against undead trying to conquer it.

I suppose the closest thing would be a Museum version of that Von Carstein librarian living under Nuln.

A Trazyn expy would be a Tomb King, not a Vampire. There's no obvious mirror for the Vampire Coast in 40k.
Vampires were created by nagash who also created the curse that resurrected the tomb kings also there are lamina descendant vampires so a tyrazen expi is possible either by being a lamina vampire, a vampire of lamina decent, a surviving tomb king descendant whose ancestors were not in nehkara when the curse of negash occurred. There are options but besides that this is fictional not canon we can explore ideas by being a bit flexible with the lore so we can explore a interesting story idea.

Since I've learned about Count von Sangster, I'm a big fan of him. I would love to read about his adventures managing his library and stopping those pesky witch-hunters from breaking in. Him making business with Mathilde would be awesome.

I would argue that trazyn's greatest attribute is not his power but rather his shear mania the insane drive to preserve history to the point he's willing to perform incredibly mad schemes and plans solely for the purposes of acquiring new artifacts to display and preserve. Power helps display the shear mania of trazyn but his nature as a outlier is what makes him so fun to read and hear about biotranferance didn't break trazyn it freed him to do the job he loves for all eternity.

Thanks for correcting my spelling spell check does not correct trazyn's name and altdorf is my preferred choice of staring location because of the description provided by the QM because trazyn absolutely has items that other people want to take back because trazyn doesn't care about what they think he just wants to preserve history. In regards to the point about the undead I'm not sure I'm sure the QM can think of a way if trazyn even is an undead in this story.

Oh no, the elves are ahead by one point. I don't want to be the Empire's neighbor, I want to be as far from them as possible. I don't want to be an Asur either, I'm already reading three quests from that point of view. Lemme Coast. Let my boss be my entire Board of Directors simultaneously. Let me see what intelligent zombies are like. Let me see how souls cut off from the aethyr manage to still curry the favor of the divine and receive blessings that you'd think would just slide right off of them like water from a duck's back. Lemme see all the bastards of Warhammer as something other than enemies to be cut down and wiped out, because they are our customers and patrons. Please, vote VC Museum today.

yeah i mostly don't want to be within the bounds of the empire.

there is enough Elf and empire focussed stories in my opion i want to see what Boney does with the far west. also becouse it's pirates there is a good chance of getting stuff from all over the world.

I also agree Trazyn is the best. Honestly he could work as a Tomb King or a Vampire. If there is a character plan to make him, I'm voting for it.

Speak of; @Boney how long is this vote going to last?

Would Chaos Dwarves be more inclined to museums than traditional dwarves? I suppose trophy halls would be rather in line with the whole domination and tyranny stuff. Hm.

I don't think they'd care to collect objects from other cultures?

They're just as insular as the Karaz Ankor Dwarfs, ultimately.
