It Belongs to a Museum

The problem with the vampire option is it means we will never get any interesting (non-homicidal) guests. A vampire curator will only ever get to brag and show off for zombies. An Elf curator can have all sorts of people visiting. Merchants coming to see a coin collection from across the Old World. Mercenaries gawking at the first Empire shot tower. Wizards seething at Empire relics they aren't allowed to steal back. Suspiciously pale individuals gloating at a shelf of genuine vampire skulls.

A vampire curator might be an interesting character. But they would be a very isolated one.
I mean, Roswita's campaign shows that there's plenty of foolish people willing to work with vampires. And Harkon has a whole control over the tide thing going on to force people to come to him. Just think of all the people he'll demand go through his shiny new museum before he lets them sail away lol.

The was majority of magical artifacts can be put into display cases safely and easily even by mortal hands.

For the exceptions, we have specialists.
Of course, this works in more cases, but purposefully collecting strange things in order to store them in one place is clearly not included in this majority of cases.
After all, we won't even be able to notice that something is going wrong if suddenly some magical artifact starts emitting strange magic.

I call upon Sarthosa to rally to Vampire coast banner, i for one had enough of exploring Oligarchy in real life, Screw Marienburg.
But what about elvish oligarchy?

What is your opinion on working class ?
Well, someone has to serve as blood bags, right?

I'm honestly surprised that Altdorf with "we love things that will burn our city down" isn't getting more play.
There's many quests focused on the Empire or other human nations, like for example Boney's other quest, and very few on the Asurs. Furthermore, seeing Marienbourg's point of view would be pretty refreshing, especially when written by Boney.

Also, God I hate this vote. Can't remember the last time I had to watch such a narrow vote where I really cared about the outcome.
The mammoth vote is DL was pretty close if I remember correctly. Strangely I got super invested in that one :V

If we get to play as an elf that would make me a very happy quester. Really, the only thing I care about with the location any vote is how much elf content we will get out of it.
It's always nice to see fellow elf lovers. If you want to play as the best race ever, there's a good quest on this very site.

Fantasy - Mercenary Mage Quest: Asur Dogs of War in Warhammer Fantasy

You are Loremaster Fanriel of Yvresse, formerly a Princess of House Drangleic. Now you are an exile trying to make your name as a mercenary captain in Great War-era Kislev.

Actually my favorite player character for vampire coast would probably be something along the lines of

"Disgraced former Altdorf Museum curator gets Banished to lustria, then Luthor harkon happens!"
(Mostly because I have this scene in my head of an argument between the MC and harkon and it just going
"You may be an all powerful vampire lord but I am a professional so let me do my work, good day sir.")

I voted for Marienburg but ngl I find all options are interesting in their ways. Also, Boney a quick question if you wouldn't mind. I'm not very knowledgeable about lore so I checked wiki to be sure and it seems in 2471 Morathi double crosses Luthor Harkon then seals him in a vault after they raided a lizardmen city. Will that be canon for this quest? Thread's Vampire Coast intro here says "bargain with Druchii of Ghrond". I was just curious how this dynamic may be effected by that going forward.

The facet of Luthor Harkon that experienced that is still pretty miffed about it. The others say that just because you were stupid enough to let the scorpion ride on your back, doesn't mean you need to cut off all the rest of your business with it.

In order of approval:

[x] Vampire Coast
Access to all of Naggarustria and a clear road to Ulthuan, all interesting places. Necromancy and vampires are fun to learn about. I would like to play a vampire. This choice will probably have the most interesting species selection step.

[x] Sith Rionnasc
An even clearer road to Ulthuan! Being involved in elf politics would be great, and being clear enemies of the Empire would be intriguing. It's not impossible we could end up consigning a runefang to our vaults!

[x] Sartosa
Sartosan politics would be entertaining, though not quite as much as previous choices. I like the idea of having a clear view of the Southlands and Araby. "Pirate museum" modifies the premise in an interesting way that "vampire museum" or "Dutch elf museum" don't quite achieve.

[] Tilea
I'm not unintrigued, but I'm less interested in running a museum if it's focused on achieving military aims for our sponsor.

[] Altdorf
If someone offered to make it so that nobody would ever write Warhammer Fantasy fiction from the perspective of the Reikland again in return for three of my toes, they wouldn't even have to finish their sentence before I reach for the cleaver.

I love the idea of "Ooh, shiny! That looks like it's very valued by someone who will chase it to the Polar Gates and back!"
But I also like the idea of being an Asur magpie. And, of course, Sartosa gives the pirate aesthetic while not being too spooky for my preferences for this.
