Interesting.

Also y'all I'd like to suggest getting that hammerspace suitcase sometime soon? You never know when you might need to stuff something in a suitcase that makes stuff weightless. Obviously it's 5 capital and we're out but something to think about. (it's an inventory! An inventory!)

New Panic Button™ might drop soon?
Who knows? Maybe. Also leaving this since its 12 am and I need to wake up early tomorrow (ugh stupid projects)
TRW omake DigiMONS paths. (Rookie-> Champion-> ultimate-> Mega)
The Rathalos looks awesome. (Greatsword or Sword and Shield)
Monstie Zinogre -> Zinogre-> Stygian Zinogre-> Thunderlord/Howlimg Zinogre (although Howling could honestly go Ultra level, frontier man...)
Duel Blades/Longsword/ChargedBlade
The Gore line looks cool. (Switch axe or DB)
Monstie Brachydios-> Brachydios-> Raging Brachydios-> Ice Flame Brachydios (Tonfa, Gunlance or Hammer for weapons)
Momstie Narcacuga-> Narcacuga-> Silver Wind/Luscient Narcacuga-> Blinking Narcacuga (Although also could be Ultra, again Frontier) (Long sword, Dual Blades, Bow)
Monstie Rathian-> Rathian-> Pink Rathian-> Dreadqueen/Gold Rathian (Sword and Shield, Bow, Lance?)
Monstie Yian Kut Ku-> Yian Kut ku/ Blue Yian Kut Ku-> Yian Garuga-> Deadeye Yian Garuga. (Sword and Shield, Insect Glaive, Light Bowgun?)
Monstie Lagiacrus-> Lagiacrus-> Ivory Lagiacrus-> Abyssal Lagiacrus (No idea for weapons)
Monstie Tigrex-> Tigrex-> Brute Tigrex-> Molten Tigrex/Grimclaw Tigrex (Hammer)
Momstie Misutsune-> Misutsune-> Purple Misutsune-> Soulseer/ThundrrBubble Misutsune (Long Sword, Hunting Horn?)
Yeah thats all I got from the top of my head. Night!

Also, on an unrelated note; I was meaning to make it a tradition to give you guys more songs from my personal playlist when vote ends, just to give you more looks into my head. Remind me to do that next time— five songs each time I close the vote. Speaking of:

ILl hear this tomorrow. Probably cool.

Oh and thank you for these! I'll keep them in mind for if I make a part 2 to that omake
Wait. Waiiiit a minute.
We're gonna meet another mahou shoujo that's not Akemi that has Nobelle in their name?? Huh. (THEY"RE A RICH GIRL LMAOO )
... is Nobelle a signifer of people who have those Sparks with them?

Looks like chapter will be out tomorrow or Friday. No rolls needed this time, just one more level up before I throw you guys into Missing Piece.

As far as stat boosts go....it probably wouldn't hurt to push Social above 20. I think Magical should be another, and then I personally am leaning towards Physical, but am open to arguments for the other two.

Thats sounds like a good spread, although I think our stats are going to go slightly up before then(due to level up)... but the though still stands.

I just think we might want a stat boost on something before we undergo a mission. Never fails to have more insurance for rolls after all
Hmm... true... true. Eapecislly since one of the missions is to have a "spar" against a ARCHMAGE... you know having higher stats so its not a complete slaughter may be nice.

During this state, all Void spells gain new effects, and Rei gains a buff to all her stats except for Social, which you gain a debuff to. Void Burst's stat buff is equal to 5+your current level x2. Rei may also take an extra action each turn, at the cost of paying 5 Health per extra action.
Idk, +22 to all stats except social sounds pretty good, if you're willing to take the -22 to social. Assuming we take Trigger V. Burst, that is.

Could be a 17 stat modifier, considering PEMDAS, but still a heftier increase than what the level up increases give.

Rei's Place

You are Rei Maruki, and right now you're cleaning up your apartment. The place that Kasumi saved up her money to get you deserves more than the bare minimum, after all. It's not fun or rewarding work, especially considering that unlike cleaning in Jun's house, there's almost no chance that you'll find any wacky gadgets or thousand yen bills between the couch cushions. But it's still worth it, if only for the feeling of having a clean space of your own.

>Hey, didn't you say that you killed an assassin for this apartment? What happened to that?

>Darling, I'm pretty sure that the "Kasumi" Rei's talking about was that assassin.

You sigh, before taking a seat on the now-fluffed couch. Distantly, you half-wonder if you could room with Akemi and be watching a movie with her right now, but you dismiss the idea out of hand. Jun's a decent enough shot compared to you, and his house has enough security systems and reinforced glass that you feel safer leaving Akemi with Himari and Jun. Even if it leaves you alone.

You turn your attention to the voices in your head as a distraction. Your head's been clearer ever since Atry and Gargoyle did something up there- now it's usually about four to five people that you have to deal with per day. Nothing too bad, especially considering that you deal with more people on the job anyways. With all that being said…

"Yeah, Kasumi passed me the deed to this apartment and made some sort of deal with the landlord. I don't know what, probably some threat to bring down twenty different squads of assassins on his family if he tries to kick me out. My rent's pretty much on the floor."

>Good. Landlords deserve less.

>Preach.

"Man, you guys are gonna have fun once we get up to Eiganjo, aren't you?"

>It's rich people heaven. If it wasn't for the fact that there's probably some workers up there, we'd be trying to crash it into the ocean.

"…noted." Geez, you almost forgot these people weren't human for a second.

Wait. Not human…

"Speaking of, I never got to ask what you guys were. Some sort of AIs, like HumaGears, was my best guess, but you guys don't seem associated with any corp at all."

>…do you really want an exposition dump right now?

"I mean, I've got the time. Do I look like I have anything better to do?"

>She's got a point. Ok, I'll start.

Recollection of Malice: Memories of a Wonderland
>Ok, let's do this one last time. My name is Queen of Hearts, though you can just call me Hearts, and for the past, uh…

>Two years?

>Thanks Hare! Yeah, for two years me and my girls have been part of the Mlice Collective, a group of hackers concerned about the state of security, government, and the internet as a whole.

>We steal from the government and the megacorps that actually work as the government. It's also sometimes spelled as "Maliss" or just plain "Malice". We've changed it up a few times.

>Thank you Dormouse— now everybody, please stop interrupting my monologue. Ahem.

We're what's called Cyberse. Cyber… uh. I forgot. Whatever. I'll get to that later. Us Cyberse are unique in that we're artificial intelligences created when data created by you humans fall into something called a data storm- a big conglomerate of energy/data that manifests either in the virtual world or real world. Usually the former, occasionally the latter.

"Wait, what year is it where you guys come from? We don't have any full brain-upload VR like what I think you guys are talking about."

>Uh, 2106. Why do you ask?

"Just curiosity. Now, can I get a notepad somewhere?"

>I think there's one in the bottom drawer underneath the junk drawer. If you want to take some notes, feel free to.

>As I was saying. We're Cyberse, created from… probably an adaptation of Alice In Wonderland. Likely one of the watered down or censored versions released by a corp, especially considering that my gang only gets really crazy when we're actually trying to hack somebody.

>While we don't have a particular order of operations, me and Red are the "Queens", while Dormouse, Hare, and Cheshire are the "Pawns". Which means literally nothing except for the fact that sometimes me and Red go after the bigger fish that they can't fry, like that one dude from the S-Force who tried to dox us through our shared Final Fantasy 23 account. Long story.

>And yeah, that's pretty much it! There's some other thieves, cons, and celebrities hanging around both in VR space and the analog world, but we don't really interact. We just fuck around and make corpos mad. All six of us.

"Wait. All six of you guys?"

>Yeah, there's me, Hearts, Dormouse, Cheshire, Hare, and Blanc-

>...Hold up.

There's a silence in your head. Then, what can only be described as extremely loud pixelated noises, screeching that can only come from the most genuine panic in the world, and just the sound of panic blares in your head for a few seconds. It isn't the worst— you've gotten shot a few times, point blank— but it's definitely annoying.

After a while of the incoherent noise (you even pulled out your phone to doomscroll on social media, you almost never do that) there's finally quiet in your head.

>Hello. I am the White Queen- though I take a backseat normally.

>Blanc, can you please explain more?

There is an audible silence in your head. If you could cut the silence with something, you'd probably need a knife- no, probably a sword. Maybe even Akemi's sword. Wait, can you even use that sword?

>I was dormant, because I am very logical, owing to my nature as both an artificial being and my lack of characterization in the data that was put into the data storm that created me. Since nobody told me to wake up, I simply did not.

>HARE!!! Isn't it your job to keep track of all these numbers things?!

>I forgot as well!!!

You sigh. "Well, at least you're here now. Can you at least help me out when I transform?"

>I have some minor power over time- to be specific, seconds.

"You're hired then, I guess. Um, don't ask why I just said that. I just got off my job, I'm tired."

Malice form now has a +36 bonus to Technical. (Previously, it was +30.)

New move gained!
<CODE> WB-01
(1 Use Per Scene)
DC: 65

Use after you took a hit during this turn. Target one enemy attack roll that you were hit by. If DC succeeds, retroactively reduce that enemy roll by an amount equal to how much this rolled (it works) (this counts as a debuff) (Don't ask.)

Once that's over, you take a deep breath, and reach into your bag. You were meaning to do this, you almost forgot. You pull out a small, phone-sized and rectangular thing. It's the piece of tech you bought from Jun ages ago- the Recollection Enhancer. It's white and looks futuristic, but as you extend it out on it's internal metal rails, a wire sticks out, shooting an electric spark into your wall. Hm.

>eh... it looks decent enough. I've seen (and made lmao) sketchier.

Apparently, it's supposed to draw out powerful (read: vivid) memories, which can then be conveniently extracted for spells. Like the ones Kirata can make you. Oh dear.

>Is this gonna be a drug trip?

Maybe. Might be. But, if this is what you're gonna have to do to continue your constant increase in power and protect your friends, then it will have to do.

Like, you've noticed. Over the past few weeks, you've been getting better. More well rounded. After getting out of the Labyrinth in Akemi's place, you started to keep better track of things, and notice the little things more. Aside from that, after you got back from the library, you noticed that you could run a bit farther, and keep more air in your lungs.

>Like some sort of bioware. Except with more passive effects instead of active.

Yup. Your Rider powers are slowly enhancing your body. You know that it'll cut off or slow down eventually- just like a group of people, your body's only got a certain carrying capacity- but you won't stop it until it becomes a problem. And you feel like it won't. Just instinctively, in the same way that you knew that both Kasumi and Solferina wouldn't actually have tried to kill you.

Eh. You're not complaining. More strength, less chance of anything bad happening to Akemi or Himari. Just what it is. You press the white tablet to your head, and breathe.

What do you remember?

Leveled Up!
Level 6 (EXP: 90/100)
-Over Damage increases to 6.
-Gain +6 to one stat.
Please note that barring the use of Perks, important life experiences, or transformations, a baseline human will only be able to have a max modifier of 30 on any stat. Since you can get to 30 in Physical with this vote, please note that hitting 30 will grant Rei a level of this Perk.

[Reshuffled: Physical]
What can be broken down can be built back up, and pieced back together. Fix the deck of fate, and you'll be able to break even the Void with your iron fists!
(Or: holy shit, your powers are beginning to punch things as hard as you specifically want them to!)

[Physical has reached its max improvement for now. Once per Week, when a Physical check or attack is failed, Rei may reroll that failed check. (Gain other levels of Reshuffled to gain something else…)]
General Buff
Gain two extra +6 upgrades to two unique stats on top of the one buff you already have. So for example, you could get 2 Magical upgrades and one Mental upgrade, or a Physical, Mental, and Social upgrade. Please note that you cannot go with 3 total upgrades into one stat.
[ ] (2nd Boost) Physical
[ ] (2nd Boost) Mental
[ ] (2nd Boost) Social
[ ] (2nd Boost) Technical
[ ] (2nd Boost) Magical

Alternatively, you may take 1 skill per level up from one of the below skill trees.
Assassin Skills (Offensive)
Have Rei remember one of the attacking skills that she learned as an assassin, and have her train in it again.
-[ ] Focus On The Target
-[ ] Weaken Target
-[ ] Sudden Kill

Focus On The Target
[Passive]

When you hit a Weakness, it deals x2 damage instead! However, you take +3 damage from all attacks.
Weaken Target
DC: 60
(Usable two times per Scene)

Signature Attack of the Guild. Deal 1d8 piercing damage to one character. For every 10+ this rolls over DC, lower Crit Threshold when attacking that character by 5 instead of applying Over Damage.
Sudden Kill
DC: 90
(Usable one time per Combat)

Signature Attack of the Guild. Deal 4d8 piercing damage to one character. If this Crits, deal x4 damage.

Assassin Skills (Defensive)
Have Rei remember one of the not-dying skills that she learned as an assassin, and have her train in it again.
-[ ] Insulting Taunt
-[ ] Extra Focus

Insulting Taunt
(DC 50, Social)

Halve the damage from the next attack that you'll take, and give Taunt 1-3 to you or one of your allies.
Extra Focus
Inner Focus triggers when you have 25 or less Health now.

Power Of ???
Have Purrson (or Kirata, if she has the time) teach you some weird shit.
-[ ] Cat Attack!
-[ ] Awakening Commune
-[ ] Thieves' Communion
-[ ] Trigger V. Burst

Cat Attack!
DC: 50, Physical
(Usable two times per Scene, only available when Akemi is in the fight)

Throw Purrson at an enemy's face to impart the fear of god and cats into them, dealing d6 Slashing damage. That enemy takes a -10 reduction to their next two rolls, and next turn, you get two actions!
On Crit, it becomes a canonical fact that the enemy you targeted had a cat allergy, and they skip one of their actions when they get hit by this. Yes, really.
Awakening Commune
While a spirit summoned by Spirit Commune is on the field, the Awakening they generate can also be shared with Rei. Also, decreases the DC of Spirit Commune by 5.
Thieves' Communion
When a spirit with the [Thieves Guild] passive is summoned, if you swapped into another [Thieves Guild] form, they get the same temporary benefits that you do. Also, decreases the DC of Spirit Commune by 5.
Trigger Void Burst!
Magical, Two Times Per Combat
DC: 50/70

Activate Void Burst of your own volition- but focus yourself this time. On success, Rei enters the powerful Void Burst state for two-three turns, but she's able to control herself and distinguish friend from foe. Cannot be used while Void Burst is on cooldown. Also gives Rei +30 Awakening!
[ ] Plan Stat Buff
-[ ] +6 to…
-[ ] +6 to…
-[ ] +6 to…

[ ] Plan New Skill
-[ ] +6 to…
-[ ] Assassin Training/Power Of ??? Upgrade

Author's Note:
Apologies to Ashen Cross. It wasn't supposed to be a joke with the titles- I honestly don't even know what punchline you were talking about. As for everyone else, please have your memory and level up votes on separate lines, please! Happy voting, heroes.

The Archmages will be at your location by this weekend or Monday. Good luck, I'm gonna be asleep now.

Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehe
A taste of the benefits Time Thieves will give us no doubt!
And I can see the digimon discussion's influence here- I can just taste it!

Oooooo Okay

So if we go with Stats, we get the choice of three... I think we should 100% go with Physical here. It would make up for not choosing to get another ability since it UNLOCKS one

Further more, that +6 we get from... okay wait I've never actually figured out how stat adding works.

We get +6 from the level up, that all the points we get right?
Edit:
Gain two extra +3/+4 upgrades to two unique stats on top of the one buff you already have. So for example, you could get 2 Magical upgrades and one Mental upgrade, or a Physical, Mental, and Social upgrade. Please note that you cannot go with 3 total upgrades into one stat.

Okay I could have just read-

So if we go with the General Buff option, we get a +6 and two +3/+4s
And looking at the stats...
Stats:
Physical: 24
Social: 19
Mental: 23
Technical: 20
Magical: 21
If we get two +4's... or even just dump everything into Mental... next Level up we can get max Mental

Otherwise we could go for buffing Social and Magic/Techincal?

I thought it was a reference to Phineas and Ferb, so I was reasonably disappointed.

Neato! Hope this doesn't affect the idea to get Void Burst.

It's three +6's if we go for General Buff, actually. The +3/+4 is a copy-paste error from when we had to vote on what we got from the Level 3 and Level 4 (since we voted for those benefits at the same time). Plan Template ilustrates best what we can gain.
👀

oooooooOOOOOOOO-
Do... do you realize what we could do with 2 MORE +6's?????
We could take ANY of our stats and send them to 30! Sure it would waste some points, but still
