Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

Lyr Half-tongue has a plan of some sort, that you know before he even opens his mouth to agree.
Anyone have an idea as to what that would be? Drawing a blank here. I feel like we should use the Crown to make sure it isnt nefarious in some way considering they'd be under Lydia's service and she's kind of... easy to be lead around which is why we came out here for a divine dog(s) to begin with.

Their goal is the resurrect Arthur. I am guessing they have eyes kn some manner of resurrection technique that isn't a divine artifact. Not sure which one, but there are plenty such things in the world mythology.

Yeah but not necessarily DresdenFiles. Actual resurrection seems pretty damn rare here if they have something else in mind already for that I'd have to wonder why it is they went after the Cauldron to begin with.

I'm pretty sure that answering questions falls under "serving", so the interrogation option would make sense only to those who don't want to release them.

It does him no more harm to sleep another year

And it seems they are going to try to revive Arthur again in a year with some method. But I think that by that point we either have won their trust, are strong enough to handle them for sure, or the world is already on fire, the Masquerade is gone, and we already brought Arthur back ourselves.

Proximity most likely. The next closest one would probably be in the Isle of skye and that would require definitely fighting the lady of the Land of Shadows. Then they'd be looking in Ireland which might have run afoul of fairies. Then they probably would look in France looking for whatever gaulish mythological effects that would allow Resurrection because almost every Pantheon has them. I imagine the Welsh underworld was just the closest.

They had more than a thousand years to go over everything. Their mission and vows are essential for keeping them sane. They likely discussed scenarios of their release hundreds, if not thousands of times. They absolutely have multiple plans for each conceivable scenario and each conceivable circumstance and conditions of their release.

Call me paranoid but I want to cut out any possible surprises here considering these guys are going to be around Lydia for a long while. These three are Exalted, a Crown question to better ensure her safety seems like a good idea to me.

The crown isn't a perfectly hidden effect if we use it in front of them there's a not insignificant chance one of them will realize what just happened. If you must add that question just have it be on a recording of the conversation later.

These guys aren't Titania tier beings though nor are they a being of constant intellectus like the Archive. If they're going to be working for Lydia then they're going to realize we have a high form of precog at some point aswell. They probably know we're Exalted too since we figured out they're rather quickly and we just used Essence in front of them.

If they are dragonblooded equivalent they would have the senses to see us use the crown. They don't need intellectus to be able to see it just like we shouldn't use it in front of mab other exalted who have the ability and possibly the knowledge necessary to comprehend what they're seeing we shouldn't use it in front of them either. Lydia knows we have some kind of precognitive ability she does not know the nature of said precognitive ability.

Would that necessarily be so bad, though? Revealing that you used some sort of divination to make sure that the intentions of the prisoners you are considering paroling are honorable, is not exactly outrageous. It's not like they can complain. They are imprisoned in the first place, for very serious dishonor.

And if they are going to be serving us for a year, then they will almost certainly find out something about the Crown at one point anyway.

Dragonblooded can just see the Crown in use? Not saying your wrong but where are you getting this from?

I pointed out that Lydia knows we have high level precog because we haven't told her. She knows because she goes on missions with us and we have a tendency to use the Crown to speed things up and make big plays. We've even used it mid combat before. If these guys are serving Lydia for a year and a day they're going to figure out we have high tier precog in short order as well. We can't just stop using the Crown whenever Lydia and co are near if they join Lydia with our party.

If it was just revealing a precognitive ability I wouldn't care but the crown is essentially an intellectus that works on any and every subject imaginable. The way it's worked so far is Quest is it essentially signals like the base line of reality to pull an answer from it no one has knowledge that we can do that other than Harry and Tiffany and Tiffany only knows because she was inside of Harry when we did it.

It comes down to scope if they just thought we had precognitive abilities it'd be fine but we know certain beings can tell what the crown does and if these guys are exalted or some kind of equivalent I wouldn't put it past them to be able to guess either and then knowing that we have essentially perfect intellectus even if they don't know the conditions under which it works is bad.

It is primarily a supposition. It comes from the fact Dragonparadox has stated that the crown signals something to receive the answers to the questions we ask of it. They also alluded to the fact fairy queens and other Supernatural entities with powerful enough senses and knowledge would be able to tell what is happening if we used it in front of them Dragon blooded equivalents would have essentially exalted sensory effects and considering the era they came from the occultic knowledge necessary to understand what they are seeing.

Combat capable precognition or divination that's insane intense powerful still not intellectus though. Definitely not near on demand omniscient intellectus either.

Please do not present your suppositions so confidently - the rest of this post where you expanded on your reasoning is good and I appreciate it, but I found the one beforehand perplexing.
I was also wondering where you were getting "they will know we used the crown" from, since that has only applied to a literal Outsider and I think potentially Mab had the chance to do.
