Does "not a proper taunting" mean no soul that needs to be laid to rest? If so it's no obligation of Lydia's, let alone ours.
There is no full ghost in that car, just marks that someone died in that trunk.

Clones of the Primordial Adorjan are canonically candidates for Exaltation in Ex2.IDU is a fomor-making charm. And Solar shards are very discerning in their tastes:
Not particularly?
I dont have my Age of Glory books with me.On "Bigger and badder entities, from Primordials to elder Exalts, have tried and failed to fuck with the choices of an Exaltation shard." - can I get a quote please? I hear that a lot, but from my own readings of the books that's just not true.
For some, not for most.In my opinion, the fallen of the world of darkness are better purely because in many ways redemption is an active goal for some of them. Plus, they are not one of the main evils of the setting, no more than all the other factions and forces. In many ways, I just think they are closer to a situation where they can coexist with others without causing Armageddon. As for counterweight, the same goes for everyone else. The World of Darkness is abandoned by God for the most part. There are almost no good guys there.
I didnt ignore it. I just didnt think it was relevant.I explained precisely this point in the very quote you are quoting and which you conveniently ignored:
That's arguable to say the least. Hell, in Return of the Scarlet Empress comic insert, Sol offers Dace a choice of exalting or passing away from old age. They have a proper dialog, Sol, gives him a vision, and a choice. So, as I said, arguable a bit.
I specifically said solar. The intent is very clear. Only pure mortals untouched by other powers.I dont particularly see anything in that quote disqualifying a mortal fomor from a Celestial Exaltation; the Exaltation will burn out any and all previous supernatural attachments.
There's at least one Abyssal in ExWoD who was a ghoul/thrall who Exalted mid-Embrace
It is? Always thought that was Sol. Ok then, argument withdrawn, I guess, though I would say this still qualifies as something choosing a particular someone. That's not the Unconquered Sun, that's the ghost of his previous incarnation giving him a pep talk while he's on the brink of death after getting the shit kicked out of him, and getting him to choose to keep going to get his heroic second wind.
Indeed.I think using the crown is a really quick way out that costs us one specific Toyota as a focus. Probably. In any case, it may be faster than trying to go on a wild chase. The only question is how to formulate the question
She burned all her Faith. Thats quite a gesture of trust.
Because she hasn't offered yet. I assume that she will get around to it.Can someone remind me why we haven't had Lash permanently boost Molly, Lydia, and Olivia's attributes like she just did for Daniel?
Rather than asking how a body came to be in the trunk, why not instead ask for the identity of the deceased?Indeed.
[X] Plan Checking
-[X] Have Clippy run down the license plates of the car
-[X] Use the Crown on the car to learn how a dead body came to be in the trunk of the car
--[X] If there's nothing supernatural about it, tip the local police, using Clippy's data
--[X] If there's anything supernatural going on
---[X] Activate All Things Betray with WIllpower
--[X] Use Naked Wicked Souls on the driver of the car
We did this with her through several votes over several rounds (that is, months) and that with several people wanting to wash their hands of her, me among them. That's what I meant when I said that we spent months fighting with her, supported by supernatural power, for her to stop trying to control Molly to live as she thought she should.I didnt ignore it. I just didnt think it was relevant.
We have convinced Charity Carpenter of stuff tied to her anti-magic intimacies without tying her to a chair and willpower-tapping her, to the point of literally getting her to help us feed ghouls in Undertown. We have similarly done this with Dresden. If imprisonment and brainwashing was the standard in play, we would never have won an argument against either.
I find it implausible a scenario that requires Molly's junior brother to be a harder social target than his mother.

What won was a vote for training and empowerment. Comprehensive training.
Fucking around in the supernatural is not just about knowing how to use a sword and doing magic kungfu. Just like being a soldier is not just about knowing how to shoot a rifle.
I expect him to be capable and useful in defense of himself, his home and his city.
I dont expect him to be following Molly around wherever trouble leads her.

As an aside, I have significant issues with people characterizing what Molly does as adventures, which is a word that conjures up pictures of jolly excursions of fun and games, as opposed to actual life or death shit for a significant number of people IC.
Its often grim work, of the sort that fucks adults up, let alone teens
Yomi Wan alone is the sort of thing that gives kueijin nightmares.
Nevermind that despite having personal staff AND drinking magic coffee, Molly had a spotty academic attendance record and was falling behind on a lot of stuff prior to literally spawning clones to give herself the time to catch up on everything she was falling behind on, from socializing to still doing direct action.
Daniel Carpenter is a high school sophomore/junior with a girlfriend, a large family and a social life.
Where he's supposed to find all this time is something noone has considered.
Recommendation: change the bolded bit to "Use the Crown on this scene to learn".-[X] Use the Crown on the car to learn how a dead body came to be in the trunk of the car
Rather than asking how a body came to be in the trunk, why not instead ask for the identity of the deceased?
If they're someone who has been missing for months or years, the urgency of the situation changes compared to someone whose absence has not yet been noticed.
And if the deceased is also the registered owner of the car, the urgency suddenly increases a great deal.
Mainly because I am using the question to check if there's anything supernatural going on here. If not, pass the info onto mortal authorities, and move on.Rather than asking how a body came to be in the trunk, why not instead ask for the identity of the deceased?

Sure, no problem.Recommendation: change the bolded bit to "Use the Crown on this scene to learn".
That way we can use the car for follow up questions regarding the situation if need be.
Citation please. As far as I remember, Molly currently excels at school.Nevermind that despite having personal staff AND drinking magic coffee, Molly had a spotty academic attendance record and was falling behind on a lot of stuff prior to literally spawning clones to give herself the time to catch up on everything she was falling behind on, from socializing to still doing direct action.
@DragonParadox I think you forgot that Olivia is also here. She hasn't been mentioned in a minute. With the weekend coming up and Lydia paying for everyone's tickets Olivia also decides to come with, make a bit of a holiday out of it... hopefully one that works out better than the last attempted girl's outing
The still-living Primordial Autochthon sealed off his world-body in full generality, stopping anything including Exaltations from entering, and you want to generalize to simply building an arena? One that's easily openable to throw people in and take them out again??No, this is very much "influencing choices". Because we know exaltations can be contained within a given area, or barred from entering a certain area. If you can do this, then there's nothing stopping you from limiting exaltation to selecting from an area where there is only one suitable candidate. Build a jade arena, throw monsters and a Dawn candidate in, and release the exaltation inside (while making sure it can't leave the arena). This results in exaltation only being able to select from the pool of one person - your candidate.
Soon after that, it was dawn, which regenerates her faith, but I agree that it was a gesture of trust from her to Molly and a gesture of trust from Molly to Lash to let her work on her brother and give her an ok for him.She burned all her Faith. Thats quite a gesture of trust.
Or would be, if it wasnt Molly she was dealing with.
For the next few minutes there's hardly any sign that anything odd is going on, a breeze out of nowhere blowing through Tiffany's hair, a few twitches on Daniel's arm and chest then Lash opens her eyes. "Done."
Tiffany loses 3 Faith -> Now at 0/3
Tiffany loses 3 Willpower -> Now at 5/8
Daniel's Stamina, Strength and Dexterity Increased to 5!
"Huh, you don't..." Lydia stops and reassesses, for a rather long time in your opinion . "You look a little different, but not much."
"I do excellent work," Tiffany sniffs and finishes her slurry like nothing out of the ordinary had happened.
The flight from Amsterdam to Cardiff catches the first rays of dawn in its windows before depositing the four of you in the rarely morning of that city, just more American tourists, among dozens, maybe hundreds of others, sun sparking fiercely off steel. Of course most people who just came off a thirteen hour combined flight are not in a fit state to rent a car for a hundred mile journey across the length of south Wales, but that's just details.
