Wouldn't it make more sense to make them these into the B2 battle droids of Star Wars.
That could also work but each model will need to be made separately instead of them being able to grab a tool
I'm guessing the more heavy armor ones would probably be guards for important bases.

Pretty much ya made to March and fire in sync to destroying any opposition as vehicles destory and flanks the enemy

Maybe have some sniper variants if we go the b2 route

Having the Repair function on a common bot will be such a huge force multiplier though. When not dealing with sonic and co who one shot Eggman's bots, having them suddenly be repaired for seemingly no reason would be an enormous advantage, and against sonic and co? Having them occasionally become invincible would be infuriating, as well making it more likely for them to over commit to an attack that ends up doing nothing, leaving them vulnerable.

You managed to get the work on the turret done in short order giving it repair abilities, a token launcher, an ice blast capability, and a missile barrage feature to top it all off. When the true doctor returns these machines will hopefully be a great edition to the many casino theme facilities he will create in the future.

However the majority of your time is focused on the other project you've taken up.

The SWAT Bots. These machines are far sturdier, more competent, and overly more vicious than just about any mainline badnick to date. Good, because the docters imposter deserves nothing less than to be crushed by only the most sinister designs you can come up with.

Even the baseline SWAT Bot comes equipped with very heavy armor and arm mounted blasters capable of destroying an Egg Pawn entirely in only two shots.

But you don't intend to stop at the baseline.

Gotta admit having badniks with Omegas weaponry is a very powerful choice.
